Geochemistry of Rare Earth Elements in Xikeng Ag-Pb-Zn Ore Deposit, south anhui, China

In this paper, a comparative study is done on the geochemical charateristics of REE in ore, ore-hosted rocks of Lantian group, granite related to ore deposit, and altered rocks for tracing origin of ore-forming materials. The result indicates that the ore-forming fluid and ore-forming materials for Xikeng silver-polymetallic ore deposit were derived from Yixian granite's magmatic activity. Water-rock reaction of the hydrothermal fluid with the carbonate-rich stratum led the altered rock to relatively enrich in HREE.

Genesis of Mafic Microgranular Enclaves in the Shaocunwu Granodiorite,southern China,and their Implications:Evidence from Zircon and Whole-rock Geochemistry

Magmatic microgranular enclaves(MMEs)are widely developed in the Shaocunwu granodiorite at the northeast margin of the eastern Jiangnan orogenic *** geology showed that the MMEs occur as irregular ellipsoids near the edge of the intrusion,and consist of diorite,dominantly composed of amphibole,biotite,and plagioclase grains,with minor acicular *** U-Pb dating showed the ages of the host granodiorites and MMEs are 145.9±1.1 Ma and 145.6±2.5 Ma,respectively,indicating both originated during coeval late Jurassic ***-rock geochemical results show that the host granodiorite and MMEs have similar rare earth and trace element partition curves in spider grams,and similar 87Sr/86Sr,and 147Nd/144Nd isotope ratios,and their zircon 177Hf/176Hf isotopic ratios are *** studies indicate that both the host granodiorite and MMEs formed by mixing of coeval *** Ti thermometers and oxygen fugacity of the host granodiorite and the MMEs show high oxygen fugacity,similar to that of W-Cu(Mo)mineralized granitoids in the eastern Jiangnan orogenic belt.A similar magma mixing process was probably one of the mechanisms that generated the W-Cu(Mo)fertile melts.

Mesozoic magmatism is extensively developed in eastern China along the eastern Asian continental margin,but the geochronological framework is not well understood for each *** this study,seventy-eight samples were collected from the Mesozoic igneous rocks in south anhui Province,east-central China,in order to precisely constrain their formation ages and contributions to crustal *** U-Pb age determination using ion probe and laser ablation techniques indicate that magmatism in the area can be divided into two separate stages: at 150-136 and 136-120 Ma,*** first stage of granitic rocks,not documented in other areas of eastern China,is mostly composed of hornblende-bearingⅠ-type granodiorite and monzogranite,and is considered to be formed by slab-tearing during Pacific *** second stage of magmatism,coeval to that in other areas of eastern China,is characterized by the occurrence of A-type granite and syenite,and their volcanic counterparts,although I-type granitic rocks are also developed *** rocks are mostly distributed around and within the fault-controlled volcanic basins,and some are closely related to detachment shearing,indicating their formation in an extensional *** Hf isotopic analyses indicate that Archean material might be present in the area,but that the main episode of crustal growth took place during the Mesoproterozoic,with very little juvenile material in the Mesozoic.
