This paper is concerned with the problem of model reduction for spatially interconnected systems（SISs） over finite frequency ranges.A new technique for model reduction of SISs over middle-frequency ranges is first presented with the form of linear matrix inequalities（LMIs）,which is also applicable to SISs over low-frequency ***,this technique is extended into the high-frequency case to cover all possible finite frequency ranges.A practical example is included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper develops new results on iterative learning control of a class of spatially interconnected systems for the particular case of the passive or active electric ladder *** task is performed by converting the problem to one of stability along the trial for a differential linear repetitive process,leading to design based on linear matrix inequality *** particular,sufficient conditions for the existence of a control law are developed together with the design algorithms for the associated controller *** this control law the resulting ILC dynamics have an asymptotic convergence in terms of an error sequence formed from the difference between both the distributed reference trajectory and the current trial output ***,an illustrative simulation is given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the new designs.

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent robust H filtering for uncertain spatially interconnected time-delay systems(SITSs) with interconnected chains in finite frequency ***,by the delay-dependent finite frequency bounded ream lemma(BRL) for uncertain SITSs with interconnected chains,a finite frequency robust H filter design method can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Finally,a numerical example is provided to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper,we study the connective stability of distributed interconnected systems under unreliable *** network topology of the system is captured by an arbitrary graph,where unreliable communications are modeled as the structured *** derive a sufficient condition for the connective stability of the distributed interconnected system and prove that such a group of systems is robust to signal fading,link failures or switching of network *** of distributed controllers is discussed as *** illustrative example is provided showing how connective stability contributes to stability in the sense of Lyapunov under unreliable networks.
