Flow Field simulation and Parameter analysis of Hydraulic Unbalanced Bionic Self-recovery Actuator for Rotary Equipment

The rotor is the most important component of rotating machinery,and the vibration produced by its mass unbalance has a serious influence on the secure and steady operation of the machine,so an effective online suppression technology is urgently needed.A new hydraulic unbalanced bionic self-recovery system is introduced,imitating the way of manually repairing faulty equipment.To accomplish the effect of actuator mass redistribution,the technology employs pressurized air to drive the quantitative transfer of liquid in the reservoir cavity at opposite positions.It can complete the online adjustment of the equipment's balancing state and suppress the unbalanced vibration of equipment in real time,which gives the equipment the ability to maintain an autonomous health state and improve equipment performance.The composition and working principle of the system are introduced in detail,and the key performance parameters,such as the minimum running speed and the balancing liquid transfer speed,are analyzed theoretically.The fluid-solid coupling model of the actuator was established,and the two-phase flow from inside the hydraulic unbalanced bionic self-recovery actuator was simulated under multiple working conditions and the performance parameters were quantitatively analyzed.A balancing simulation test bed was built,and its effectiveness was verified by performance parameter tests and unbalanced bionic self-recovery experiments.The experimental results show that the mass distribution adjustment of the balancing disk can be achieved using different viscosity balancing liquid,and the response of liquid viscosity 10 cSt is faster than that of liquid viscosity 100 cSt in the process of balancing liquid transfer,and the time is reduced by more than 75%;the system can reduce the simulated rotor amplitude from 18.3μm to 10.6μm online in real time,which provides technical support for the subsequent development of a new generation of bionic intelligent equipment.

Aerospace optical cables and fiber-optic connectors have numerous advantages (e.g., low loss, wide transmission frequency band, large capacity, light weight, and excellent resistance to electromagnetic interference). They can achieve optical communication interconnections and high-speed bidirectional data transmission between optical terminals and photodetectors in space, ensuring the stability and reliability of data transmission during spacecraft operations in orbit. They have become essential components in high-speed networking and optically interconnected communications for spacecrafts. Thermal stress simulation analysis is important for evaluating the temperature stress concentration phenomenon resulting from temperature fluctuations, temperature gradients, and other factors in aerospace optical cables and connectors under the combined effects of extreme temperatures and vacuum environments. Considering this, advanced optical communication technology has been widely used in high-speed railway communication networks to transmit safe, stable and reliable signals, as high-speed railway optical communication in special areas with extreme climates, such as cold and high-temperature regions, requires high-reliability optical cables and connectors. Therefore, based on the finite element method, comprehensive comparisons were made between the thermal distributions of aerospace optical cables and J599III fiber optic connectors under different conditions, providing a theoretical basis for evaluating the performance of aerospace optical cables and connectors in space environments and meanwhile building a technical foundation for potential optical communication applications in the field of high-speed railways.

In this work,the evolution of melt pool under single-point and single-line printing in the laser engineered net shaping(LENS)process is analyzed.Firstly,the basic structure of the melt pool model of the LENS process is established and the necessary assumptions are made.Then,the establishment process of the multi-physical field model of the melt pool is introduced in detail.It is concluded that the simulation model results are highly consistent with the online measurement experiment results in terms of melt pool profile,space temperature gradient,and time temperature gradient.Meanwhile,some parameters,such as the 3D morphology and surface fluid field of the melt pool,which are not obtained in the online measurement experiment,are analyzed.Finally,the influence of changing the scanning speed on the profile,peak temperature,and temperature gradient of the single-line melt pool is also analyzed,and the following conclusions are obtained:With the increase in scanning speed,the profile of the melt pool gradually becomes slender;The relationship between peak temperature and scanning speed is approximately linear in a certain speed range;The space temperature gradient at the tail of the melt pool under different scanning speeds hardly changes with the scanning speed,and the time temperature gradient at the tail of the melt pool is in direct proportion to the scanning speed.

simulation analysis and Experimental Study of Defect Detection Underwater by ACFM Probe

This article studies the application of the alternating current field measurement （ACFM） method in defect detection for underwater structures. Numerical model of the ACFM system is built for structure surface defect detection in seawater environment. Finite element simulation is performed to investigate rules and characteristics of the electromagnetic signal distribution in the defected area. In respect of the simulation results, underwater artificial crack detection experiments are designed and conducted for the ACFM system. The experiment results show that the ACFM system can detect cracks in underwater structures and the detection accuracy is higher than 85%. This can meet the engineering requirement of underwater structure defect detection. The results in this article can be applied to establish technical foundation for the optimization and development of ACFM based underwater structure defects detection system.

simulation analysis of regional surface mass anomalies inversion based on different types of constraints

Surface mass anomalies estimated by mass concentration(mascon)approach using Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)observations with regularization constraints generally present higher spatial resolution than the spheric harmonic(SH)solutions.To analyze the influence of different types of constraints on the estimation of mascon solutions,we carried out a closed-loop simulation experiment to estimate surface mass anomalies over South America based on simulated GRACE intersatellite geopotential differences.Tikhonov regularization with spatial constraint(SC),uniform weighting constraint(UWC),and a prior information constraint(APC)were employed to stabilize the mascon solutions,and the corresponding optimal regularization parameters were determined based on the minimum residual root-mean-square(RMS)criterion.The results show that mascon solutions estimated under different types of constraints are consistent and equivalent when the optimal regularization parameters are selected.The spatial distributions and main characteristics of regional surface mass anomalies estimated by the three types of constraints agree well,and the values of residual RMS with different constraints are very close.But due to the smoothing effect of regularization,the signal strength of mascon solutions is a bit weaker than that of original true signal,especially in the regions with strong signals.In addition,due to the ill-conditioned problem is more serious for higher grid resolution,the relative contribution of the three types of constraints to the final mascon solutions would be stronger.The results show that the averages of relative contribution percentages of these constraints for 2°×2° mascon grids are 80%-90%,while the corresponding values for 4°×4° mascon grids are 30%-60%.However,based on the minimum residual RMS criterion,the accuracy of estimation results is not affected by the type of constraints and their relative contribution to the final mascon solutions.

Facile fabrication of graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4) for electromagnetic wave absorption

With the development of the miniaturization of electronic equipment and lightweight weapon equipment,there are new requirements for electromagnetic wave absorption material(EMWAM).EMWAM has outstanding electromagnetic wave absorption properties and lightweight characteristics become an important direction of research.In this study,graphene/g-C_(3)N_(4)(GGCN)EMWAM was first synthesized in situ by simple heat treatment,in which the g-C_(3)N_(4) had a porous structure and dispersed on the surface of graphene.The impedance matching of the GGCN was well adjusted by decreasing the dielectric constant and attenuation constant due to the g-C_(3)N_(4) semiconductor property and the graphite-like structure.The EMW loss mechanism of GGCN was also analyzed by simulating GGCN’s electric field mode distribution and resistance loss power density.The analysis result shows that the distribution of g-C_(3)N_(4) among GGCN sheets can produce more polarization effects and relaxation effects by increasing the lamellar spacing.Furthermore,the polarization loss of GGCN could be increased successfully by porous g-C_(3)N_(4).Ultimately,the EMW absorption property of GGCN is optimized significantly,and GGCN exhibits excellent EMW absorption performance.When the thickness is 2 mm,the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can reach 4.6 GHz,and when the thickness is 4.5 mm,the minimum reflection loss(RLmin)at 4.56 GHz can reach-34.69 dB.Moreover,the practical application of EMWAM was studied by radar cross-section(RCS)simulation,showing that GGCN has a good application prospect.

Thermal management system is a crucial part in electric vehicles to ensure battery safety and driving comfort.A refrigerant-based thermal management system of electric vehicles with two evaporators connected in series(series system)or in parallel(parallel system)is established.The performances of the two systems are investigated and compared.The results reveal that the optimal refrigerant charge is approximately 600 g.Additionally,there is no correlation between the optimal refrigerant charge,and in the arrangement of heat sinks or the heat loads.Under the optimal refrigerant charge,the coefficient of perfor-mance of the series system ranges from 3.47 to 4.71.The coefficient of performance of the parallel system ranges from 3.40 to 4.59,which is lower than that of the series system.Furthermore,the series system has higher exergy efficiency and better cooling performance.The heat source(cabin)with a small thermal mass placed in the rear evaporator of the series system can weaken the lag of its cooling effect.The additional serial evaporator is an alternative solution to the dual-evaporator thermal management system of electric vehicles.

simulation analysis on the regulation of overflow ecological water consumption in arid areas——A case study in the Canmrik ecological area of the mainstream zone of the Tarim River

After analyzing the regulation of overflow ecological water consumption in the Canmrik ecological area of mainstream zone of the Tarim River, in this paper a model of ecological bifurcation is developed, the dynamic overflow process of ecological bifurcation is simulated, and the quantitative relationships between the volume of ecological water consumption and the ecological conservation extent and overflow time are analyzed using GIS, advance of freshet and RS means. The results reveal that the effects of discharge and time of ecological bifurcation on the efficiency of ecological water consump-tion are significant, there is a geometrical exponential relationship between the efficiency of ecological bifurcation and the water supply with different discharges and different times under the same eco-logical water consumption, hypsography plays an important role in ecological water consumption, the regulation of ecological water consumption cannot be equated with the ordinary farming irrigation system, a serious water waste will result and the prospective ecological benefits will not be able to be achieved if an ordinary ecological bifurcation is implemented. The efficiency of ecological water con-sumption can be increased by 30% by selecting the bifurcation schemes in an optimized way, which is of the utmost importance for arid areas with shortage of water resources.

simulation analysis and Optimization of Rolling Process of Steel Rim

In order to solve the problems of rolling forming accuracy and fillet thinning of alloy steel rim, a three-dimensional model of three pass rolling process was established, and the influence of different process parameters on forming quality was analyzed by using the finite element software, and the optimal process parameter combination was obtained. On this basis, the simulation results of wheel rim stress and strain for each pass rolling are analyzed, and the particle tracking technology is introduced to analyze the variation rule of stress in each incremental step. Finally, the simulation and experimental results show that the simulation thickness is basically consistent with the actual thickness, which improves the accuracy of rim rolling forming, and further verifies the correctness of rolling process simulation.

This paper develops a strong secondary development based on ADAMS feature which creates high-speed rail bearings for simulation analysis module. This thesis is in the case of non-circular pattern instructions of how to achieve rapid roller modeling, with analysis of functions and parameters required for the design of the simulation module of the high-speed rail bearing, as well as the design of dialog boxes, the environment and file structure. The specific modules is based on the secondary development language provided by ADAMS ! View. Through the menus, dialog boxes which input parameters, it can achieve high iron bearing automatic modeling, dynamic analysis and post-processing to simplify the analysis of high-speed rail bearing operations, as well as improving the high-speed rail bearing development efficiency.
