Flexible sensors used to detect NO_(2) gas generally have problems such as poor repeatability,high operating temperature,poor selectivity,and small detection range.In this work,a new spraying platform with a simple structure,low cost,and good film-forming consistency was designed and built to make a sensitive film(rGO/SnO_(2))for NO_(2) gas sensors.The relationship between the solid content of rGO and SnO_(2)nanoparticles,annealing temperature,and sensor performance was studied.The results show that the interdigital electrode-sensitive film formed by spraying 0.25 ml of a 0.4 wt%rGO/SnO_(2)mixture and annealing at 250℃exhibited the best comprehensive performance for NO_(2) detection.The sensor's response value for 100 ppm NO_(2) gas was 0.2640 at room temperature(25℃),and the response time and recovery time were 412.4 s and 587.3 s,respectively.In the range of 20-100 ppm,the relationship between the response and NO_(2) concentration was linear,and the correlation coefficient was 0.9851.In addition,a soft-monitoring node module with an overlimit warning function for NO_(2) gas was designed and manufactured based on flexible electronics.Finally,the flexible sensor and node module were embedded into woven fabric that could be used to make a mask or a watch that could detect NO_(2) gas,realizing the practical application of flexible NO_(2) gas sensors in the field of wearable electronics.

Fabrication of Free Standing Nanocellulose Film via Spray Coating and its Biomedical Application: A Review

spraying nanocellulose onto films provides a quick and scalable way to create free-standing films with exceptional consistency and customizable thickness. This method increases the application of nanocellulose films in various industries and satisfies the requirements of large-scale production. In the field of biomedicine, spray-coated free-standing nanocellulose films hold great promise for applications such as drug delivery, tissue engineering, wound healing, device coatings, and biosensing. They are excellent nanomaterials for a variety of biomedical applications due to their special qualities, including biocompatibility, high mechanical strength, porous structure, large surface area, and adaptability. This paper reviewed the detailed exposure of the spray coating process of nanocellulose suspension onto free- standing films and its biomedical applications.

1.Introduction Calcium phosphate ceramics,such as hydroxyapatite or tricalciumphosphate as well as bioglass,are successfully used as coatings to improve the fixation of dental implants or load-bearing implants in the human bone[1].The demand for surgical procedures such as hip and knee arthroplasties,primary as well as revision procedures,is projected to increase for the foreseeable future[2].The possibility of an infection is amajor risk for all implants[3].The treatment of these periprosthetic joint infections is difficult and often requires the replacement of the implant[4],which is a significant burden for the patient and comes at an increased economic cost[5].

A new application field of plasma spraying technique to environmental depollution

To expand the application of plasma spraying technique, TiO2 coatings were prepared using agglomerated anatase TiO2 powder to solve the environmental problems. The composition and photocatalytic activity of plasma sprayed TiO2 coatings were investigated systematically. The content of anatase TiO2 in the sprayed coatings was approximate to 7%- 15%, which was influenced by the melting state of TiO2 powder in plasma spraying process. The surface of sprayed coating was very rough and the arithmetical mean deviation of the surface profiles (Ra) was in the range of 5.7 - 8.8 μm. Under lower arc current, the surface of the coating became rougher. The anatase to rutile phase transformation temperature of agglomerated anatase TiO2 powder was approximate to 1 173 K. The TiO2 coating sprayed under the arc current of 400 A had good photocatalytic activity for the relative high content of anatase phase in it. It is concluded that the application of plasma spraying technique to environmental field has been developed.

Influence of TiCl_4 treatment on performance of dye-sensitized solar cell assembled with nano-TiO_2 coating deposited by vacuum cold spraying

Titanium tetrachloride (TiCl4) treatment was employed to TiO2 coating deposited on fluoride-doped tin oxide (FTO) conducting glass and indium oxide doped tin oxide (ITO) conducting glass, respectively. The nano-crystalline TiO2 coating was deposited using a composite powder composed of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and 25 nm TiO2 particles by vacuum cold spraying (VCS) process. A commercial N-719 dye was used to adsorb on the surface of TiO2 coating to prepare TiO2 electrode, which was applied to assemble dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC). The cell performance was measured under simulated solar light at an intensity of 100 mW·cm-2. Results show that with an FTO substrate the DSC composed of a VCS TiO2 electrode untreated by TiCl4 gives a short-circuit current density of 13.1 mA·cm-2 and an open circuit voltage of 0.60 V corresponding to an overall conversion efficiency of 4.4%. It is found that after TiCl4 treatment to the VCS TiO2 electrode with an FTO substrate, the short circuit current density of the cell increases by 31%, the open-circuit voltage increases by 60 mV and a higher conversion yield of 6.5% was obtained. However, when an ITO substrate is used to deposit TiO2 coating by VCS, after TiCl4 treatment, the conversion efficiency of the assembled cell reduces slightly due to corrosion of the conducting layer on the ITO glass by TiCl4.

Wear-resistant coating spraying technique for wear-proofing cover of coke dry quenching furnace

During the operation of a coke dry quenching system of coking plant, wear-proofing cover of the boiler was seriously eroded, and even the ceiling tube of the boiler was worn and torn. Thus, attentions were paid to the research, development and application of the wear-resistant coating spraying technique for wear-proofing cover of the coke dry quenching furnace. The Cr3C2–NiCr coatings for wear-proofing cover were fabricated via supersonic arc spraying process, and the residual coating of wear-proofing cover would be sampled for being analyzed after two years. The coating presents a dense microstructure with few pores and micro-cracks (the porosity is 4.65%). After thermal spraying of the wear-proofing cover, the hardness and the wear resistance of the surface are improved. The remaining coating is continuous and compact, with an average thickness of about 147μm. Transverse micro-cracks parallel to the spreading direction of the coating surface are displayed on different areas of the coating, which demonstrates its serious erosion wear effect. The main chemical component of white zone is Fe–18Cr–Ni. The Cr level of light gray phase is about 77.57 wt.% and the O level is 22.43 wt.%. And the main chemical components of dark gray phase are C, O, Al, Si and Ca. X-ray diffraction patterns were adopted to implement phase analysis on the surface of coating sample, which indicated that the coating was composed of a large amount of Cr3O2 and a small amount of metal Cr.

PA and PA/MoS2 composite coatings were prepared by flame-spraying. The thermal properties, crystallinity, microstructure and tribological properties were investigated with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and MM-200 model wear tester. Temperature influences the final morphological structure of the coatings. Tribological experiment results indicate that the MoS2 filled PA coating has different wear resistance compared with the PA coating without MoS2 filler. A high content of MoS2 decreases the hardness of composite coating and enhances the wear rate. The 1 %-3% content of MoS2 has advantages to the tribological ProPerties of PA composite coatings.

Deposition behavior of multi-particle impact in cold spraying process

In the practical cold-spraying process, a number of particles impact onto a substrate and then form a coating. To study the deformation behavior and multi-particle interactions, single-particle, two-particle, and three-particle impacts were simulated using the ANSYS/LS-DYNA version 970. A copper coating was prepared and scanning electron microscopy （SEM） was employed to analyze the microstructures of the powders and the coating. Numerical results reveal that the critical deposition velocity is 600 m/s for a copper particle/copper substrate. The particles deform more fully due to multi-particle interactions, such as tamping, interlocking, and extrusion effects. The compression ratio increases from 40% to 70% as a result of the tamping effect. This is beneficial for achieving the cold-sprayed coating. The multi-particle morphology and compression ratio in the experiment are consistent with those of simulation results. Based on these results, the coating of high performance can be prepared through selecting appropriate parameters and suitable pre-treatment processes.

Configuration optimization of high velocity arc spraying gun

In order to improve the in-flight characteristics of the atomizing droplets during high velocity wire arc spraying (HVAS), some changes have been operated on the original design of the HVAS gun configuration. A comparative study was carried out to investigate the microstructure and properties of the coatings produced by the original design spraying gun and the modified one, using 3Cr13 wires of 3 mm in diameter. The characteristics of their jets were examined during spraying. The results indicate that, the included angle between the two wires and the distance from the nozzle to the meeting point of the two vires may have a strong influence on the characteristics of the in-flight droplets and then the coatings. The jet divergence is found to be lower than that of the original one (about 12° against 25°). By modified gun, the adhesion strength, the microhardness and porosity of the coating deposited by modified gun are increased by 39% and 9% respectively. And the porosity of the coatings is decreased by 57%.

Preparation of thermal barrier coatings by ultrasonic plasma spraying

Modulated plasma arc not only can heat the powder, but also can excite ultrasonic of different frequencies and different powers. The principles and characters of the plasma arc-excited ultrasonic were described, and the ultrasonic plasma spraying was compared with normal plasma spraying. Zirconia thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) were fabricated with two kinds of method. The TBCs were studied by the optical microscope observation, SEM observation and bonding strength experiment. The results show that suitable ultrasonic changes the performance and microstructure of TBCs in evidence. And the mechanism of ultrasonic influencing the TBCs was also discussed.
