Blasting engineering in complex urban environments is considered to influence the safety and stability of the overlying drainage box culvert structure owing to ***,field blasting and vibration tests were performed on the blasting engineering of the Wuhan Metro Line 8 connected aisle,and the LS-DYNA software was used to analyze the dynamic response characteristics of an underground drainage box culvert during the blasting *** vibration response evolution law of the buried drainage box culvert under blasting vibration was investigated,and a safe surface control standard for the blast vibration of a drainage box culvert is *** results reveal that the maximum tensile stress of the box culvert structure was 0.33 *** peak particle velocity(PPV)and peak tensile stress(PTS)of the drainage box culvert decreased as the water level in the box culvert *** on the relationship between the tensile stress of the box culvert,PPV of the box culvert,and PPV of the surface,it is proposed that the surface control velocity of the buried drainage box culvert is 1.36 cm/s.

Condensed phosphates are used as food additives,especially in marine products and meat,to improve food *** import and consumption of fishery and processed marine food products in Republic of Korea have reportedly increased by~5 per cent ***,processed marine food products are often intentionally adulterated with excessive amounts of condensed phosphates to increase their *** intake of condensed phosphates via consuming processed marine food products can lead to various adverse effects on human health due to anionic ***,we conducted a safety assessment of condensed phosphates in 14 types of fishery and processed marine food products in Korea for the first *** analysis of various factors including gender,age,and region was also performed,and the risk level of exposure for each group was *** assessments by age and gender indicated that infants were at the highest *** the regional safety assessment,Chungnam,the most inland region,showed the lowest *** both the general and the high-intake groups(95th percentile)in all classifications,the risk was lower(<20 per cent)than the international standard,and the phosphorus content of the 14 types of processed marine products in Korea was confirmed to be safe for human consumption.

Although monosodium glutamate(MSG)is a widely used food additive,its safety and systemic side effects have not been fully *** intestinal flora is closely associated with human health;however,it remains unclear whether MSG consumption can affect health by acting on the intestinal *** this study,serum biomarkers,intestinal structure,intestinal immunity,and intestinal flora were examined to investigate the effects of different doses of sodium glutamate on the body,intestinal function,and intestinal flora of *** results showed that 30 mg/kg MSG had no significant effect on serum C-reactive protein,trimethylamine N-oxide,angiotensin II,intestinal interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-6,tumor necrosis factor-α,secretory IgA and fecal albumin in mice,but also promoted intestinal development and regulated the intestinal ***,1500 mg/kg MSG increased the risk of cardiovascular disease and damaged the intestinal structure and *** this study,MSG was also found to be healthier than salt at the equivalent sodium ***,these findings suggested that low doses of MSG were safe for mice and may have some health benefits as a probiotic by promoting intestinal development and regulating the intestinal flora.

safety assessment of offshore platforms is an urgent task. Such assessments are now focusing on the structure, maintenance, and retirement of a platform. Some methods employed have many shortcomings. For example, they cannot make the reliability adequately explicable. Therefore, a mathematical tool, the unascertained measure, was introduced. First, the basic knowledge of the unascertained sets was introduced briefly. Second, the unascertained measure was defined and credible identification was set up. The method has been introduced into the fields for safety assessment of a jacket loadout procedure. Engineering practices showed that it can complete the safety assessment systematically and scientifically without any assumption. The work should have significance in theory and practice for offshore engineering.

In this paper,overcharge behaviors and thermal runaway(TR)features of large format lithium-ion(Liion)cells with different cathode materials(LiFePO4(LFP),Li[Ni_(1/3)Co_(1/3)Mn_(1/3)]O_(2)(NCM111),Li[Ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)]O_(2)(NCM622)and Li[Ni_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)]O_(2)(NCM811))were *** results showed that,under the same overcharge condition,the TR of LFP Li-ion cell occurred earlier compared with the NCM Li-ion cells,indicating its poor overcharge tolerance and high TR ***,when TR occurred,LFP Li-ion cell exhibited lower maximum temperature and mild TR *** NCM Liion cells caught fire or exploded during TR,while the LFP Li-ion cell only released a large amount of smoke without *** to the overcharge behaviors and TR features,a safety assessment score system was proposed to evaluate the safety of the *** short,NCM Li-ion cells have better performance in energy density and overcharge tolerance(or low TR risk),while LFP Li-ion cell showed less severe response to overcharging(or less TR hazards).For NCM Li-ion cells,as the ratio of nickel in cathode material increases,the thermal stability of the cathode materials becomes poorer,and the TR hazards *** a comparison study on large format Li-ion cells with different cathode materials can provide deeper insights into the overcharge behaviors and TR features,and provide guidance for engineers to reasonably choose battery materials in automotive applications.

The main drawback of conventional braced frames is implicitly accepting structural damage under the design earthquake load, which leads to considerable economic losses. Controlled rocking self-centering system as a modem low-damage system is capable of minimizing the drawbacks of conventional braced frames. This paper quantifies main limit states and investigates the seismic performance of self-centering braced frame using a Probabilistic safety assessment procedure. Margin of safety, confidence level, and mean annual frequency of the self-centering archetypes for their main limit states, including PT yield, fuse fracture, and global collapse, are established and are compared with their acceptance criteria. Considering incorporating aleatory examined. Results of the investigation indicate that the provide the adequate margin of safety against exceeding and epistemic uncertainties, the efficiency of the system is design of low- and mid-rise self-centering archetypes could the undesirable limit-states.

Human Reliability Analysis(HRA)is an important part in safety assessment of a large complex *** Cognitive Reliability(HCR)model is a method of evaluating the probability that operators fail to complete during diagnostic decision making within a limited time,which is widely used in *** the application of this method,cognitive patterns of humans are required to be considered and classified,and this process often relies on the evaluation opinions of experts which is highly subjective and *** to effectively express and process this uncertain and subjective information plays a critical role in improving the accuracy and applicability of *** this paper,a new model was proposed to deal with the uncertain information which exists in the processes of cognitive pattern classification in ***,an evaluation panel was constructed based on expert opinions and processing including setting corresponding anchor points and qualitative indicators of different cognitive patterns,and mapping them to fuzzy numbers and unit ***,based on the evaluation panel,different analysts judge the cognitive pattern types of actual specific events and provide the level of confidence he or she has in the ***,the evaluation opinions of multiple analysts were expressed and fused based on the Dempster-Shafer Evidence Theory(DSET),and the fused results were applied to the HCR model to obtain the Human Error Probability(HEP).A case study was used to demonstrate the procedure and effectiveness of the proposed method.
