Describing service-oriented architecture by Extended Darwin

Describing service-oriented architecture （SOA） is critical in the development of Web based system, in this paper, an approach for describing SOA by extended Darwin is proposed. The requirements for describing SOA, which are different from that of ordinary architecture, are highlighted firstly, and then a solution for extending Darwin is presented. Using the extended Darwin, service components and connectors can be described explicit by the extended construct, as well as precise operational semantics of SOA by the π-calculus. Finally an example of supply-chain management system is given for manifesting the effect of the extended Darwin.

Aiming at improving the traditional object-oriented three-layer architecture for collaborative design, a service-oriented framework for mould design is established by adding a Web service layer to decoupling the direct linking of user interface to functional modules,making the system being platform independent and programming language independent,greatly facilitating the reuse of existing software and hardware resources. .NET technology is adopted to implement the framework. An example scenario is introduced to demonstrate how the system works.

In reality, traditional process control system built upon centralized and hierarchical structures presents a weak response to change and is easy to shut down by single failure. Aiming at these problems, a new agent-based service-oriented integration architecture was proposed for chemical process automation system. Web services were dynamically orchestrated on the internet and agent behaviors were built in them. Data analysis, model, optimization, control, fault diagnosis and so on were capsuled into different web services. Agents were used for service compositions by negotiation. A prototype system of poly(ethylene terephthalate) process automation was used as the case study to demonstrate the validation of the integration.

In this letter,we propose a novel three-dimensional conceptual model for an emerging service-oriented simulation paradigm. The model can be used as a guideline or an analytic means to find the potential and possible future directions of the current simulation frameworks. In particular, the model inspects the crossover between the disciplines of modeling and simulation, service-orientation,and software/systems engineering. Finally, two specific simulation frameworks are studied as examples.

Under SOA （service-oriented architecture）, composite service is formed by aggregating multiple component services together in a given workflow. One key criterion of this research topic is QoS composition. Most work on service composition mainly focuses on the algorithms about how to compose services according to assumed QoS, without considering where the required QoS comes from and the selection of user preferred composition algorithm among those with different computational cost and different selection results. In this paper, we propose to strengthen current service composition mechanism by generation of QoS requirement and its algorithm selection based on the QoS reference vectors which are calculated optimally from the existing individual services＇ QoS by registry to represent QoS overview about the best QoS, the worst （or most economical） QoS, or the average QoS of all composite services. To implement QoS requirement, which is determined according to QoS overview, this paper introduces two selection algorithms as two kinds of experiment examples, one aiming at the most accurate service selection and the other chasing for trade-off between selection cost and result. Experimental results show our mechanism can help the requester achieve his expected composite service with appropriate QoS requirement and customized selection algorithm.

This paper focuses on addressing the problem of web service monitoring by evaluating its suitability and privacy in a distributed web service environment(DWS).The need for web services monitoring and evaluation is necessary because the quantity and quality of retrieved web services generally does not fulfill the demands or requirements of the web service *** the literature,many authors proposed suitable solutions for checking the quality of web service in an ad hoc scenario but there is no available testbed for this *** this work,it is proposed to develop a framework as a testbed for evaluating the web service for its suitability and *** order to verify,the retrieved web services fulfill the demands and requirements of the requester in a DWS *** Framework to Evaluate the Web service Suitability(FEWSS)supports service providers in modeling the services with testbed and to design service behavior to comply the service *** generates run-time instances of web services,client’s requests,service registries and other entities in order to emulate realistic SOA *** generating a real testbed,our approach assists in runtime test for provider system/*** focus has been put on the privacy policy extensibility to allow the service providers and users in a complex *** also provides an intuitive interface for testing all services under SOA control.

Secure Cloud architecture for 5G Core Network

service-based architecture(SBA) is a profound advancement in the novel 5 G Core network(5 GC). Existing studies show that SBA can benefit from cloud computing to achieve extensibility, modularity,reusability, and openness. It also brings security problems(e.g., hypervisor hijacking, and malware injection). To provide secure 5 G services, we propose a service-based cloud architecture called Mimicloud for 5 GC based on dynamic and heterogeneous techniques. Mimicloud provides flexible reconfiguration mechanisms to protect containers and eliminate all attack knowledge obtained from adversaries. We use multiple containers to execute crucial services and ensure security with *** employs heterogeneous components to prevent multiple containers from being breached through the same vulnerabilities. Experimental results show that Mimicloud can effectively strengthen the security of the 5 GC. The performance overhead is analyzed in order to demonstrate its scalability.

We propose a self-adaptive process （SAP） that maintains the software architecture quality using the MAPE-K standard model. The proposed process can be plugged into various software development processes and service-oriented meth- odologies due to its explicitly defined inputs and outputs. To this aim, the proposed SAP is integrated with the service-oriented modeling and application （SOMA） methodology in a two-layered structure to create a novel methodology, named self-adaptive service-oriented architecture methodology （SASOAM）, which provides a semi-automatic self-aware method by the composition of architectural tactics. Moreover, the maintenance activity of SOMA is improved using architectural and adaptive patterns, which results in controlling the software architecture quality. The improvement in the maintainability of SOMA is demonstrated by an analytic hierarchy process （AHP） based evaluation method. Furthermore, the proposed method is applied to a case study to represent the feasibility and practicality of SASOAM.

Interpreting spatial data to derive information is a core task in the field of Geographic Information Science and Technology.A logical step following the collection of data in online repositories is to provide geoprocessing technology for analysing data *** geoprocessing technology can be employed for providing a specified set of tools in a theme-specific platform,documenting a model or workflow and making it widely available,automating recurring tasks or offering simple tools to a large user *** systematic analysis of literature evaluates how much available online geoprocessing tools are being used for answering questions in specific application *** initial set of articles is derived from a keyword-based search in the database *** set of articles is manually filtered to identify applications of online geoprocessing *** analysis of application-related articles shows that virtually all applications require further development of *** outside the spatial information science field are still underrepresented regarding the use of this *** required adaptation of technology for user tasks is identified as major barrier for the wide use of online *** research needs to assess user tasks and how online geoprocessing can provide the required functions in a useroriented manner.
