Songpan County is a poverty-stricken county in the four provinces of China,one of the concentrated areas in China. This paper analyzes the effectiveness of land consolidation in Songpan County to promote poverty alleviation and development through specific cases. The results show that land remediation has improved agricultural production conditions,promoted agricultural efficiency,increased farmers' income,improved rural living conditions,promoted the development of urban and rural integration,improved the ecological environment,solved the problem that restricts the survival and development of poverty-stricken areas,enhanced the ability of farmers to develop themselves,raised the level of civilization in rural areas,and promoted poverty alleviation and development. The poverty alleviation and development has provided certain financial support for land remediation. It has promoted land remediation,and pointed out key directions for land remediation. It has an indirect promotion effect on land remediation.

The remediation of contaminated soil has become one of largeconcerns currently. In this previous experiment, the thiol-modified nanosilicawas theremediator for heavy metals copper and nickel in the *** optimal remediation parameters were determined byoptimizing the fixed time,The morphological changes of heavy metals in soil before and afterfixation were studied by a tessier sequential extraction procedureand DTPA sequential producedure. The main results were as follows: the optimum remediation time wasabove 28 d, when the water content in soils was 100% of maximum field capacity and the dosages ofthiol-modified nanosilica was 0.5%(w/w). After the remediation,theavailable andwater-soluble Cu and Ni content significantly decreased.

In this study, the environmental remediation mode of marine industries was investigated by using utilization of sea water in combination with thermal power generation. As an ocean state owning a broad sea frontier, China has a very great potential in development and utilization of marine resources. With the rapid development of urban industrialization, environmental problems become more and more serious, and the situation of soil pollution is not optimistic. As an important industrial raw material,chromate has been used for the production of various products, while it brings serious chromium pollution. Therefore, a lot of works have been carried out on the decontamination of chromium contaminated soil. The nanomaterials have become a hot research topic because of their unique structures and good performance. Such nanomaterials could be divided into six categories, that is,zero-valent metals, carbonaceous nanomaterials, metal oxide(sulfur) compounds, semiconductors clay minerals, and nano polymers. This paper summarized the achievements and the applications of such materials in remediating Cr-contaminated soil at home and abroad. It showed zero-valent metals and metal oxide(sulfur) compounds are mainly used for the treatment of hexavalent chromium contaminated soil, while other materials are relatively less. Finally, the characteristic, advantage and deficiency of the nanomaterials for the treatment of hexavalent chromium soils were summarized, as well as the application prospects were also proposed, which would provide useful information for the further research in the future.

This study presents a large-scale failure of a disused external waste dump at the Dagushan iron mine,one of the deepest iron open pit mines in *** landslide involved 7,000,000 m3 in volume of loose mass *** material,gravel and *** failure mode of the slope is described based on the detailed results of field *** investigation was carried out to obtain mechanics parameters for stability *** cases were simulated by SLOPE/W,which is based on limit equilibrium method,to estimate the failure mode and dominant cause for *** results indicate that,the entire slope is stable under undisturbed condition,the factor of safety decreases as slope toe cutting,and the slope become unstable as moisture of basement clay increases to *** failure initiates at the toe of the slope and then extends to the crest of the *** slip circle generates from the crest position and touches the *** for the landslide including cutting and unloading,gabion retaining wall,and drainage are *** results show that these measures were effective in controlling the landslide.

Contaminated soils, if left untreated, can pose a significant environmental risk. Several techniques that have been developed in the past for remediation of soils contaminated with hydrocarbon are described. Pbenomenological details of two of the more promising techniques, i.e, soil vapor extraction with preheating of an inlet air and injection of low grade steam, are included.

This study aimed to remediate in-situ leach mining contaminated soil by amendment-plant synergism. The results showed that plant species exhibited ex-tremely significant effects on the concentration of nitrate nitrogen; to be specific, the concentration of nitrate nitrogen in soil planted with wheat was reduced from 692.19 mg/kg to lower than 100 mg/kg; when the mass ratio of amendment to soil reached 3：50 and the amendment particle size was 1-2 mm, the concentration of nitrate ni-trogen in soil planted with wheat was reduced to 43 mg/kg. The amendment type exhibited extremely significant effects on the concentration of ammonium nitrogen; to be specific, when the mass ratio of amendment to soil reached 10：50, the concen-tration of ammonium nitrogen in soil added with 2-3 mm zeolite was reduced from 23 593.75 to 3 300 mg/kg on day 15. Amendments and plants mainly exhibited desorption performance for sulfate radical in soil, and the amendment type extreme-ly significantly affected the concentration of sulfate radical; to be specific, the con-centration of sulfate radical in soil added with limestone increased from 370 mg/kg to 900 mg/kg on day 7.

[Objective] The research aimed to study the effects of fertilization on soil remediation.[Method]Pot fertilizer tests were conducted to remedy the soils which had off-balanced in nutrients resulted by long-term unreasonable fertilization.[Result]The results showed that applying NPK fertilizers with manure was the best method to restore the soil nutrients and increase soil fertility and crop yield;NPK and NP fertilizers could balance soil fertility and increase crop yields,the effects were the same and next to *** and nitrogen respectively had the similar restoring effect with NPK fertilizers on soil from long-term NK and PK treatments.[Conclusion]Crops in soil with long-term applying NPK fertilizers had strong dependence on *** yields of corn and wheat decreased by 78.6% and 52.8% respectively after stopping applying ***,The yields of corn and wheat increased by 112% and 182% respectively after stopping applying fertilizers in NK treatment as well as 15.1% and 59% in PK *** had strong and last effect on increasing yield.
