spatial distribution of <i>Anopheles sinensis</i>and Its Relationship with Natural Environmental Factors in Wanning County on Hainan Island, China

Anopheles sinensis is widely distributed in Wanning County, it is necessary to understand the spatial distribution characteristics of Anopheles sinensis in order to maintain the elimination of malaria in Wanning. During May and October 2009, we sampled adult mosquitoes at 36 villages within Wanning County on Hainan island, and collected meteorological and geographical data at each sampling site. We used these data to analyze the spatial distribution of adult Anopheles sinensis mosquitoes, and logistic regression analysis was applied to explore the association of the spatial distribution of Anopheles sinensis with the geographical and meteorological factors. We found that the density of Anopheles sinensis showed a significant positive spatial correlation. From May to October, on the whole, the high-density area was located in the central part of Wanning County. But each month there was a relatively high-density cluster, and their location and range were not exactly the same. From east to west, the density of Anopheles sinensis increased initially and then decreased, but from south to north, there were different trends in the periods of May to August and September to October. Logistic regression analysis showed that the main environmental factors related with the distribution of Anopheles sinensis were land use type, soil type, distance to road, air pressure and relative humidity. These analysis results showed that the distribution of Anopheles sinensis had obvious spatial heterogeneity in Wanning County, which was related with geographical and meteorological factors. The mechanism of these environmental factors on the distribution of Anopheles sinensis needs to be further studied.

[Objective]The paper was to study the spatial distribution of Batocera horsfieldi in different ash forests.[Method]The number of excretory holes,eclosion holes and channels of B.horsfieldi in five different stand types of ash forests(patch forest,yard greening forest,highway street forest,urban street forest and yard street forest)was investigated,and their spatial distribution characteristics were statistically analyzed.[Result]The aggregation index,Iwao regression equation and Taylor power exponential equation were calculated.The excretory holes,eclosion holes and channels of B.horsfieldi attacking five different stand types of ash forests showed aggregated distribution,but the aggregation index parameters,αandβof Iwao regression equation,lga and b of Taylor power exponential equation varied with different stand types.[Conclusion]B.horsfieldi has caused serious harms to ash tree which is an important landscaping tree in the Yellow River delta area,and it is of guiding value to sampling investigation and prevention and control of B.horsfieldi.

[ Objective] The paper was to explore the population dynamics of Obolodiplosis robiniae （Haldemarm）. [ Method ] The spatial distribution of mature larvae of O. robiniae and the damage regularity of its first generation larvae on leaves of locust were studied in Fangshan District of Beijing City. [ Result] The spa- tial distribution of mature larvae of O. robin/ae in the forest was sigrrificanfly higher than those in forest edge and periphery of forest edge. The attack of the first generation larvae was mainly concentrated in the lower part of tree crown. [ Conclusion] The study provides theoretical basis for the effective control against O. robiniae.

The study of the spatial distribution of natural villages is what local studies, cultural studies, urban and rural planning, and tourism planning need. In the context of gradually extinct natural villages, research on the characteristics analysis and protection of natural villages is of great significance. With the aid of the Arc GIS spatial analysis technology, it was concluded that terrain, traffic, and social economy were important factors influencing the distribution of the natural villages in the study area, so as to provide a technical reference for relevant local administrative departments to construct a livable ecological environment.

This paper, based on the statistical data from the Sample Survey of Domestic Tourism in Inner Mongolia(2014), analyzed the distribution of the domestic tourism market across Inner Mongolia and its 4 tourism sections through indexes including market concentration ratio, geographic concentration ratio, variance, etc.. The results showed that:(1) the market within the autonomous region remained to be the largest one in those 4 sections;(2) Beijing was the largest domestic tourism market outside Inner Mongolia;(3) different sections were divided on the target market of domestic tourism:(1) Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region proved to be the primary market of Inner Mongolia at large;(2) Beijing and 3 provinces in Northwest China came as the primary markets of Hulun Buir-Hinggan section;(3) Beijing-Tanjin-Hebei Region and Liaoning Province were the primary markets of Xilingol-Chifeng-Tongliao section;(4) BeijingShanxi-Hebei Region turned out to be the primary market of Huhhot-Baotou-Erdos-UlanqabBayannur section;(5) Beijing and Gansu were the primary markets of Wuhai-Alxa section;(4) the market concentration ratio of domestic tourism in different sections varied from each other, and the east section was the highest one, followed by middle section, Inner Mongolia as a whole, west section, and northeast section. As a result, authors of this paper made recommendations on how to develop the domestic tourism in Inner Mongolia.

The content of Cu,Zn in the sediments from coastal wetlands of the Yellow River Delta was determined.The results showed that:(i)The content of Cu,Zn range was 16.70-50.40 mg/kg,18.15-48.80 mg/kg,respectively.The mean content of Cu,Zn was 31.12mg/kg,36.74 mg/kg,respectively.Compared with the soil environmental background values of Shandong Province,the content of Cu was excessive,while the content of Zn was below the background.(ii)The concentrations of Cu,Zn in sediment in the coast of the Yellow River Delta were higher than in the other two areas.(iii)Vertical distribution characteristics of the concentrations of Cu,Zn were increasing with depth.The maximum content of Cu,Zn was 80-100 cm,in general,the content of Cu,Zn in the bottom sediments was higher than that in the surface sediments.The growth and decline trends of Zn in Tamarix and Suaeda areas were much the same and all higher than in the Phragmites communis area.(iv)The distribution characteristics of Cu concentration in different vegetation cover in sediment is Suaeda>Phragmites communis>Tamarix,which reflected different effects on retention of Cu in the sediments because of the different vegetation types.The highest content of Zn in the 0-20 cm sediments in Tamarix area was 44.07 mg/kg.

In order to investigate the spatial distribution of early warning threshold for landslide induced by rainfall in China,the literatures about rainfall thresholds of landslides in China in recent 20 years are selected.Statistical analysis and visualization methods were employed to systematically analyze the research progress of rainfall early warning thresholds at various scales.Taking the typical rainfall intensity-duration(I-D)threshold model as the research object,combined with the geographical characteristics of China and the average annual rainfall of 20 years,the spatial distribution of early warning thresholds for rainfall-induced landslide in China is depicted.The results show that the inspired rain intensity coefficientαof the rainfall threshold(I-D curve)in China roughly increases gradually with the decrease of topography.Moreover,under consistent annual rainfall conditions,the scalar indexβexhibits regular changes corresponding to variations in terrain.Topography and rainfall are the two main factors strongly associated with the rainfall threshold.This research establishes a clear framework for studying the early warning thresholds for rainfall-induced landslides in China and holds significant scientific implications for developing more effective rainfall threshold models.

Taking 68 national wetland parks(including pilot sites)in Shandong Province as the research objects,three time sections of 2011,2014 and 2017 were selected,to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of national wetland parks in Shandong Province by using geographic concentration index,imbalance index and standard deviation ellipse method,and explore the infl uencing factors by using SPSS stepwise regression analysis.The results show that the spatial distribution of national wetland parks is extensive but unbalanced,with more in central Shandong and less in eastern Shandong,and the distribution of other regions is relatively uniform.National wetland parks in Shandong Province are distributed along the northeast-southwest direction and are increasingly moving east-west direction.The impacts of natural factors such as topography,hydrology and climate on the spatial distribution of national wetland parks are consistent.At the same time,human factors such as economic environment,traffi c accessibility and population status also play an important driving role.

To develop and protect traditional villages reasonably, this paper applied Arc GIS spatial Analyst Tools to analyze spatial distribution and infl uence factors of 101 traditional villages in Hunan Province. The research showed the agglomerate distribution of traditional villages in Hunan; from the city scale, distribution of traditional villages was concentrated mainly in West Hunan Tujia Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, Chenzhou, Yongzhou, Huaihua and Shaoyang; concentrated distribution of traditional villages in the fi ve major geographic regions showed poor equilibrium, West Hunan had the most concentrated traditional villages, and South Hunan has the second most; relatively closed regional environment, perilous hills, inconvenient transportation, and underdeveloped social economy contributed to the protection of traditional villages, and they were all signifi cant infl uence factors for the distribution of traditional villages in Hunan.
