Lithium-ion battery(LIB)is the key technology for climate change *** sustainability of LIB supply chain has caused widespread concern since the material utilization efficiency of LIB supply chain has not been well *** study aims to fill this research gap by conducting a dynamic material flow analysis of lithium in China from 2015 to *** indicate that within the temporal boundary,lithium flow and in-use stock grew significantly in China due to the rapid development of the EV market,with lithium flow in domestic production of basic chemicals increasing by 614%to 100 kt,end-use consumption increasing by 160%to 35 kt,and in-use stock increasing by 62%to 195 *** has been a net importer of lithium,of which cumulative imports and exports were 343 kt and 169 kt,*** addition,103 kt of lithium was converted to inventories or was lost during the processing from 2015 to *** optimizing inventory and processing,developing substitutes for lithium for non-battery applications,and improving lithium recycling,China's net import dependency of lithium could be reduced from 27%-86%to 0%-16%.Our study demonstrates that it is urgent to improve material utilization efficiency so that the lithium resource supply can be secured.

The ongoing stability of supply chains faces significant challenges from trade protectionism,anti-globalization trends,and the COVID-19 *** remain resilient in this dynamic market environment,supply chains must evolve through iterative upgrades and transition to a higher level of sustainability,a process termed“step development.”The current literature,however,offers limited insights into achieving such step development in supply chain sustainability and its critical supporting *** study,grounded in theory,involved interviews with representatives from eight diverse Chinese *** introduce a model delineating supporting factors and a roadmap for Sustainable Step Development of supply chains(SSDSC).Our findings highlight three pivotal categories of support for SSDSC:institutional,technological,and social ***,we observed that external influences in these categories positively modulate their internal *** study identifies industrial technology,digital intelligence technology,corporate responsibility,and stakeholder needs as key elements in this *** conclude by offering theoretical and practical recommendations to foster SSDSC.

As global supply chains become increasingly lengthy and complex, human rights due diligence in the supply chain is becoming a controversial focal point in the accountability of multinational corporations. In recent years, legislative practices in the field of human rights due diligence have shown a trend from voluntary soft law toward mandatory hard law, and from corporate due diligence for their own operations towards extended due diligence for the entire supply chain. However, there is a divergence in national practices regarding the extent to which human rights due diligence should extend along the supply chain and the manner in which it should be incorporated into domestic legal policies. International soft law interpretations surrounding the boundaries of human rights due diligence in the supply chain are decentralized, posing risks of interpretation diversification, boundary blurring, and procedural formalization, as well as risks of misinterpretation and misuse. Meanwhile, some countries and regions are vigorously promoting mandatory legislation on human rights due diligence in the supply chain, which has profound implications for the stability of global supply chains and the international economic and trade order. Against this backdrop, it is crucial to explore the reasonable boundaries of human rights due diligence in the supply chain. Instead of applying a one-size-fits-all approach,the rationality of legal factors and the complexity of practical factors should be considered, applying context-specific measures based on the varying degrees of linkage between companies and negative human rights impacts in the supply chain. Cause-related marketing(CRM),as an organic combination of marketing and corporate social responsibility(CSR),has been widely used in the supply ***,the existing literature rarely studies the CRM strategy the in the supply *** paper explores the pricing decisions and CRM strategy of supply chain members by examining a supply chain system consisting of a manufacturer and a retailer,where the manufacturer produces two quality differentiated *** developing a Stackelberg model for three scenarios,including the No CRM strategy,CRM strategy for the high-quality product,and CRM strategy for the low-quality product,this paper finds that the CRM strategy will result in higher wholesale and sales prices for the cause-related *** addition,consumers’pro-sociality and the degree of product quality differentiation are critical to the manufacturer’s choice of CRM *** the quality difference differs significantly,the manufacturer should implement CRM for the high-quality product in a market with low consumer pro-sociality and for the low-quality product in a market with high consumer pro-sociality;when the product quality difference is slight,the manufacturer should choose to implement CRM for the low-quality product regardless of consumer’s ***,the model is extended to that the retailer implements the CRM strategy and a retailer-led supply *** results indicate that CRM strategy in the supply chain is not influenced by the implementing entity or the supply chain leader.

In order to explore the potential of profit margin improvement,a novel three-scale integrated optimization model of furnace simulation,cyclic scheduling,and supply chain of ethylene plants is proposed and evaluated.A decoupling strategy is proposed for the solution of the three-scale model,which uses our previously proposed reactor scale model for operation optimization and then transfers the obtained results as a parameter table in the joint MILP optimization of plant-supply chain scale for cyclic *** optimization framework simplifies the fundamental mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP)into several sub-models,and improves the interpretability and *** the evaluation of an industrial case,a profit increase at a percentage of 3.25%is attained in optimization compared to the practical *** sensitivity analysis is carried out for strategy evolving study when price policy,supply chain,and production requirement parameters are *** results could provide useful suggestions for petrochemical enterprises on thermal cracking production.

This paper studies the cooperative mechanism for a three-echelon supply chain with remanufacturing outsourcing comparing a supplier,a manufacturer,and a third-party remanufacturer,wherein we take the relative fairness concerns into *** Stackelberg game theory is introduced to analyze the best values for the supply chain and each *** bargaining solution is used as the relative fairness-concerned reference to discuss the corresponding optimal solutions of these *** determining and comparing the equilibrium solutions across the five models,we discover that given the Nash bargaining fairness-concerned behavior,the system profits in the completely decentralized and three cooperative scenarios are lower than they are for products in the completely centralized decision *** results show that in the centralized channel,the optimal profit and market demand in the three-echelon supply chain are ***,it turns out that a cooperative mechanism can bring great benefits to its performance.

This article considers a vendor-buyer supply chain model where a single vendor produces a single product and markets it through two competitive buyers to a group of *** customer demand for the product depends on the selling price,green level and warranty period of the *** deliveries from the vendor are scheduled at a fixed time interval wherein the subsequent shipments appear when each of the buyer’s inventories from the former delivery has just been cleared out.A hybrid greening cost and revenue sharing(HGRS)contract is introduced,which provides more profit to individual members than their decentralised *** numerical study reveals that,under the HGRS contract,customers are influenced to buy a more reliable product at a reasonable price with a higher green level.A sensitivity analysis is also carried out to examine the impact of key model parameters on the optimal results.
