Effect of sn substitution and heat treatment on microstructure and microhardness of Co_(38)Ni_(34)Al_(28-x)sn_x magnetic shape memory alloys

sn was used to replace Al in Co38Ni34Al28 alloy. The microstructure and microhardness of Co38Ni34Al28-xsnx （x=0, 1, 2, 3） magnetic shape memory alloys were investigated at different heat treatment temperatures （1373 K, 1473 K, and 1573 K） for 2 h. The results show that more sn substitution reduces the content of γ-phase and a partial phase of martensite can be obtained in Co38Ni34Al28-xsnx （x=1, 2, 3） alloys after treatment at 1573 K for 2 h. The maximum martensite phase appears when 2% Al is substituted by sn. The reverse martensitic transformation temperature of Co38Ni34Al28-xsnx alloys increases at x=1 and 2, then decreases as x=3. As the content of sn and the temperature increase, the microhardness will increase.

In this study, sn doped CsPbsnBr(CPSB) perovskite has been successfully synthesized by the anti-solvent precipitation method and applied in visible-light photodegradation of antibiotic residue in ethanol. The synthesized CsPbsnBr perovskite is well characterized by XRD, XPS, SEM, TEM, and other methods, which confirms the successfully partially isomorphous substitution of Pb with sn. Enhanced photocatalytic efficiency is observed in the CsPbsnBr which is also closely related to the doping quantity. The active species are uncovered through capture experiments and a reaction mechanism is proposed. This work shows that sn substitution can reduce the toxicity of Pb-based perovskite quantum dots with improved photocatalytic property for degrading tetracycline hydrochloride in organic system selectively, which reduces the toxicity of Pb-based perovskite and broadens its application.

Oxygen anion redox chemistry in layered oxide cathodes for sodium-ion batteries has attracted great ***,the release of lattice oxygen caused by the irreversible anionic redox and Jahn–Teller effect accelerates the structural distortion and electrochemical ***,we rationally construct a stable crystal lattice to enhance the reactivity and reversibility of oxygen redox and inhibit the Jahn–Teller effect by sn *** stronger binding energy of sn–O enhances the structural stability of the cathode,which is favorable to suppress the oxygen release and Jahn–Teller ***,the reversibility of oxygen redox and the stability of the layered structure are *** expansion of the interlayer spacing decreases the energy barriers for Na+ion intercalation,improving the rate performance of the *** from the rational design,the electrode delivers an enhanced rate performance and cycling *** work offers some insights into tuning the oxygen anion redox chemistry as well as suppressing the Jahn–Teller effect by lattice modulation.
