In this article, we mainly devote to proving uniqueness results for entire functionssharing one small function CM with their shift and difference operator simultaneously. Letf（z） be a nonconstant entire function of finite order, c be a nonzero finite complex constant, and n be a positive integer. If f（z）, f（z＋c）, and △n cf（z） share 0 CM, then f（z＋c）≡Af（z）, where A（≠0） is a complex constant. Moreover, let a（z）, b（z）（ O） ∈ S（f） be periodic entire functions with period c and if f（z） - a（z）, f（z ＋ c） - a（z）, △cn f（z） - b（z） share 0 CM, then f（z ＋ c） ≡ f（z）.

In agriculture experiments, the response on a given plot may be affected by the treatments on neighboring plots as well as by the treatments applied to that plot. In this paper we consider such type of situations and construct circular neighbor-balanced designs (CNBDs) by the method of cyclic shifts or sets of shifts. An important feature of this method is that the properties of a design can be easily obtained from the sets of shifts instead of constructing the actual blocks of the design. That is, the off-diagonal elements of the concurrence matrix can be easily obtained from the sets of shifts. Since the suggested designs are circular, balanced and binary, so they are universally optimal.

Compositional changes of the bacterioplankton assemblages in four high altitude middle Atlas lakes were monitored over a complete seasonal cycle using combinations of culture-dependent and molecular approaches. Viable bacterial numbers varied between seasons, with the lowest numbers recorded in the winter and the highest in the summer in all four lakes. Also, bacterial occurrences were found to be strongly correlated with water temperature in all the four sites, i.e., Lake Aoua (0.88), Ifreh (0.59), Hechlef (0.77) and Affourgagh (0.79) during the study period. Standard microbiological characterization of bacteria isolates from the lakes revealed majority (68%) to be Gram positive. Seasonal variations in the microbial assemblages among the lakes were also validated by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). shifts in microbial assemblages, especially of the fecal indicator bacteria appeared to also be influenced by differences in the morphometric and watershed characteristics among the lakes. This study further reveals the need to employ combinations of methodological approaches, including taxonomic, physiological and molecular methods to adequately delineate and fully understand the ecology of microbial assemblages in extreme environments.

Macroscopic productions of “non-locality” or “excess correlations” of dynamic changes within media between two spaces could be utilized as alternative communication systems. Previous experiments have shown that injections of a weak acid within one of two volumes of spring water sharing the same patterned circular magnetic fields with changing angular accelerations separated by non-traditional (5 m) distances were associated with opposite (basic) shifts in pH within the non-injected, non-local volume. In the present experiments, employing a different technology, pairs of beakers separated by 1 m containing either 25 cc, 50 cc, or 100 cc of spring water were placed within toroids generating weak (30, 300 nT) changing acceleration magnetic fields with 1 ms, 2 ms, or 3 ms point durations or a field whose point durations changed. When a proton source (weak acid) was injected into one beaker (local) pH shifts in the other (non-local) beaker exhibit increased acidity for the 3 ms point duration but increased alkalinity for the 1 ms duration. Neither intermittent point durations nor variable point durations for the same volumes of water placed between the two magnetic field-coupled beakers exhibited significant changes from baseline. Contingent upon the point duration of the applied field, the pH shift was consistent with a fixed quantity of decreased free protons (increased pH) or increased protons (decreased pH) in the non-local beakers. The opposite directions of the pH shifts at 1 ms and 3 ms that correspond to quantitative cosmological solutions for electrons and protons suggest these results may reflect a fundamental physical process.

The Sing-Song Girls of Shanghai is a typical Chinese dialectal literary work.It has been translated into Mandarin(contemporary standard Chinese)and English versions by Eileen Chang,a famous Chinese writer.Dialect translation is a process involving both intralingual and interlingual translation,in which the strategy of Catford’s Translation shifts is analyzed with examples in three versions of the novel.His theory is grounded on the sacrifice of“formal correspondence”,which,as a kind of translation strategy,attaches more importance to“semantic equivalence”.This article mainly discusses the application of Gatford’s translation level shifts in translating in dialectal literary works.

In this paper we embark on the study of Dynamic Systems of shifts in the space of piece-wise continuous functions analogue to the known Bebutov system. We give a formal definition of a topological dynamic system in the space of piece-wise continuous functions and show, by way of an example, stability in the sense of Poisson discontinuous function. We prove that a fixed discontinuous function, f, is discontinuous for all its shifts, whereas the trajectory of discontinuous function is not a compact set.

It is shown that an anomaly of the spectrum takes place in the interference field when Young's double-slit interference experiment is illuminated by spatially coherent polychromatic light. Specifically, drastic spectral changes (i.e. the spectral shifts exhibit a rapid transition) occur in the vicinity of the dark fringes. The potential applications of this spectral anomaly are also considered.

The relative chemical shifts (△δ) △δwere put forward to investigate the microscopic structure of 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EmimBF4) during the dilution process with water.The concentration-dependent △δ(C2)H-(C4)H,△δ(C2)H-(C5)H and △δ(C4)H-(C5)H were analyzed.The results reveal that the variations of the microscopic structures of three aromatic protons are inconsistent.The strength of the H-bond between water and three aromatic protons follows the order:(C2)H···O > (C4)H···O > (C5)H···O.The concentration-dependent △δ(C6)H-(C7)H and △δ(C6)H-(C8)H indicate the formation of the H-bonds of (Calkyl)H···O is impossible,and more water is located around (C6)H than around (C7)H or (C8)H.The concentration-dependent △δ(C2)H-(C4)H and △δ(C2)H-(C5)H both increase rapidly when xwater > 0.9 or so,suggesting the ionic pairs of EmimBF4 are dissociated rapidly.The turning points of concentration-dependent △δ(C2)H-(C4)H and △δ(C2)H-(C5)H indicate that some physical properties of the EmimBF4/water mixtures also change at the corresponding concentration point.The microscopic structures of EmimBF4 in water could be clearly detected by the relative chemical shifts.
