Objective To observe the effect of Yiqi Yangyin Recipe（YYR） on the expressions of muhidrug resistance gene 1 （ MDR1 ） mRNA and P-glycoprotein （ P-gp ） of leukemic stem cells. Methods CD34＋ CD38- KG1 a cells were isolated from KGla cell lines. CCK-8 method was used to detect the inhibitory rate and ICso value of daunorubicin （DNR） on KGla stem ceils. The mRNA expression of MDR1 in KGla stem cell after intervened by YYR was detected by RT-PCR. P-gp expression in each group was detected by flow cytometry after KGla stem ceils were intervened by YYR.

Fluorescent silicon （Si） nanopartides （SiNPs） hold great promise for innumerable biological and biomedical applications owing to their unique optical properties and negligible toxicity. In this article, we present a new traditional chinese medicine （TCM） molecule-assisted chemical synthetic strateg36 suitable for the production of multifunctional small-sized （diameter： - 3.7 nm） SiNPs in a facile and rapid （- 10 min） manner. Of particular significance, the resultant SiNPs simultaneously exhibited robust and stable fluorescence （photoluminescence quantum yield （PLQY）： ~ 15%）, as well as intrinsic anti-cancer efficacy with excellent selectivity toward cancer cells. Taking advantage of these unique merits, we further employed these novel fluorescent anti-cancer SiNPs （AC-SiNPs） for the fluorescence tracking and treatment of tumors, demonstrating long-term （~ 18 days） inhibition of tumor growth in tumor-bearing mice. Consequently, we believe this new TCM-assisted chemical synthetic method is highly attractive for designing silicon nanostructures featuring multiple functionalities, and we suggest these AC-SiNPs as novel promising tools for providing visual evidence of TCM-based cancer treatment.

Syndrome differentiation is the core diagnosis method of traditional chinese medicine(TCM).We propose a method that simulates syndrome differentiation through deductive reasoning on a knowledge graph to achieve automated diagnosis in *** analyze the reasoning path patterns from symptom to syndromes on the knowledge *** are two kinds of path patterns in the knowledge graph:one-hop and *** one-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes *** two-hop path pattern maps the symptom to syndromes through the nature of disease,etiology,and pathomechanism to support the diagnostic *** the different support strengths for the knowledge paths in reasoning,we design a dynamic weight *** utilize Naïve Bayes and TF-IDF to implement the reasoning method and the weighted score *** proposed method reasons the syndrome results by calculating the possibility according to the weighted score of the path in the knowledge graph based on the reasoning path *** evaluate the method with clinical records and clinical practice in *** preliminary results suggest that the method achieves high performance and can help TCM doctors make better diagnosis decisions in ***,the method is robust and explainable under the guide of the knowledge *** could help TCM physicians,especially primary physicians in rural areas,and provide clinical decision support in clinical practice.

Primary Sjogren’s syndrome(p SS)is a chronic autoimmune disease involving exocrine *** studies have found that the occurrence of the disease is closely related to genetic,environmental and neuroendocrine factors,as well as abnormal activation of T and B *** etiology and pathogenesis of p SS is complex,and there is a lack of specific targeted *** chinese medicines(TCMs)have been comprehensively investigated for their treatment effects on p *** a systematic review of the literature,we summarized the TCMs used to treat p SS,and find that there are four major ways that TCMs are used,including upregulation of aquaporin proteins,suppression of cell apoptosis,suppression of the abnormal activation of B lymphocytes and suppression of the abnormal activation of T lymphocytes(balancing T helper type[Th]1/Th 2& Th17/Treg and suppressing follicular helper T[Tfh]cells).However,there are not enough data about the active constituents,quality control,pharmacokinetics,toxicity and modern preparations of these TCMs;therefore,more investigations are *** paper highlights the importance of TCMs for treating p SS and provides guidance for future investigations.
