Suppose Mi = Vi ∪ Wi （i = 1,2） are Heegaard splittings. A homeomorphism f ： F1 → F2 produces an attached manifold M = M1 ∪F1=F2 M2, where Fi ∪→ δ_Wi. In this paper we define a surface sum of Heegaard splittings induced from the Heegaard splittings of M1 and M2, and give a sufficient condition when the surface sum of Heegaard splitting is stabilized. We also give examples showing that the surface sum of Heegaard splittings can be unstabilized. This indicates that the surface sum of Heegaard splittings and the amalgamation of Heegaard splittings can give different Heegaard structures.

The efficient use of building materials is one of the responses to increasing urbanization and building energy consumption. Soil as a building material has been used for several thousand years due to its availability and its usual properties improving and stabilization techniques used. Thus, fonio straws and shea butter residues are incorporated into tow soil matrix. The objective of this study is to develop a construction eco-material by recycling agricultural and biopolymer by-products in compressed earth blocks (CEB) stabilization and analyze these by-products’ influence on CEB usual properties. To do this, compressed stabilized earth blocks (CSEB) composed of clay and varying proportion (3% to 10%) of fonio straw and shea butter residue incorporated were subjected to thermophysical, flexural, compressive, and durability tests. The results obtained show that the addition of fonio straw and shea butter residues as stabilizers improves compressed stabilized earth blocks thermophysical and mechanical performance and durability. Two different clay materials were studied. Indeed, for these CEB incorporating 3% fonio straw and 3% - 10% shea butter residue, the average compressive strength and three-point bending strength values after 28 days old are respectively 3.478 MPa and 1.062 MPa. In terms of CSEB thermal properties, the average thermal conductivity is 0.549 W/m·K with 3% fonio straw and from 0.667 to 0.798 W/m. K is with 3% - 10% shea butter residue and the average thermal diffusivity is 1.665.10-7 m2/s with 3% FF and 2.24.10-7 m2/s with 3.055.10-7 m2/s with 3% - 10% shea butter residue, while the average specific heat mass is between 1.508 and 1.584 kJ/kg·K. In addition, the shea butter residue incorporated at 3% - 10% improves CSEB water repellency, with capillary coefficient values between 31 and 68 [g/m2·s]1/2 and a contact angle between 43.63°C and 86.4°C. In our work we consider prevent wear of the saw tooth saws cylinder and shaft by mathematical analysis of the saw cylinder at different shaft lengths and number of blades. To prevent wear on cutting cylinder, we determine the optimal cross-flexural vibration of the shaft with respect to time and along the length of the shaft. Model simulated the transverse vibrations with different amounts of drinking and between saw gaskets brought the best option, which has a positive effect on the strength of the shaft. As a result, we have developed two staggered cylinders saw in one of the working chamber gin, which reduces bending vibration, but it increases efficiency.

It is well recognized that A15 Nb3Ge remains the highest Tc superconductors known at present. However, the preparation method of Nb3Ge affects the Tc’s very much; bulk samples prepared by arc-melting have a Tc of only 6K, while through the use of splat-cooling, Matthias et al. have been able to prepare samples having Tc’a～17K. With the thin film deposition method, it is possible to prepare high-Tc A15 Nb3Ge.

Composition and morphology of Mg-β"-Al2O3 synthesized by sintering/Gao Zhenxin,Liu Baikuan,Fu Qiuhua,Wang Mina//Naihuo Cailiao.-2020,54(1):1 Abstract:The purpose of this study was to characterize the composition and morphology ofβ"-Al2O3 in Na2O-MgO-Al2O3 *** pure Al2O3,analytically pure MgO,and analytically pure NaHCO3 which was fired at 400°C were mixed at the mass ratio of Na2O:MgO:Al2O3=5:10:*** shaping,the green body was fired at 1650°C for 3 h to get Mg2+stabilizedβ"-Al2O3(namely Mg-β"-Al2O3).The XRF result shows that the actual composition of the synthetic material is 85.58%Al2O3,9.48%MgO,and 4.80%Na2O,by mass,which has small deviations from the initial composition.
