As part of Routledge's expansive series focused on "Studies in Rhetoric and Communication,one will find Scot Barnett's (2017) Rhetorical Realism: Rhetoric, Ethics, and the Ontology of things. Barnett's contribution is a good reminder that philosophy can benefit from the insights derived from the rhetorical tradition, especially when it comes to speculating about reality. This point is clearly evident in Bametfs thoughtful articulation of the claim,"that attunements to nonhuman beings and extrahuman realities are nothing new for rhetoric"(5). Barnett saliently argues for how rhetoric is ideally situated to help new philosophical schools of thought like speculative realism.

In this paper, the intelligent application we designed focuses on a closed family area. ZigBee technology is mainly used to achieve the remote control. The most popular Android system is used in the design. The operation interface on the home intelligent gateway is completed through the designed system. It can allow people the full control by using smartphones. The system is operated and controlled through touch panel. Furthermore, it can be controlled remotely by using smartphones. ZigBee module is expected to be used to allow these devices to perform data transmission and collection. Some additional machinery, control circuits, and sensors will be designed for doors and windows. For example, a motor and a control circuit are installed to control doors and windows, and ZigBee is used to control the power input and drive the motor. Antitheft sensors, such as infrared sensors or light sensors, are installed to monitor the objects. Home gateway can collect ZigBee information on doors and windows, and an interactive mechanism is designed to take effective remote control.

Semantic Internet of things is an open-world service ecosystem formed on the basis of the Semantic Web, Internet of things, and social networks. It forms and integrates physical space, cyberspace,and social space. The data friction problem is the key issue of the semantic Internet from theory to practice. In order to solve the problem of information interoperation and data friction,it is necessary to deal with the heterogeneity, dynamicity, and uncertainty of data in the semantic Internet of things. For this reason, this paper constructs a semantic object networking context aware system based on dynamic Bayesian network. The overall architecture of context awareness system based on semantic Internet of things is proposed. The hierarchical structure of the framework and the functions implemented by each layer are introduced in detail. The contextual awareness system based on semantic Internet of things is introduced into the overall design and implementation. The design and implementation process of each layer structure of the system is described in detail.

Classification method is a formula, logical description generalizing characteristics of objects of related area. Nowadays, billions of smart objects are immersed in the environment, sensing, interacting, and cooperating with each other to enable efficient services. When we think about IoT, classification is a major challenge particularly if our technology is international level applicable. So, this limitation needs clear and deep analysis of the existing classification matrixes and gives some future directions depending on the different researches in the area. The paper surveys the current state-of-art in the classification of IoT. First, we try to explain commonly existing classification matrixes;Second, cooperation of different methods defending on classification matrixes used. Then analyses challenges that IoT faced from classification angle and finally we give some direction for future IoT classification.

The Internet of things (IoT) represents a technologically optimistic future where objects will be connected to the internet and make intelligent collaborations with other objects anywhere, anytime. Although it makes appreciable development, there are still uncertainties about security concepts of its usage that is usually considered as a major concern in the design of IoT architectures. This paper presents a general survey of all the security issues in IoT along with an analysis of IoT architectures. The study defines security requirements and challenges that are common in IoT implementations and discusses security threats and related solutions on each layer of IoT architecture to make this technology secure and more widespread accordingly.

Internet of things (IoT) has become a prevalent topic in the world of technology. It helps billion of devices to connect to the internet so that they can exchange data with each other. Nowadays, the IoT can be applied in anything, from cellphones, coffee makers, cars, body sensors to smart surveillance, water distribution, energy management system, and environmental monitoring. However, the rapid growth of IoT has brought new and critical threats to the security and privacy of the users. Due to the millions of insecure IoT devices, an adversary can easily break into an application to make it unstable and steal sensitive user information and data. This paper provides an overview of different kinds of cybersecurity attacks against IoT devices as well as an analysis of IoT architecture. It then discusses the security solutions we can take to protect IoT devices against different kinds of security attacks. The main goal of this research is to enhance the development of IoT research by highlighting the different kinds of security challenges that IoT is facing nowadays, and the existing security solutions we can implement to make IoT devices more secure. In this study, we analyze the security solutions of IoT in three forms: secure authentication, secure communications, and application security to find suitable security solutions for protecting IoT devices.

The?convergence of the Internet, sensor networks, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems has ushered to the concept of Internet of things (IoT) which is capable of connecting daily things, making them smart through sensing, reasoning, and cooperating with other things. Further, RFID technology enables tracking of an object and assigning it a unique ID. IoT has the potential for a wide range of applications relating to healthcare, environment, transportation, cities… Moreover, the middleware is a basic component in the IoT architecture. It handles heterogeneity issues among IoT devices and provides a common framework for communication. More recently, the interest has focusing on developing publish/subscribe middleware systems for the IoT to allow asynchronous communication between the IoT devices. The scope of our paper is to study routing protocols for publish/subscribe schemes that include content and context-based routing. We propose an Energy-Efficient Content-Based Routing (EECBR) protocol for the IoT that minimizes the energy consumption. The proposed algorithm makes use of a virtual topology that is constructed in a centralized manner and then routes the events from the publishers to the intended interested subscribers in a distributed manner. EECBR has been simulated using Omnet++. The simulation results show that EECBR has a significant performance in term of the energy variance compared to the other schemes.

One of the buzzwords in the Information Technology is Internet of things (IoT). The future is Internet of things, which will transform the real world objects into intelligent virtual objects. The IoT aims to unify everything in our world under a common infrastructure, giving us not only control of things around us, but also keeping us informed of the state of the things. In Light of this, present study addresses IoT concepts through systematic review of scholarly research papers, corporate white papers, professional discussions with experts and online databases. Moreover this research article focuses on definitions, geneses, basic requirements, characteristics and aliases of Internet of things. The main objective of this paper is to provide an overview of Internet of things, architectures, and vital technologies and their usages in our daily life. However, this manuscript will give good comprehension for the new researchers, who want to do research in this field of Internet of things (Technological GOD) and facilitate knowledge accumulation in efficiently.

Home is a place for people to relax and to feel secure.However,there are some external factors,such as temperature and humidity,making living conditions uncomfortable.With the development of Internet of things(IoT)technology,the research issue of smart home becomes more important.The purpose of this study is to explore the application of IoT technology in indoor air monitoring and control,combined with the analysis of outdoor air quality data.This study develops a prototype system and tests and evaluates the performance of the system through user trial reports.The results show that(1)Air comparison of indoor and outdoor are practical for users,(2)Through the transmission of Bluetooth,restrictions on the practicality should be achieved through the WiFi remote monitoring effect,(3)It can receive multiple sensors at the same time,to achieve multiple indoor space monitoring effects,(4)It can be combined with other home appliances,if the integration of home appliances control will be more practical,(5)The current database is only a record,has not developed other applications,and in the future can develop predictive applications.We hope that through this study,we will provide some suggestions for the application of innovative technology in smart home.
