The peristaltic flow of a heated Jeffrey fluid inside a duct with an elliptic cross-section is studied.A thorough heat transfer mechanism is interpreted by analyzing the viscous effects in the energy equation.The governing mathematical equations give dimensionless partial differential equations after simplification.The final simplified form of the mathematical equations is evaluated with respect to the relevant boundary conditions,and the exact solution is attained.The results are further illustrated by graphs,and the distinct aspects of peristaltic flow phenomena are discussed.

streamline-adjustment-assisted heterogeneous combination flooding is a new technology for enhanced oil recovery for post-polymer-flooded reservoirs.In this work,we first carried out a series of 2D visualization experiments for different chemical flooding scenarios after polymer flooding.Then,we explored the synergistic mechanisms of streamline-adjustment-assisted heterogeneous combination flooding for enhanced oil recovery and the contribution of each component.Test results show that for single heterogeneous combination flooding,the residual oil in the main streamline area after polymer flooding is ready to be driven,but it is difficult to be recovered in the non-main streamline area.Due to the effect of drainage and synergism,the streamline-adjustment-assisted heterogeneous combination flooding diverts the injected chemical agent from the main streamline area to the non-main streamline area,which consequently expands the active area of chemical flooding.Based on the results from the single-factor contribution of the quantitative analysis,the contribution of temporary plugging and profile control of branched preformed particle gels ranks in the first place and followed by the polymer profile control and the effect of streamline adjustment.On the contrary,the surfactant contributes the least to enhance the efficiency of oil displacement.

For the case of carbonate reservoir water flooding development, the flow field identification method based on streamline modeling result was proposed. The Ocean for Petrel platform was used to build the plug-in that exported the streamline data, and the subsequent data was processed and clustered through Python programming, to display the flow field with different water flooding efficiencies at different time in the reservoir. We used density peak clustering as primary streamline cluster algorithm, and Silhouette algorithm as the cluster validation algorithm to select reasonable cluster number, and the results of different clustering algorithms were compared. The results showed that the density peak clustering algorithm could provide better identified capacity and higher Silhouette coefficient than K-means, hierachical clustering and spectral clustering algorithms when clustering coefficients are the same. Based on the results of streamline clustering method, the reservoir engineers can easily identify the flow area with quantification treatment, the inefficient water injection channels and area with developing potential in reservoirs can be identified. Meanwhile, streamlines between the same injector and producer can be subdivided to describe driving capacity distribution in water phase, providing useful information for the decision making of water flooding optimization, well pattern adjustment and deep profile modification.

Visualizing 2-D vector fields using streamlines is one popular flow visualization technique. Standard streamline generation algorithms compute the density of streamlines across the domain, detect features, and employ customized rules to emphasize features. In this process, feature characterization and visual clarity are heavily considered. Simultaneously preserving the temporal coherence for time-varying vector fields, however remains a challenge. In this paper, we present a coherent and feature-aware streamline generation algorithm by employing a feature-guided streamline seeding technique and a coherent streamline placing scheme. For each frame, a feature map is first computed with critical points or the Finite-Time Lyapunov Exponent （FTLE） approach, and is used to initialize a set of seeds by leveraging the Poisson Disk distribution. These seeds are further optimized by using a deformation-driven moving mesh method. To preserve the temporal coherence, the streamlines generated from the seeds are individually checked subject to their correspondences to the ones in the previous frame. Subsequently, additional streamlines are sequentially inserted in low-density regions. We demonstrate our algorithm on both Computation Fluid Dynamics （CFD） and non-CFD datasets, and compare it with the recent literature

目的探讨单中心血流导向装置Surpass streamline治疗未破裂动脉瘤的有效性和安全性。方法回顾性分析2020年12月至2022年8月珠海市人民医院脑血管病诊疗中心采用Surpass streamline治疗39例未破裂动脉瘤患者的临床资料。39例患者共45个动脉瘤,其中位于眼段23个、交通段6个、海绵窦段5个、床突段4个、V4段4个、岩段2个、颈段1个。结果39例患者植入39枚Surpass streamline,支架释放成功率100%,38例(97.4%)释放效果满意,1例因贴壁不良需桥接支架,38个动脉瘤于术后(3.8±1.4)个月内进行首次随访,OKM分级D级30个(78.9%)、C级7个(18.4%)、B级1个(2.7%),可见6例(18.8%)支架再狭窄(4例轻度,2例中度),但均无明显血流受限。15例患者共16个动脉瘤于术后(12.1±2.3)个月随访,OKM分级D级15个(93.8%),其中2例首次随访再狭窄(1例轻度,1例中度)患者于术后1年复查时,原狭窄基本完全恢复,管腔显示良好。结论Surpass streamline治疗未破裂动脉瘤的安全性及有效性良好,支架再狭窄一般不影响血流及动脉瘤的愈合,且有一定的自限性,短期及中期随访较满意,仍有待进一步大样本、多中心、长期的随访研究验证。

In this article, we use streamline diffusion method for the linear second order hyperbolic initial-boundary value problem. More specifically, we prove a posteriori error estimates for this method for the linear wave equation. We observe that this error estimates make finite element method increasingly powerful rather than other methods.

As a highly efficient production method, the technique of multi-branch horizontal well is widely used in low permeability reservoirs, heavy oil reservoirs, shallow layer reservoirs and multi-layer reservoirs, because it can significantly improve the productivity of a single well, inhibit coning and enhance oil recovery. Study on sweep efficiency and parameters optimization of multi-branch horizontal well is at the leading edge of research. Therefore, the study is important for enhancing oil recovery and integral exploitation benefit of oil fields. In many applications, streamline simulation shows particular advantages over finite-difference simulation. With the advantages of streamline simulation such as its ability to display paths of fluid flow and acceleration factor in simulation, the flooding process is more visual. The communication between wells and flooding area has been represented appropriately. This method has been applied to the XS9 reservoir in Daqing Oilfield. The production history of this reservoir is about 10 years. The reservoir is maintained above bubble point so that the simulation meets the slight compressibility assumption. New horizontal wells are drilled following this rule.
