The solubility product formulae of CuS and Cu2S in ferrite and in austenite have been obtained via thermodynamic method,according to the formation energy of CuS and Cu2S and the solubility formulae of elements Cu and S in ferrite and in *** comparing the solubility products for CuS and Cu2S in iron,it is found that Cu2S instead of CuS should be precipitated in iron due to competitative precipitation,in the view of *** formulae of CuS and Cu2S deduced from thermodynamic method would play an important role in related theoretical research and practical production.

The Applicaton of IAF Theory to the Study of Dissociation Equilibrium (Ⅱ) --The Calculation of solubility product Constant in Nonaqueous Solvents

This article reports a theoretical calculation of solubility product constant of several slightly soluble silver salts in a number of nonaqueous solvents according to the IAF (interaction force) theory based on the interaction free energy of electrostatic, orientation, induction and dispersion. The calculated values of pKsp are in good accordance with those from literature.

An in-situ Raman spectroscopic study on potential-pO^(2-) phase diagram of lanthanum in LiCl-KCl eutectic melt

The oxidative reaction between lanthanum trichloride and oxide ion was studied in the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic at 773 K by in-situ Raman spectroscopy using an yttria-stabilized zirconia electrode in conjunction with electrochemical *** formation of lanthanum oxychloride,LaOCl(s),was confirmed by studying the vibrational properties of crystalline LaOCl and X-ray diffraction *** solubility product of LaOCl in the LiCl-KCl molten eutectic at 773 K is found to be pKsp(LaOCl)=7.569±0.100,by combining the results of Raman spectroscopy and potentiometric titration with the addition of barium *** use of Raman spectroscopic quantitation of dissolved lanthanum ions in the system allows faster and more accurate determination of the stable phase of lanthanum as well as the solubility product of LaOCl compared with that measured by potentiometric titration *** on experimentally obtained pKsp and standard equilibrium potentials,the potentialpO2- phase diagram of lanthanum in the molten LiCl-KCl eutectic was reported.

Dissolution Modeling and Experimental Measurement of CaS-H20 Binary System

CaS formed during the retorting process of oil shale has a hazardous influence on surface water quality. Interaction of retorted oil shale with water generates highly alkaline leachate with a high content of sulfur due to the CaS component. A theoretical model describing the behavior of solid calcium sulfide in contact with water was developed. The model was consistent with the measurements showing change in dissolution behavior when solid CaS remained in the solution. Experimental measurements of pH and concentrations of ions were carried out in oxy- gen-free water at 25 ~C using CaS concentrations from 24.2-131.5 mgoL-1 （0.335--1.823 mmol/L）. Analysis of pH and concentrations of ions in the solution and calculations by the developed model showed that the solubility of CaS was estimated as 125.0 mg·L 1 （1.733 mmol/L）, and therefore the solubility product of CaS is 3.41×10^-10 （mo·L^-1）^2 at a temperature of 25℃.
