Globally swine influenza is one of the most important diseases of the pig industry, with various subtypes of swine influenza virus co-circulating in the field. swine influenza can not only cause large economic losses for the pig industry but can also lead to epidemics or pandemics in the human population. We provide an overview of the pathogenic characteristics of the disease, diagnosis, risk factors for the occurrence on pig farms, impact on pigs and humans and methods to control it. This review is designed to promote understanding of the epidemiology of swine influenza which will benefit the control of the disease in both pigs and humans.

Identification and Treatment of swine influenza and Common Cold in Veterinary Clinic

[Objective] The paper was to investigate the differentiation and treatment of swine influenza and common cold in veterinary clinic.[Method] The clinical data of diseased pigs from May 2017 to May 2018 were analyzed retrospectively to explore the clinical treatment methods for swine influenza and common cold, and the effectiveness and accuracy of clinical diagnosis was further improved. [Result] Through in-depth analysis of test results, we obtained a comprehensive understanding of the main causes of swine influenza and common cold, and found that the causes in-cluded improper breeding management of pigs, nutrition of pigs and lack of immunity of newborn pigs. [Conclusion] Analysis of the causes of swine influenza and common cold and suggestion of targeted clinical treatment measures will reduce the incidence of swine disease, and promote the vet-erinary clinical treatment effect of swine influenza and common cold.

swine influenza （SI） is an acute, febrile, highly contagious, respiratory infectious disease caused by swine influenza virus （SIV）, which is a common disease in intensive pig farms, and prevalent throughout the world. Disease in affected pigs was characterized by burst, high fever, rapid epidemic spread. The mortality of SI with secondary or mixed infection could be increased. Moreover, more researches showed that the outbreaks of human influenza are associated with the outbreak of swine influenza, and there are a striking parallel nature and relevance. In the present article, the pathogen, epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and public health aspects were elaborated, so as to provide a reference for scientific prevention and treatment of SI.

Research on Component Law of Chinese Patent Medicine for Anti-influenza and Development of New Recipes for Anti-influenza by Unsupervised Data Mining Methods

Objective:To analyze the component law of Chinese patent medicines for anti-influenza and develop new prescriptions for anti-influenza by unsupervised data mining methods. Methods: Chinese patent medicine recipes for anti-influenza were collected and recorded in the database, and then the correlation coefficient between herbs, core combinations of herbs and new prescriptions were analyzed by using modified mutual information, complex system entropy cluster and unsupervised hierarchical clustering, respectively. Results: Based on analysis of 126 Chinese patent medicine recipes, the frequency of each herb occurrence in these recipes, 54 frequently-used herb pairs, 34 core combinations were determined, and 4 new recipes for influenza were developed. Conclusion: Unsupervised data mining methods are able to mine the component law quickly and develop new prescriptions.

As pigs are susceptible to infection with both avian and human influenza A-viruses,they have been proposed to be an intermediate host for the adaptation of avian influenza viruses to *** April 2006,a disease caused by highly pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV)occurred in several pig farms and subsequently overwhelmed almost half of China with more than 2,000,000 cases of pig *** we report a case in which four swine H9N2 influenza viruses were isolated from pigs infected by highly pathogenic PRRSVs in Guangxi province in China. All the eight gene segments of the four swine H9N2 viruses arc highly homologous to A/Pigeon/Nanchang/2-0461/00 (H9N2)or A/Wild Duck/Nanchang/2-0480100(H9N2).Phylogenetic analyses of eight genes show that the swine H9N2 influenza viruses arc of avian origin and may be the descendants of A/Duck/Hong Kong/Y280/97-like *** analysis of the HA gene indicates that our H9N2 isolates might have high-affinity binding to the a2,6-NeuAcGal receptor found in human *** conclusion,our finding provides further evidence about the interspccies transmission of avian influenza viruses to pigs and emphasizes the importance of reinforcing swine influenza virus surveillance,especially after the emergence of highly pathogenic PRRSVs in pigs in China.

influenza A viruses of subtype H1N1 have been reported widely in pigs in China,associated with clinical *** mainly include classical swine H1N1,avian-like H1N1,and human-like H1N1 *** this study,we reported a novel triple-reassortant H1N1 virus（A/swine/Guangdong/1/2010）containing genes from the classical swine（NP,NS）,human（PB1）and avian（HA,NA,M,PB2,PA）lineages,which was for the first time reported in ***,phylogenetic analysis further confirmed that five genes segments（NS,NP,PB2,PB1,PA）of the isolate were closely related to the novel reassortant H1N2 viruses isolated in 2006 in China,while the other three（HA,NA,M）were closely related to avian-like H1N1 viruses in *** isolation of triple-reassortant H1N1 influenza virus provides further evidence that pigs serve as emergence hosts or "mixing vessels",and swine influenza virus surveillance in China should be given a high priority.
