The Investigation of Relationship between Religious Attitudes and Attachment styles among Iranian Students

During recent years, A new tendency has appeared among psychologists to pay more attention to the influence of family, cultural and social factors on the human personality and his internal needs. This tendency is in favor of more attention to religion for treatment of mental health, thought and mental disorders. The type of researches: this research is a correlation and post-event (causative) which has done with the purpose of studying the relationship between religious attitudes with attachment styles for the students. So a sample of 60 students of humanitarian sciences majors at the Islamic Azad University of Neyshabour randomly selected classical (according to the results of attachment style inventory, completed by 150 students). The religious attitudes of subjects were tested by Alport religious orientation inventory and their attachment style by Shiver and Hezen’s adult attachment test and were tested according to the results of descriptive and inferential statistics methods. The results of research indicated that for the subjects which have safe attachment style, their religious attitudes are internal. For the subjects which have unsafe attachment style (evidential, ambivalent), their religious attitudes are external. And also the subjects with ambivalent unsafe attachment style have internal religious attitudes in comparison with evidential unsafe attached persons. So, it can be said person’s attachment style is affected by their religious attitudes. As related to the attained results and comparing them with the results of past researches, it can be said that people with internal religious orientation and safe attached persons have confidence in others (especially to themselves) because of some personal characteristics. So, there is no reason for fear or for connivance of what they want and naturally will have an attitude which is needless to show pretension and hypocrisy. The Relationship of Learning Strategies and styles on Language Learning

This study investigates the relationship of learning strategies and styles on language learning and shows how different learning materials according to students＇ adoptions of them. And it especially focuses on analyzing and understanding how M.I. （Multiple Intelligences）, as a strategy, influence on language learning. For research method, this study adopts the observations of the classroom teachings and interviews with the students. As a result, the findings show that first, there are not enough clear explanation on relationship of strategies and styles, but overall, certain factors as verbal-linguistic and interpersonal intelligences help language learners improve their language ability. Second, the use of learning strategies has a positive effect on language learning. Third, the use of learning strategies can be trained and encouraged in language classrooms. Fourth, the appropriate learning materials should be selected according to learners＇ strategies and styles so that learning is more effective and successful. Finally, the implications of these findings are discussed.

Charlotte Bronte is regarded as one of the most excellent English female novelists in Victorian age. Charlotte inevitably criticized certain aspects of the society and advocated her ideal mode of freedom, equality, happiness. It’s also noted that Romantic Movement came to an end, but romantic elements continued to be found in the works of the novelists of the Victorian age. The ideas of Jane Eyre were created in a special period. This paper tries to deal with Charlotte Bronte as a critical realistic novelist, her characterization, writing style, and her use of symbolism in the novel of Jane Eyre.

Learning styles among Non-Native Speakers:A Comparative Study of Chinese and Iranian EFL Learners’ Perceptual Learning styles

The purpose of this study is to investigate and compare Iranian and Chinese EFL learners’ perceptual learning styles with their age, gender, and years of study *** total sample of the subjects including 331 EFL learners(46. 5 % Chinese and 53. 5 % Iranian), filled the Perceptual Learning Style Preference Questionnaire(PLSPQ). Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis showed that Iranian EFL learners are more visual and auditory, while Chinese EFL learners prefer tactile and kinesthetic styles. The study results regarding ages and degrees( Masters and Bachelors) revealed that older learners and students of a Master degree prefer more perceptual learning styles. Also, there is no significant difference of scores of the scale found between females and males. At the end some implication is considered.

Attachment styles are Related to ERPs Elicited to Angry Faces in an Oddball Paradigm

Attachment theory suggests that anxious attachment is associated with hypervigilance to threatening social stimuli, and avoidant attachment with avoidance or suppression of processing such stimuli. Twenty-five students viewed angry, fearful and neutral female faces in four visual oddball tasks, and completed the Attachment Style Questionnaire, the Autonomy-Connectedness Scale, and Anxiety and Depression subscales of the Symptom Checklist-90. When the oddballs were angry faces in a background of neutral frequents, we found higher levels of autonomy and secure attachment to be related to larger N100 and smaller P300 amplitudes;higher levels of anxious attachment were, on the contrary, associated with smaller N100 and larger P300 amplitudes. Variation in attachment is related to approaching, or withdrawing from threatening stimuli, and ERP-techniques add to our understanding of how the attachment system actually works.

The Effect of Youth Coaching styles on “Winner, Non-Winner” and “Loser” Scripts in Young Athletes

Purpose and Motivation: Youth coaches continue to be among the most important influences in the lives of children and adolescents. This article looks at four specific youth coaching styles and how three of the coaching approaches evoke poor coping skills and weaken resiliency behaviors in children and adolescents. Problem: The authors present an overview of how youth coaching styles contribute to unconscious powerful Transactional Analysis (TA) life scripts that can negatively impact children into adulthood. The authors examine four unique coaching styles and their effect on the Winner, Loser, and Non-Winner life scripts found in the Transactional Analysis literature. Methods: While the literature is quite limited on this topic, themes and inferences were drawn from previously published professional literature. Results: Findings reflect how specific coaching styles may evoke winner, loser and non-winner scripts in young athletes, and that these scripts can influence children later in life. Conclusion: The authors recommend using the positive-structured coaching style in youth sports to promote resiliency, fun, and improved coping skills in youth playing sports.

ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURAL styles OF THE BASIN-RANGE SYSTEMS IN THE CENTRAL CHINA OROGENIC CHAIN OF YANGTZE VALLEY AND THE DYNAMIC MECHANISM

Basin and orogenic belt belong to the same tectonic system which has close connections in spatial distribution and dynamic *** styles analysis of basin－ range system， not only may rebuild basin－ range coupling process and landscape evolution of orogenic belt and its adjacent basin， but also become the foundation in exploring how orogenesis controls landform,climate,resources,energy and environment *** the light of geodynamic mechanism,three main types of basin－ range system may be classified,namely,stretch,compression and strike－ *** combination with their geotectonic settings and plate movement phases, a comprehensive classification scheme may be educed for structural styles of basin－ range *** disasters and geo－ ecological environment in the Yangtze Valley have been restricted and impressed by crustal movement and Qinling－ Dabie *** since the Mesozoic and *** terms of collocating relation and contacting basin prototype and orogenic belt around the basin for cause of formation, typical structural styles of basin－ range system on the central orogenic chain within the Yangtze Valley consist of coupling Tongbo－ Dabie orogenic belt and Jianghan－ Dongtin fault basin on the northern margin of the central Yangtze landmass， and coupling Qinling－ Daba mountain margin thrust－ faulted orogenic belt and Sichuan foreland basin on the northern margin of upper－ Yangtze *** paper analyzes evolutionary features of two typical structural styles of basin－ range system during syn－ orogenic, late－ orogenic and post－ orogenic stages,and probes into their dynamic *** is emphasized that,in different stages of basin－ range system of different properties and basin－ mountain transformation process,different structural styles may be formed;and different associations of structural styles can form different types of natural disasters complex and eco－ environment systems.

Optimizing the Leadership styles and Establishing a New Teacher-Student Relationship

There're mainly two kinds of behaviors-Task Behaviors(TBs) and Relationship Behaviors(RBs) among the school leadership styles. TBs contribute to achieving the goals, while RBs help to promote the interpersonal relationships. However, different perceptions of social values and morals will have a great influence on establishing the good leader-teacher relationship and the teacher-student relationship, which is also no exception for the leadership styles. Thus, optimizing the leadership styles will enhance the leader-teacher relationship, and also benefit the teacher-student relationship.

An Empirical Study on Learning styles of Ethnic Minorities' Third Language Learners

On Gender Differences in Language Learning styles

Language learning style, serving as one of the elements of individual differences in foreign language learning, has substantial significance of research for EFL teaching. Males' and females' language learning styles are quite different. This paper illustrates the gender differences in language learning styles from sensory, cognitive and personality perspectives, and offers some suggestions for EFL teaching.
