A novel model of the carbon cycle in the Cambrian ocean

The classic model of the carbon cycle suggests that the extensive burial of ^(12)C-enriched organic carbon leads to a positive carbon isotope(δ^(13)C)excursion(CIE),while massive oxidation of organic carbon results in a negative CIE.However,global events such as the BAsal Cambrian Carbon isotope Excursion(BACE)and the Steptoean Positive Carbon Isotope Excursion(spice)are global negative and positive δ^(13)C excursions,respectively,and they also exhibit significant organic carbon burial anomalies,displaying decoupling between carbon isotope anomalies and organic carbon burial.Based on the analyses of the Cambrian carbon cycle and paleoceanographic evolution records from well Tadong2 in the Tarim Basin,we propose a novel model of the carbon cycle in the Cambrian ocean that incorporates oceanic dissolved organic carbon(DOC).Our findings are as follows.(1)The Cambrian ocean maintained substantial DOC reservoirs,which were regulated by ocean currents and paleo-redox conditions and exerted significant influence on the oceanic carbon cycle.(2)The oxidation of the oceanic DOC reservoirs during the early Cambrian led to the BACE and the Asian Phenomenon of the Cambrian petroleum systems,while the expansion of the oceanic DOC reservoirs during the spice resulted in a global positive δ^(13)C excursion and the absence of significant organic carbon burial.(3)The deep-basin sedimentary environment in the eastern depression of the Tarim Basin may have fostered the development of organic-rich black shales during the Furongian Series,corresponding to organic carbon burial during the spice and representing potential prospects for ultra-deep oil and gas exploration.Future research should focus on the formation mechanism,reserve scale,and influencing factors of the oceanic DOC reservoirs,as well as their resource and environmental effects.It is expected that new breakthroughs will be made in the fields of Earth system science and oil and gas exploration.

作为集成电路EDA工具,金光spice能够有效解决我国缺乏自主知识产权集成电路EDA工具的问题,能助力提升我国集成电路教育水平和设计水平。通过详细分析金光spice的技术特点,结合国产工艺及器件模型库,利用金光spice软件的高性能、高精度、高兼容性等优点,提出了从电路图绘制到spice仿真的完整设计流程。基于上述流程,讨论分析了反相器链和施密特触发器电路的原理,并利用金光spice完成了电路的设计与验证,证明基于金光spice的集成电路设计方法能够有效地提高集成电路设计的质量和效率,降低设计的成本和风险,具有较强的实用价值和推广意义。

经典碳循环模型认为,富12C的有机碳大量埋藏导致碳同位素(δ13C)正漂移,有机碳大量氧化则导致δ13C负漂移.然而,寒武系纽芬兰统BACE(BAsal Cambrian Carbon isotope Excursion)事件有着全球性的δ13C负漂移和大规模有机碳埋藏,芙蓉统spice(Steptoean Positive Carbon Isotope Excursion)事件则有着全球性的δ13C正漂移和相对匮乏的有机碳埋藏,均表现为碳同位素异常与有机碳埋藏的失耦特征.通过分析塔里木盆地塔东2井钻井剖面的寒武纪碳循环和古海洋环境演化记录,本研究提出了包括海洋溶解有机碳(DOC)的寒武纪海洋碳循环模型,并取得如下认识:(1)寒武纪海洋依然有着巨大的海洋DOC储库,储库容量受大洋环流和古海洋环境调控,对海洋碳循环有着重要影响;(2)寒武纪早期的海洋DOC储库氧化导致了BACE事件和寒武系油气系统的“亚洲现象”, DOC储库扩容导致spice期间在缺乏有机碳埋藏时形成全球性δ13C正漂移;(3)塔里木盆地东部坳陷深水沉积环境有可能发育芙蓉统富有机质黑色页岩,对应于spice时期的有机碳埋藏,是潜在的超深层油气勘探领域.未来有必要针对海洋DOC储库的形成机制、储量规模及影响因素、资源环境效应三个方面继续开展研究,并有望在地球系统科学和油气资源勘查领域取得新突破.

An spice model for phase-change memory simulations

Along with a series of research works on the physical prototype and properties of the memory cell,an spice model for phase-change memory（PCM） simulations based on Verilog-A language is presented.By handling it with the heat distribution algorithm,threshold switching theory and the crystallization kinetic model,the proposed spice model can effectively reproduce the physical behaviors of the phase-change memory cell.In particular,it can emulate the cell＇s temperature curve and crystallinity profile during the programming process,which can enable us to clearly understand the PCM＇s working principle and program process.

Discovery of spice and carbon isotope stratigraphic correlation of the Cambrian Furongian Series in Tarim Craton, NW China

The Furongian Series of the Cambrian in the Tarim Craton(NW China)is mainly composed of crystalline dolostones,and is an important target for oil and gas exploration.The chronostratigraphic framework of the Furongian Series in the Tarim Craton has not yet been established due to the scarcity of fossils and the absence of the Steptoean Positive Carbon Isotope Excursion(spice),which is the primary global carbon isotope excursion of the Furongian Series.In this study,the spice was discovered by examining the carbon isotopes of the representative drilling wells in the West Platform and East Basin.A positive carbon isotope anomaly withδ13C values ranging from 1.5‰to 1.9‰(PDB),were found in the middle of the Xiaqiulitag Formation of the three drilling wells in the West Platform,and a positive excursion withδ13C values up to 4.0‰(PDB),which is correlated with the spice,was found in the lower limestone of the Tuershaketag Formation in the East Basin.Based on the carbon isotopic data and chemostratigraphic correlation,the chronostratigraphic framework of the Furongian Series across different facies in the Tarim Craton is preliminarily established.The basal boundary of the Furongian Series was preliminarily defined by the occurrence of the spice.Aweak positive anomaly ofδ13C was observed at the base of the Penglaiba Formation of the three boreholes in the West Platform and the top of the Tuershaketag Formation of Tadong-2 well.We propose that the positive anomaly of the carbon isotope above the weak negative anomaly at the base of the Penglaiba Formation and the top of the Tuershaketag Formation can be used to define the Cambrian-Ordovician boundary in the Tarim Craton.

Research on technology of desktop virtualization based on spice protocol and its improvement solutions

Increasingly mature cloud computing technology promotes virtual desktop technology, which can solve many problems existing in traditional computing models. However, virtual desktop solutions introduce the thorny problem of how to deliver a real desktop experience to users, as if they are using it locally, especially when playing video. The spice （simple protocol for independent computing environments） virtual desktop solution provides several image compression algorithms to address this problem with the purpose of making virtual desktops as real as possible. Although different compression algorithms can contribute their own abilities to different images to a large extent, switching between them is a big problem that consumes a large amount of resources to detect the different type of image and also causes jitter of the virtual desktop. This paper proposes a new solution, called spicex, using the JPEG2000 compression algorithm with dynamic compression ratios to solve the problem and finally validates that the performance is better than that of spice. With better quality of user experience and also reducing bandwidth consumption, spicex solution is meaningful in virtual desktop fields and can be widely used.

Behavioral Model of Molecular Gap-Type Atomic Switches and Its spice Integration

Atomic switches can be used in future nanodevices and to realize conceptually novel electronics in new types of computer architecture because of their simple structure, ease of operation, stability, and reliability. The atomic switch is a single solid-state switch with inherent learning abilities that exhibits various nonlinear behaviors with network devices. However, previous studies focused on experiments and nonvolatile memory applications, and studies on the application of the physical properties of the atomic switch in computing were nonexistent. Therefore, we present a simple behavioral model of a molecular gap-type atomic switch that can be included in a simulator. The model was described by three simple equations that reproduced the bistability using a double-well potential and was able to easily be transferred to a simulator using arbitrary numerical values and be integrated into Hspice. Simulations using the experimental parameters of the proposed atomic switch agreed with the experimental results. This model will allow circuit designers to explore new architectures, contributing to the development of new computing methods.
