In order to obtain accurate contact parameters of a particulate material in residual film mixture collected by cotton field machine in Xinjiang,the angle of repose test and inclined plane test were carried *** the tests,the angles of repose of the particulate material with the water content of(6.26±1.5)%and(14.1±2.1)%were measured respectively,as well as the static sliding friction angle between the particulate material and the residual *** the same time,the EDEM software was used to calibrate the coefficient of restitution,static friction coefficient and dynamic friction coefficient between the material and the ***,the second-order response model between contact parameters and the angle of repose and static sliding friction angle was *** addition,the optimal contact parameters between the granular materials and the mulch were obtained by fitting the physical test *** results indicated that the errors between the physical test results and the numerical simulation results are *** was proved that the second-order response model could predict the repose angle of granular materials and the static sliding friction angle between granular materials and farmland *** study could provide theoretical support for the subsequent model construction of the residual film mixture collected by the cotton field machine.

Alpine ecosystems in permafrost region are extremely sensitive to climate *** determine spatial pattern variations in alpine meadow and alpine steppe biomass dynamics in the permafrost region of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China,calibrated with historical datasets of above-ground biomass production within the permafrost region's two main ecosystems,an ecosystem-biomass model was developed by employing empirical spatialdistribution models of the study region's precipitation,air temperature and soil *** model was then successfully used to simulate the spatio-temporal variations in annual alpine ecosystem biomass production under climate *** a 0.44°C decade-1 rise in air temperature,the model predicted that the biomasses of alpine meadow and alpine steppe remained roughly the same if annual precipitation increased by 8 mm per decade-1,but the biomasses were decreased by 2.7% and 2.4%,respectively if precipitation was *** a 2.2°C decade-1 rise in air temperature coupled with a 12 mm decade-1 rise in precipitation,the model predicted that the biomass of alpine meadow was unchanged or slightly increased,while that of alpine steppe was increased by 5.2%.However,in the absence of any rise in precipitation,the model predicted 6.8% and 4.6% declines in alpine meadow and alpine steppe biomasses,*** response of alpine steppe biomass to the rising air temperatures and precipitation was significantly lesser and greater,respectively than that of alpine meadow biomass.A better understanding of the difference in alpine ecosystem biomass production under climate change is greatly significant with respect to the influence of climate change on the carbon and water cycles in the permafrost regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

System identification is an effective way for modeling ship manoeuvring motion and ship manoeuvrability prediction. Support vector machine is proposed to identify the manoeuvring indices in four different response models of ship steering motion, including the first order linear, the first order nonlinear, the second order linear and the second order nonlinear models. Predictions of manoeuvres including trained samples by using the identified parameters are compared with the results of free-running model tests. It is discussed that the different four categories are consistent with each other both analytically and numerically. The generalization of the identified model is verified by predicting different untrained manoeuvres. The simulations and comparisons demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.

Based upon the studies of solutional rates with environment from South China to North China over a range of about 30 。 latitude, this paper discusses some of the consequence with equations. The response model shows that the precipitation is the most important factor influencing the rate of solutional denudation except the lithology, the relief etc., but it is an integrational action on the solution process; at the same time, temperature acts as a threshold in bringing the precipitation into play. These suggest that firstly, the solutional denudation process is a comprehensive response to the multiple factors; secondly, karst solution is a complex response process to the climate, and as an integrated exogenic process under the bioclimate.
