We numerically analyze the dynamic behavior of Bose–Einstein condensate(BEC)in a one-dimensional disordered potential before it completely loses spatial quantum *** find that both the disorder statistics and the atom interactions produce remarkable effects on *** also find that the single phase of the initial condensate is broken into many small pieces while the system approaches localization,showing a counter-intuitive step-wise phase but not a thoroughly randomized *** the condensates as a whole show less flow and expansion,the currents between adjacent phase steps retain strong time *** we show explicitly that the localization of a finite size Bose–Einstein condensate is a dynamic equilibrium state.

For compressible two-phase displacement problem, a kind of characteristic finite difference fractional steps schemes is put forward and thick and thin grids are used to form a complete set. Some techniques, such as piecewise biquadratic interpolation, of calculus of variations, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates are adopted. Optimal order estimates in L^2 norm are derived to determine the error in the approximate solution.

Two steps foaming (TSF) technique was proposed to prepare shaped Al alloy foam. Based on the thermal decomposition kinetics equation of titanium hydride, the relationship be-tween two steps thermal decomposition kinetics of titanium hydride and two steps foaming Al alloy melt was studied. Two steps thermal decomposition curve of titanium hydride under in-creasing and constant temperature was calculated respectively. The hydrogen mass needed in the second foaming step was also calculated. Results showed that the hydrogen mass of the second thermal decomposition of titanium hydride is enough for the second foaming step in the condition of as-received Al melt foaming. Experimental and theoretical results indicate that two steps foaming technique can be used to prepare Al alloy foam with high porosity, shaped com-ponents and sandwich with Al alloy foam core.

For combinatorial system of multilayer dynamics of fluids in porous media, the second order and first order upwind finite difference fractional steps schemes applicable to parallel arithmetic are put forward and two-dimensional and three-dimensional schemes are used to form a complete set. Some techniques, such as implicit-explicit difference scheme, calculus of variations, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates, are adopted. Optimal order estimates in L 2 norm are derived to determine the error in the second order approximate solution. This method has already been applied to the numerical simulation of migration-accumulation of oil resources.
