In order to study the combustion characteristics of tar in biomass gasifier inner wall and gasification gas,“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”,“tobacco stem tar inside furnace”and“tobacco stem tar out-of-furnace”were subjected to thermogravimetric experiments,and the combustion characteristics and kinetic characteristics were *** result shows that“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”has the highest value and“tobacco stem tar out-of-furnace”is has the lowest value on ignition characteristics,combustion characteristics and combustible stability;“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”has the lowest value and“tobacco stem tar outside furnace”has the highest value on burnout characteristics;“tobacco stem tar outside furnace”has the highest value and“tobacco stem tar inside furnace”has the lowest value on integrated combustion characteristics.

为探讨叶酸添加对tar DNA结合蛋白43(TDP-43)毒性导致的肌萎缩性侧索硬化症(amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,ALS)治疗方面产生的作用,本文选用转入人TDP-43的转基因秀丽隐杆线虫作为受试生物,探究不同浓度叶酸(0.01 mmol/L、0.025 mmol/L、0.05 mmol/L)干预对线虫的寿命、生殖能力、瘫痪率、头部摆动频率、捕食能力与学习记忆能力的影响。结果显示,与对照组相比,0.025mmol/L组和0.05mmol/L组线虫寿命分别提高了22.48%和11.92%;0.025 mmol/L组线虫的生殖能力增加了25.26%;0.01mmol/L组和0.025 mmol/L组线虫的瘫痪率分别降低了20.19%与37.62%;0.025 mmol/L组线虫头部摆动频率在叶酸干预后的第2、4、6 d分别提高了17.14%、32.88%和39.18%;三个干预组线虫的捕食能力分别提高了24.58%、60.30%和15.85%,学习记忆能力也分别提高了36.84%、57.89%和31.58%,上述结果均具有统计学差异(p<0.05)。而且,与0.01 mmol/L组和0.05 mmol/L组比较,0.025 mmol/L组线虫的瘫痪率显著下降,其他指标均显著增加,差异有统计学意义(p<0.05)。以上结果表明,叶酸添加改善了ALS线虫中h TDP-43蛋白引起的毒性效应,并且0.025 mmol/L浓度的叶酸可能是ALS线虫最佳的干预剂量。

This paper describes the influences of active metal, promoter and chelating agent on the properties of hydro-desulfuri-zationcatalyst. The use of chelating agent, especially its combination with common promoters e.g., EDTA-P, has an important meaning to develop highly active catalyst, specifically to unify the active metal dispersion degree and sulfurization degree in some extent, however, they are contradictory in conventional cognition. In the aspect of carriers, composition and nanometer carriers have more excellent performances in acidity, pores structureand metal-carrier interaction than common carriers, and are the developing trend in the future and should be a breakthrough mainly in preparation methods. We also pointed out the decisive factors to improve the activity of the catalyst: higher sulfurization degree of active metal oxide and higher aspect ratios of active phase crystal morphology, and the proper acidity and pores structure can be considered the key factors for deep desulfurization whose mainly obstacle is the desulfurization of large rigid molecules, e.g., dibenzothiophene and 4, 6-dimethyl substituted dibenzothiophene. Based on above that, We discussed the suitable hydrodesulfurization (HDS) catalyst for coal tar, aiming at providing some theoretical guidance for the “design” of coal tar HDS catalyst.

Numerical Simulation of Partial Combustion for Biomass tar Elimination in Two-Stage Gasifier

Biomass tar is an obstacle in biomass gasification. Partial combustion is a potential method for tar elimination. To better study the tar conversion conditions and design reasonable partial combustion reactor, 2D/3D throat models are establish to calculate the tar reduction during partial combustion using numerical method. Different number of nozzles, injection directions and injection velocities were investigated. SIMPLE algorithm was used in this calculation. The results indicated that the best performance of partial combustion was obtained when ER (equivalent ratio) = 0.34. A performance of 3 nozzles, perpendicular injection and 20 m/s injection velocity could reach lowest tar content of 3.09 wt%.

A Raoult’s law-based screening-level assessment methodology was developed to calculate the carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks from ingestion of coal tar-contaminated water and it was applied to ten coal tars obtained from sites in the eastern United States. This approach provides a simple risk screening based on the conservative assumptions of Tier 1 in both the ASTM RBCA methodology and the USEPA Soil Screening Guidance. Results across the ten tars exhibited similar patterns, even though the coal tars had significantly different chemical compositions, and in all cases the screening-level risks were above the USEPA thresholds. There was no appreciable difference in the total risks when using either the current USEPA 1993 PAH risk assessment guidance or the proposed 2010 guidance. Benzene, while present at low concentrations within the coal tars, posed the dominant risk and strong correlations were observed with the benzene mole fraction.
