The authors worked out a simulation model of technological mineral dressing processes,in which two simulations of technological mineral dressing processes methods are used:transformed structural graph method and method of separation *** first method makes it possible to simulate technological mineral dressing processes at the design stage in conditions of feedstock,equipment and control information *** second method is an effective instrument for operating plant simulation at the reengineering *** and economic efficiency evaluations of the mineral dressing plant are appended to the model.

This paper focuses on BPR oriented business process model based on Petri net. First, the necessary features and requirements for BPR oriented model are analyzed. Then a BPR oriented business process model (BPM) based on Petri net is proposed, and two groups of its model mechanisms are discussed. Then, how to use the proposed BPM for modeling, analyzing and optimizing the business process is further explored. At last, an example is illustrated.

Modeling and simulation tools are essential to success of attempts at business process reengineering(BPR). This paper reviews the support tools used in earlier BPR practice and directs out the needs for more comprehensive and integrated tools. A conceptual framework to specify a BPR tool is proposed within which the key features are discussed. Five typical software packages are selected as samples to be tested and compared based on the framework. The result of this comparative review can serve as suggestion for purchasing a off-the-shelf product or requirement specification to develop a customized tool.

A new method for the development of post and telecommunication information systems (PTIS) is presented in the paper. The advantages of traditional methods such as life-cycle method, prototyping method, and object-oriented method are synthesized in the new method. By establishing a general model of PTIS, the new method makes the developing life cycle shorter, quicker and more flexible.

In this paper we present the main phases of the BP-M* methodology and its application to a care pathway for patients in the Oncology Division of a large hospital, to evaluate pros and cons of different drug administration modalities and the impact of these modalities to the organizational process. BP-M* has been developed for the manufacturing sector but the relevance of business modeling, analysis and reorganization is not restricted to a specific sector. The aim of this work is to show its application to a real life study of a complex process in the health sector.

Assembling paradigms programming are based on the reuses in any programming language (PL) with the passport data of their settings in WSDL. The method of assembling is formal and secures co-operation of the different reuses (module, object, component, service and so on) being developed. A formal means of these paradigms creation with help of interfaces is presented. Interface IDL (Stub, Skeleton) is containing data and operations for transmission data to other standard elements linked and describes in the standard language IDL. Assembling will be realized by integration of reuses elements in these paradigms on the instrumental-technological complex (ITC).

When a firm decides to implement ERP softwares, the resulting consequences can pervade all levels, includ- ing organization, process, control and available information. Therefore, the first decision to be made is which ERP solution must be adopted from a wide range of offers and vendors. To this end, this paper describes a methodology based on multi-criteria factors that directly affects the process to help managers make this de- cision. This methodology has been applied to a medium-size company in the Spanish metal transformation sector which is interested in updating its IT capabilities in order to obtain greater control of and better infor- mation about business, thus achieving a competitive advantage. The paper proposes a decision matrix which takes into account all critical factors in ERP selection.
