Local Region Frequency Guided Dynamic Inconsistency Network for Deepfake Video Detection

In recent years, with the rapid development of deepfake technology, a large number of deepfake videos have emerged on the Internet, which poses a huge threat to national politics, social stability, and personal privacy. Although many existing deepfake detection methods exhibit excellent performance for known manipulations, their detection capabilities are not strong when faced with unknown manipulations. Therefore, in order to obtain better generalization ability, this paper analyzes global and local inter-frame dynamic inconsistencies from the perspective of spatial and frequency domains, and proposes a Local region Frequency Guided Dynamic Inconsistency Network (LFGDIN). The network includes two parts: Global spatiotemporal Network (GSTN) and Local Region Frequency Guided Module (LRFGM). The GSTN is responsible for capturing the dynamic information of the entire face, while the LRFGM focuses on extracting the frequency dynamic information of the eyes and mouth. The LRFGM guides the GTSN to concentrate on dynamic inconsistency in some significant local regions through local region alignment, so as to improve the model's detection performance. Experiments on the three public datasets (FF++, DFDC, and Celeb-DF) show that compared with many recent advanced methods, the proposed method achieves better detection results when detecting deepfake videos of unknown manipulation types.

A Layout Method of Space-Based Pseudolite System Based on GDOP Geometry

The pseudolite system can be used to provide positioning and timing service for users in a specific area. In order to provide better positioning and timing service, a good geometric configuration needs to be formed for the pseudolite system. For the problem of pseudolite system deployment, the average and mean square values of geometric dilution of precision(GDOP)are optimized in this paper for users in a target area. We proposed a space-based pseudolite deployment method based on GDOP geometry, starting from the minimum GDOP value for users in the central area. From the simulation results, it can be seen that, compared with the empirical method and the NSGA-II method, the method in this paper has the smallest average GDOP, a better robustness, and a higher positioning accuracy in the target area, through which a pseudolite deployment proposal can be quickly obtained.

This study explored the effect of macroscopic electric fields induced by electroconvulsive therapy（ECT） on voltage-gated ion channels of neurons. Based on the data provided by the multi-scale models, the mathematical models of the influence of the macroscopic electric field on the neuronal cell membrane potential are established. This paper introduces a computational ECT model in which biophysics of stimulation and neurophysiology are combined. The macroscopic field model is combined with the mesoscopic nerve morphology to provide the accurate vector of field for the microscopic nerve fiber bundle. Under the influence of external stimuli of ECT, the spatio-temporal response of cell membrane potentials is calculated with microsecond time resolution. The presented model gives insight in the activity propagation through the brain and can therefore explain the observed clinical responses to ECT and their inter-and/or intra-subject variability. We aspire to advance towards an accurate, flexible and personalized ECT model that helps to understand stimulation in the connected brain and to target more accurate and deeper brain regions.
