Purpose This study investigates university in-service English as a Foreign Language(EFL)teachers’perceptions of technology integration and the relevant factors that may affect their technology integration in the ***/Approach/Methods This multiple case study applies Teo's extended technology acceptance model(TAM)and the theory of teacher value beliefs associated with using technology to explore seven in-service EFL teachers’perceptions of effective technology integration and the challenges they *** This study suggests that(1)perceived usefulness and(2)teacher value beliefs are two important factors that influence in-service teachers’technology *** factors are(3)subjective norm,(4)facilitating conditions of the environment,and(5)cultural ***/Value This study contributes to the existing literature on in-service EFL teachers’technology integration and increases the applicability of the extended TAM in *** study also provides insights into these teachers’perceptions and practices of technology ***,insights gleaned from this study will guide school-level,local,and national educational policy groups on optimally supporting in-service teachers’future technology integration.

This study adds to the current literature on teacher technology integration with an investigation into five beginning teachers’technology use in the language classroom in their first two career-entry *** longitudinal interview study reveals that these teachers went through a developmental trajectory of technology use towards using it for more diversified instructional purposes and with a greater orientation towards student learning over the *** study also finds that the teachers’developing understanding of technology use intertwined with their growing teaching competency and *** further finds that school culture not only had a direct influence on their technology use but also moderated the influence of teaching competency and identity on the nature of this technology *** study concludes with suggestions for promoting research on the support needed for beginning teachers and the school culture in technology use.

The patterns and trends in formal higher education are *** world economy is moving towards a knowledge based economy,the needs and requirements of formal higher education are also *** are currently reevaluating their options of formalizing their growing education sector by drafting new education policy that aims to meet the demands of this futuristic knowledge based and technology driven economy with involvement of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning(AIML).Factors addressing core competence of employability,holistic development and attainment of skills are the new mantras of evolving modern day’s *** be in sync with such demand,requirement,and challenges,the Indian government took a significant step in drafting a New Education Policy popularly known as‘NEP 2020’.This paper makes an attempt to analyze the significant characteristics and dimensions of this NEP 2020 by undertaking a survey among stakeholders mostly students to arrive at certain key findings such as inducing centric,employable,skillful,and holistic development of students attaining such higher *** also points out some of the implementation issues which require lead time to be adjusted with the system.

In terms of demands of rice farming in the southern China, the information processing system and the yield measurement system that is installed in combine harvester, are designed and completed. Now the systems have been used in demonstration site in the Experiment Base of Shanghai Precision Agriculture. Based on the idea of spatial-oriented, object-oriented, user-oriented, the Farm Geographic Information System for precision farming of rice was developed, which is characterized by intelligence and visualized. The Decision-making Management System is integrated with rice growth model, expert model for rice cultivation. The DGPS, RS, GIS and intelligence sensors and computer technique were adopted in building the artificial intelligence system for measuring grain yield that is installed in combine harvester, so the combine harvester could provide the grain yield distribution map real-timely. The environmental and economic assessment shows that the precision rice farming applied in the demonstration site will benefit the society, economy and ecology greatly.

Purpose:We examine considerations regarding the positive contributions of evidence accountability and challenges that frustrate educators in gaining access to the needed product ***/Approach/Methods:We review the research literature on the multiple characteristics of evidence relative to consumer(practitioner)*** then examine,through a"case illustration"of an initiative in a large school district,a second challenge for evidence usage-conducting viable studies and interpreting outcomes from comprehensive interventions in complex educational ***:Despite attention being given to rigorous evidence,consumers report preferring peer recommendations and local pilot studies as *** our case illustration,we found that the availability of evidence from comprehensive formative evaluation studies was viewed by stakeholders as positively contributing to program implementation quality and sustainability over ***/Value:We use a real-world"case illustration"of a complex initiative in a large,diverse school district to illustrate how current policies and expectations regarding evidence support for educational programs is filtered through multiple agendas and personal needs of key ***,evaluators acquire nontraditional roles that go beyond routine execution of rigorous *** these factors,we offer recommendations for fostering more meaningful and objective interpretations and usage of evidence by local stakeholders.

Experienced College Instructors＇ Personal Epistemology in Teaching Social Studies and Their Perception of Using technology

Experience includes explicit and tacit knowledge. Explicit knowledge is from a person＇s ＂espoused theory＂ which is what a person believes and claims to follow. Tacit knowledge is from a person＇s ＂theory-in-use＂ which lies behind a person＇s action or behavior. The knowledge of teaching demonstrated in the classroom can be referred to as tacit knowledge or theory-in-use which is often the theory behind the practice of experienced teachers. Freema Elbaz （1983） points out that the ＂experience＂ is referred to as ＂practical knowledge＂, which ＂provides the basis for a conceptualization which sees the teacher as possessing valuable resources＂（6） and allows teachers to explicitly indicate and tacitly demonstrate their experience in teaching. The purpose of the study is to investigate how experienced college instructors apply their good teaching qualities to teaching social studies. The participants are three experienced college instructors teaching social studies. A concept map and a final reflection are used to elicit experienced instructors＇ personal epistemology in teaching social studies and their perception of technology use in the classroom. Each participant was asked to generate nine good teaching qualities and draw their concept map based on the nine qualities. Their concept maps reflected their theory-in-use and showed the relationship among their teaching qualities by displaying them together in a graphic form and how each teaching quality is connected to another. Participants＇ technology use was also explored to get their perception of the role of technology and their actual use of it in teaching. Then they were asked to validate their concept map data and reflect on their classroom teaching and use of technology. The findings show the three instructors taught under different schema and decided what their means and ends should be and how technology can help facilitate teaching and learning. Classification and integration of Storage and Transportation Engineering Technologies in Potato Producing Areas of China

Considering the development of potato （Solanum tuberosum） industry in China, the existing technologies of potato storage and transportation in the produc- ing area were analyzed through investigation on four main potato production areas. Unear classification was used to conduct the technology classification. According to the technical attributes and characteristics, the potato technologies of storage and transportation in producing area were classified with large classes, middle classes, small classes and subclasses, into the agricultural production area processing and storage engineering technology system, to reveal the structure and functions. Mean- while, the widely used technologies were integrated and summarized into 5 principal technology integration programs, which could be used for the technology integration of the new management subjects such as planting professional cooperatives, family farms, enterprises and so on.
