COVID-19 status quo:Emphasis on gastrointestinal and liver manifestations

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has caused one of the worst public health crises in modern *** though severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 primarily affects the respiratory tract,gastrointestinal manifestations are well described in *** review will discuss the epidemiology,virology,manifestations,immunosuppressant states,and lessons learned from ***:At the time of writing,COVID-19 had infected more than 111 million people and caused over 2.5 million deaths *** medical comorbidities including obesity,pre-existing liver condition and the use of proton pump inhibitor have been described as risk factor for severe ***-19 most frequently causes diarrhea(12.4%),nausea/vomiting(9%)and elevation in liver enzymes(15%-20%).The current data does not suggest that patients on immunomodulators have a significantly increased risk of mortality from *** current guidelines from American Gastroenterological Association and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases do not recommend pre-emptive changes in patients on immunosuppression if the patients have not been infected with *** and relevance:The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a change in structure and shape of gastroenterology departmental *** should be performed only when necessary and with strict protective *** consultations in the form of telehealth services and home drug deliveries have revolutionized the field.

Past, status quo and Future of China’s Territorial Planning

Since 1949, China has witnessed four development stages of territorial planning. (1) In the 1950s the territorial planning got its start. (2) From the 1960s to 1970s territorial planning declined. (3) From, the 1980s to 1990s the first major tide of territorial planning began. (4) From the end of the 1990s to recent times the new round of territorial planning is under deliberation. Since 1998, the Ministry of Land and Resources has carried out some related work, especially in organizing pilot projects, and early research on the new round of national territorial planning. According to the need for economic and social development and the current conditions in China, it is the appropriate for China to carry out the new round of territorial planning. However, the government should correctly consider the correlations between territorial planning and other plannings, and take appropriate development action, e.g. stressing main points for the basis of overall planning, building a territorial planning system that coordinate with national conditions, strengthening research on various supportive measures of territorial planning, summarizing and upgrading experiences obtained in pilot projects, strengthening international exchange and training talented personnel.

Despite theoretical advances in the realm of TEFL and rounds of nationwide education reform in China in the past two decades,the status quo of TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) in some senior high schools remains *** article,by examining how utilitarianism in education shapes (spoils,to be more exact) English teaching and learning in a county senior high school in Anhui,an eastern province in China,and how it hinders implementation of quality education,appeals to teachers as individuals for personal efforts to help change the status quo in such schools,or at least to prevent it from worsening.

The status quo and prospect of biomass power generation in China

Facing the pressure of fossil energy exhaustion and environment pollution, people begin to search for clean and renewable energy to partly substitute fossil energy and realize sustainable development. As the fourth type of energy, biomass energy has many advantages: wide distribution, large quantity, being renewable, clean, storable and transportable and so on. By adopting thermo-chemical and biochemical technologies, biomass energy can be converted to high quality solid, liquid and gaseous energy products, and provide convenient heat and power energy for human being’s production and daily life. This paper presented the status quo of biomass power generation industry in China and also introduced briefly the future development models.

This study investigated the status quo and further improvement needs of foreign language teachers’teaching competence in curriculum-based ideological education(CIE)in Xinjiang colleges and *** results show that the teachers’teaching competence in CIE is generally good,with the“cultivating quality”being the highest and the“scientific research quality”the lowest;there still exist several problems,such as teachers’lack of theoretical knowledge in CIE,lack of teaching resources,and insufficient abilities in teaching design and *** is hoped that with the support and efforts from university administrations,teachers can improve their teaching competence in CIE through various approaches adopted and multiple measures taken,thus optimizing their teaching effectiveness,promoting the construction of CIE in Xinjiang colleges and universities in the new era,and contributing to Xinjiang’s high-quality development.

Tracing the Political Origins of The Hezbollah’s Resistance Discourse:From Revisionism to status quo

Discourses are politically-oriented realities that explain their selective and instrumental *** means discourses are mostly(re)produced by the political actors,and they conform to the changing agendas of these *** trajectory of the resistance discourse,which reflects Hezbollah’s ideological(religious)approach,seems to confirm this generalisation owing to its noticeable association with Hezbollah’s political motivations over *** allegedly revisionist discourse has two intertwined dimensions:One dimension regards Hezbollah’s position towards internal affairs,while the other concerns its external *** often claimed to champion the revisionist camp in these two realms,albeit its pro-status quo policies unfolded during the Syrian civil war and the recent Lebanese *** two events further manifested the positioned nature of the resistance *** this context,this article will attempt to illustrate the political nature of the resistance discourse by disputing its long-held revisionist *** empirically support our argument,the status-quo-based factors behind the regular practice of the resistance discourse during the Syrian civil war and the Lebanese protests will be deeply investigated.
