Stability analysis for a second-order continuous finite-time control system subject to a disturbance

In this paper, using finite-time control method, we consider the disturbance analysis of a second-order system with unknown but bounded disturbance. We show that the states of the second-order system will be stabilized to a region containing the origin. The radius of this region is determined by the control parameters and can be rendered as small as desired. The rigorous stability analysis is also given. Compared with the conventional PD control law, the finite-time control law yields a better disturbance rejection performance. Numerical simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.

This paper mainly investigates the cluster consensus problem for second-order nonlinear multi-agent systems with directed topology via pinning control *** algebraic graph theory,matrix theory,and Lyapunov stability theory,a pinning control law is designed for part of agents using the local relative measurements from their *** some sufficient conditions are also proposed to guarantee the realization of cluster ***,the control law is expanded to the special case,i.e.,the double-integrator multi-agent ***,some simulative examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

In this paper,a structure-improved first-order observer is proposed to more accurately estimate the state and its derivative in the second-order ***,under the time-invariant change of coordinates,the novel structure of an improved first-order observer is given to deal with the problem where the derivative of the position estimation is not equal to the estimation of state vector for all time,and further,the sufficient conditions for the existence of such an observer is obtained as a type of the full-actuated second-order Sylvester equations,directly related to the second-order system coefficient ***,on the basis of the proposed existence conditions,the parametric method of the improved first-order observer is presented by adopting the solutions of the Sylvester ***,the correctness of the proposed method is illustrated through numerical simulation about a simple flexible-joint mechanism.
