In order to treat scoliosis, a thermo-mechanical behavior study of shape memory alloy bone staple has been proposed. A pre-stretched shape-memory-alloy bone staple, which has been heated above the transition temperature, provides greater compressive force upon insertion between two vertebrae and allows the control of idiopathic scoliosis development. Until now, the optimal design has not been reached due to the lack of appropriate design tools for shape memory alloy devices. In this paper, a shape memory alloy bone staple model is proposed by developing a user subroutine UMAT based on Boyd et al. unified thermodynamic shape memory alloy constitutive law using the finite element analysis software, ABAQUS. The numerical results for superelastic and shape memory effect under the tensile and three-point bending tests are presented. Simulations of the shape memory effects and force generation of the shape memory alloy staple are also shown.

The NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA) bow staple consists of an arched body,one front arm and one rear arm.It has the function of shape memory and manyadvantages,i.e.,high strength,low specific gravity,strong retrieving force,highresistance to fatigue and erosion,nontoxicity,nonmagnetism and goodhistocompatibility.It can be widely used and make the fixation convenient and ef-fective.The staple has been used clinically in 152 cases of cranioplasty.Resultshave showed that duration of the operation is shortened and harm during the op-eration is reduced,because dura mater needn’t be seperated and the skull needn’tbe penetrated through.Some complications can be avoided and the operationbecomes simpler,safer and more reliable.The bow staple is suitable for fixationwith any kind of repairing material in cranioplasty and does not interfere withthe CT and MRI reexaminations.

目的:定量分析staple对侧凸脊柱椎体生长板生长率及其组织形态的影响,以及生长板改变程度同侧凸矫形的相关性,旨在探讨生长板在staple矫正脊柱侧凸中的作用,为临床staple技术治疗脊柱侧凸提供实验依据。背景:生物力学是脊柱侧凸疾病发生、发展的重要因素之一,不对称负荷可以造成脊柱侧凸进展的“恶性循环”。椎体的纵向生长和长骨类似,都是通过生长板的软骨内骨化过程完成的。“Hueter-Volkmann”定律认为增加生长板的压力会抑制生长,而压力减少或张力会促进生长。staple技术以此为理论依据,对侧凸脊柱的凸侧加压以抑制其生长,以短节段的方式对脊柱生长进行调节。动物实验和临床研究表明staple对于矫正脊柱侧凸有一定的疗效。但是侧凸矫形中有关staple对椎体异常生长板的影响仍缺少定量分析,生长板改变程度同侧凸矫形的相关性也有待于进一步研究。方法:用单侧椎弓根钉不对称栓系的方法建立10只雌性幼年山羊侧凸模型。建模8-10周后,山羊随机分为对照组(n=5)和staple治疗组(n=5)。两组山羊均取出后路栓系,staple治疗组取出栓系后在最大弯曲椎体的凸侧前路植入4-5枚记忆合金staple。继续观察8-13周,定期复查X线平片,测量Cobb角。处死前第18天和第3天分别给予土霉素和钙黄绿素以标记生长板的骨化前缘。完整获取顶椎上生长板、顶椎上一个椎体的下生长板以及两者之间的椎间盘,聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)包埋,不脱钙切片。荧光显微镜下测量两荧光标记线之间的距离,分别计算椎体两侧生长板的生长率,并根据生长率差异计算staple对椎体的矫形度数。甲苯胺蓝染色后测量生长板生长方向上增殖层高度、肥大层高度、肥大软骨细胞高度增加量以及肥大软骨细胞的最终高度。结果:10只栓系山羊中有9只术后8-10周内进展为明显的脊柱侧凸。在后续8-13周治疗期内,staple治疗组(n=5)Cobb角由术后即刻的34.8±12.4°矫正到最终的15.6±11.7°;对照组(n=4)术后Cobb角无明显变化。staple对顶椎的日矫形度平均为0.017±0.006°,同主弯整体矫形度之间存在明显的相关性(r=0.970,P=0.006),顶椎矫形对整体矫形的贡献度为13.18±3.04%。假设每个staple的矫形度相等,所有staple椎体对矫形的贡献度为61.54±19.91%。staple治疗组中,凹侧生长板平均生长率、肥大层高度、肥大软骨细胞高度增加量以及肥大软骨细胞最终高度均明显大于staple侧,但增殖层两侧无差异。对照组中凹凸两侧所有测量值均无统计学差异。综合staple组与对照组的数据,增殖层高度、肥大层高度、肥大软骨细胞高度增加量、肥大软骨细胞最终高度均与生长率明显正相关(相关系数分别为0.626[P=0.009],0.654[P=0.006],0.880[P＜0.001],0.848[P＜0.001])。增殖层高度及肥大软骨细胞最终高度对生长率的多元回归系数分别为0.023和0.247,回归模型和系数均有统计学意义。结论:1、staple可以明显改变脊柱侧凸椎体生长板两侧的生长率,使凹侧生长率超过凸侧,以达到有效矫形。由此推算的staple对顶椎的日矫形度平均为0.017°,其对整体矫形的贡献度为13.18%,所有staple椎体的贡献度可能至少是61.54%。2、staple矫正脊柱侧凸重要的细胞学机制可能是减小凸侧肥大层高度以及肥大软骨细胞的肥大程度,并逆转凹凸侧肥大层原有的差异。椎体生长板的生长率或许可以表示如下:Rrowth=0.023Prolif-Zt+0.247 Hinal-2.670,其中Rrowth为生长率,Prolif-Zt为增殖层高度,Hinal为肥大软骨细胞最终高度。

针对staple算法在由于相机运动出现模糊情况下跟踪精度下降的问题,提出一种基于背景权重直方图的改进staple目标跟踪算法。首先,针对传统颜色直方图忽略空间性的问题,提出对直方图引入位置权重;其次,利用背景区域颜色直方图抑制背景信息对目标区域直方图的影响,提出引入背景权重直方图,并完成直方图分类器的构建。该算法在OTB2015测试集上与其他5个先进算法进行实验比较,结果表明在距离精度和成功率上总体效果相对staple分别提升了3.7%和2%。

Diagnosis of a submucosal mass at the staple line after sigmoid colon cancer resection by endoscopic cuttingmucosa biopsy

A 48-year-old man underwent laparoscopic sigmoid colon resection for cancer and surveillance colonoscopy was performed annually thereafter. Five years after the resection, a submucosal mass was found at the anastomotic staple line, 15 cm from the anal verge. Computed tomography scan and endoscopic ultrasound were not consistent with tumor recurrence. Endoscopic mucosa biopsy was performed to obtain a definitive diagnosis. Mucosal incision over the lesion with the cutting needle knife technique revealed a creamy white material, which was completely removed. Histologic examination showed fibrotic tissue without caseous necrosis or tumor cells. No bacteria, including mycobacterium, were found on culture. The patient remains free of recurrence at five years since the resection. Endoscopic biopsy with a cutting mucosal incision is an important technique for evaluation of submucosal lesions after rectal resection.

目的通过对staple固定、加压生长期山羊胸椎的组织学观察,探讨加压侧对脊柱生长发育的影响。方法 9只未成年雌性山羊随机分为实验组(n=6)和对照组(n=3);实验组采用单侧多节段(T6-T11)跨椎间隙staple固定;对照组只作相同切口暴露,不进行固定。4个月后获取T8、T9间隙(对照组相应节段)椎间盘及生长板,采用HE、Giemsa染色,镜下观察生长板及椎间盘情况。结果对照组未出现脊柱侧凸畸形,两侧生长板高度以及生长板肥大层细胞和终板软骨细胞形态无明显差异。实验组出现轻度脊柱侧凸畸形,术后4个月Cobb角为17.9°±5.6°;椎间隙上方生长板高度:加压侧(1.27±0.34)mm低于非加压侧的(2.05±0.19)mm,椎间隙下方生长板高度加压侧(0.77±0.31)mm也低于非加压侧的(2.1±0.29)mm;加压侧生长板肥大层细胞数量少、形态异常、排列不规则,非加压侧生长板肥大层细胞排列整齐,细胞形态饱满,胞质丰富,细胞核完整,与对照组无差别;终板软骨细胞也呈同样变化,加压侧与非加压侧软骨细胞数量明显减少,排列不紧密,细胞体积小,胞质较少,胞核扁平。结论半侧固定、加压抑制了固定侧脊柱生长板及终板软骨细胞的发育,可造成脊柱两侧不平衡发展。

The durability of trouser's appearance involves the durability of crease and seam line after pressing, bagging resistance, wrinkle resistance, pilling resistance on the surface during wear. These properties are very important for the tailored trousers. It is investigated how the durability of trousers appearance is related to properties of the blend ratio of wool and PET, the yarn structure and fabric mechanical properties.

staple algorithm has been widely proven to be an efficient target tracking method, but it is still easy to fail in some tracking scenarios such as target deformation, motion blur, and complete occlusion. This paper makes improvements to the above problems. First of all, we use a binary mask based on spatial reliability to enhance the target information in staple’s color features, which improves the tracking accuracy of the algorithm in complex scenes. Secondly, we propose a response graph evaluation index based on secondary detection, that is, the least square filter is used for convolution at the original response peak to obtain a more accurate tracking state judgment. Finally, if the current state is judged to be a failure, we use a particle filter-based motion estimation method to relocate the target, thereby improving the algorithm’s tracking success rate when the target is occluded. The test results on the OTB2015 data set show that the overall accuracy of the algorithm in this paper has reached 80%, and the overall success rate has reached 73.2%, which proves the long-term stable tracking performance of the algorithm.

大多数基于目标检测的红外图像目标跟踪算法采取基于时空一致性在线模型更新策略。然而,当所跟踪的目标发生形变、快速运动和受到遮挡时,在线模型更新过程会受到不同程度的干扰而导致目标跟踪失败。基于孪生网络的离线模型跟踪策略则能够在目标发生扰动的情况下保持其外观模型的不变性。然而,在跟踪速度上与在线模型更新策略差距较大。提出了目标跟踪过程中的跟踪错误检测方法将在线和离线目标模型更新方法相结合,该检测方法通过基于联合响应图的离散度测量来联合2类模型更新方法,并能根据当前目标跟踪状态自动在2种模型更新方法中切换,有效地解决了跟踪算法实时性与鲁棒性的平衡问题。所提出算法在VOT-TIR-2015数据库的实验结果显示相比原有算法staple和Siam FC在跟踪成功率上分别提高3.3%和3.6%,在跟踪精度上分别提高3.8%和5%,同时保证跟踪的实时性。
