Chinese higher education has entered a new era of popularization, that is, a transition from Elite to Mass Higher Education. The educational purpose gradually has changed from society-centered to a combination of society-centered and individual-centered. So it is a very important and urgent issue to transform the traditional teaching management model in Chinese universities and colleges. The author of this paper reviews two core value orientation of teaching management model;analyses the rationalities and limitations of them from a viewpoint of "Human Nature Hypothesis" and makes a discussion on value orientation of transformation of teaching management model based on Scientific Humanism which is a fusion of Scientism and Humanism.
