[Y(dbm)_(3)(H_(2)O)]:Synthesis,thermal behavior and spin-coating precursor for Y_(2)O_(3)layer formation

The synthesis,structure and thermal behavior of [Y（dbm）3（H2 O）]（3）（dbm = 1,3-diphenyl-1,3-propandionate） and its use as a spin-coating precursor for Y2 O3 deposition is reported. Complex 3 was prepared by the reaction of [Y（NO3）3·6 H2 O]（1） with 3 equiv of Hdbm（2） in presence of NaOH. The molecular structure of 3 in the solid-state was determined by single X-ray crystal diffraction. Both C1 symmetric crystallographically independent species of 3 possess a YO7 coordination setup with minor deviation from an ideal capped octahedron coordination geometry（∧ enantiomer）. Complex 3 forms a1 D chain, due to intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the coordinated H2 O molecule and the 0 atom of the dbm ligand, respectively. The thermal decomposition behavior of 3 was investigated by thermogravimetric studies in the temperature range of 40-800 ℃ and 40-1300 ℃ under an oxygen and argon atmosphere, respectively. Powder X-ray diffraction（PXRD） measurements of the residues confirmed the formation of Y2 O3. Complex 3 was applied as a spin-coating precursor for yttrium oxide film formation on either Si wafers with a continuous 100 nm thick SiO2 film, or with a native oxide layer.The as-deposited Y2 O3 layers are smooth, conformal, dense and transparent and are of a thickness of 27 and 30 nm, respectively.

Sodium Holmium Polyphosphate NaHo(PO_3)_4 with [P_4O_(12)]^(4-)Spiral Chains: Synthesis, Crystal structure, and Luminescent Properties

Sodium holmium polyphosphate crystal, NaHo（PO3）4, has been synthesized by the high temperature solution reaction and characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, EDX, IR, UV-vis-NIR, and PL spectra. The structure belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with Z = 4, α = 7.181（3）, b = 13.059（5） and c = 9.730 （4）？. It is described as a three-dimensional （3D） architecture made up of [P4O12]4- anionic spiral chains and HoO8 polyhedra by corner-sharing. The 8-coordinated sodium atoms are located in infinite tunnels. The results of EDX and IR spectrum are in good agreement with the crystallographic analysis. In addition, NaHo（PO3）4 exhibits visible light emission in the solid state at room temperature.

A Single-Component Supramolecular Organic Framework with Efficient Ultralong Phosphorescence

Supramolecular organic frameworks(SOFs),due to the atomically precise integration of the repeated building units,exhibit intriguing properties and consequently potential applications in chemical and materials science communities.However,it remains a great challenge to achieve SOFs with ultralong organic phosphorescence(UOP)in a singlecomponent system.Herein,we report metal-free organic compound 9,9′-(6-(2-bromophenethoxy)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis(9H-carbazole)(DCzPO)with UOP behavior.Owing to the combination of multiple supramolecular interactions,DCzPO formed a SOF structure with regular hexagonal holes,which shows an ultralong emission lifetime of 398 ms and a phosphorescence efficiency of 3%.So far as we know,among the reported luminescent SOFs,this one is the most highly efficient.This single-component SOF with ultralong phosphorescence will provide a new platform to rationally combine UOP and porous materials.
