Actors'relocation is utilized during the network initialization to enhance real-time performance of wireless sensor and actor networks(WSANs)which is an important issue of *** actor deployment problem in WSANs is proved NP-Hard whether the amount of actors is redundant or not,but to the best of our knowledge,no effective distributed algorithms in previous research can solve the *** two actor deployment strategies which need not the boundary control compared with present deployment strategies are proposed to solve this problem approximately based on the Voronoi *** simulation experiment,the results show that our distributed strategies are more effective than the present deployment strategies in terms of real-time performance,convergence time and energy consumption.

Recently,stereo matching algorithms based on end-to-end convolutional neural networks achieve excellent performance far exceeding traditional *** state-of-the-art stereo matching networks mostly rely on full cost volume and 3D convolutions to regress dense disparity *** modules are computationally complex and high consumption of memory,and difficult to deploy in real-time *** overcome this problem,we propose multilevel disparity reconstruction network,MDRNet,a lightweight stereo matching network without any 3D *** use stacked residual pyramids to gradually reconstruct disparity maps from low-level resolution to full-level resolution,replacing common 3D computation and optimization *** approach achieves a competitive performance compared with other algorithms on stereo benchmarks and real-time inference at 30 frames per second with 4×104 resolutions.

This paper proposes a new deep learning framework for the location of broken insulators(in particular the self-blast glass insulator)in aerial *** address the broken insulators location problem in a low signal-noise-ratio(SNR)*** deal with two modules:1)object detection based on Faster R-CNN,and 2)classification of pixels based on *** the first time,our paper combines the above two *** combination is motivated as follows:Faster R-CNN is used to improve SNR,while the U-net is used for classification of pixels.A diverse aerial image set measured by a power grid in China is tested to validate the proposed ***,a comparison is made among different methods and the result shows that our approach is accurate in real time.

real-time task scheduling is of primary significance in multiprocessor *** deadlines and achieving high system utilization are the two main objectives of task scheduling in such *** this paper,we represent those two goals as the minimization of the average response time and the average task *** achieve this,we propose a genetic-based algorithm with problem-specific and efficient genetic *** control parameters are also employed in our work to improve the genetic algorithms' *** simulation results show that our proposed algorithm outperforms its counterpart considerably by up to 36% and 35% in terms of the average response time and the average task laxity,respectively.

A state-of-the-art sensorweb is a global observation system for varied sensory phenomena from the physical world and the cyber world. This paper presents the architecture, design, and application of a sensorweb service portal called the LiveWeb. This portal has been published on the Internet and is used by researchers, students, and also other communities. This system has been used to represent and monitor real-time physical sensor data and cyber activities from ubiquitous sources. LiveWeb meets its goal of pro- viding an efficient and robust sensor information oriented web service, enabled with real-time data repre- sentation and notification. Living in the current world with the immense magnitude of information, it is impor- tant to keep different communities updated and informed with their context specific data. There are search engines available in the Internet to find relatively static items, but not to observe the events in real-time. In addition, mostly the sensed data and events have meaning only when accompanied with corresponding geographic information. LiveWeb is an effective and efficient sensorweb service, that tries to fulfill the aforementioned requirements. The LiveWeb system consists of three main components：（a） special features of a PHP web application, （b） a Java background processing program, and （c） a database. It is a robust system and is currently running efficiently under the environment of Ubuntu 6.10, Apache 2.0, PHP 5.0, JAVA 1.60, and MySQL 1.6.

A new real-time algorithm for the autonomous navigation of mobile robots equipped with laser scanners is proposed in this *** from the existing algorithms designed for 2-dimensional navigation problems,the new algorithm introduces the height information of the obstacles into the guidance process and behaves as a 2.5-dimensional angle potential field algorithm (2.5D-APF) to fulfill the navigation requirements under complex outdoor terrain ***,one laser scan is partitioned into two kinds of function sectors: guidance sector and inspecting ***,the guidance sector and the inspecting sectors are reconstructed to form a virtual guidance scan,where the 2.5D information is taken into ***,the conventional APF is improved to analyze the virtual guidance scan and generate the navigation *** new algorithm is tested on a tracked mobile robot,and the experimental results validate the proposed algorithm.

The molecular techniques including Northern blot, dot blot, in situ hybridization, etc. have been successfully used to estimate semi-quantitatively mRNA levels in plant samples. In this study, we employed a real-time reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) assay using SYBR Green I fluorescence methodology to evaluate accurate quantitation and sequence specific detection of Aux/IAA mRNA levels in Arabidopsis. Results obtained indicate a linear dynamic range of 102-106 Aux/IAA mRNA copies with standard deviations of generally less than 15%. As a model experiment, the outcome of analysis of expression patterns of five Aux/IAA genes in Arabidopsis under various chemical and temperature treatments is presented. The method presented here provides a sensitive and rapid technique to evaluate plant Aux/IAA mRNA expression levels in nanogram order.

Objective:To develop diagnostic test for detection chikungunya virus(CHIKV and Dengue virus (DENV) ***:We have performed a rapid,accurate laboratory confirmative method to simultaneously detect,quantify and differentiate CHIKV and DENV infection by single-step multiplex real-time ***:The assay’s sensitivity was 97.65%,specificity was 92.59% and accuracy was 95.82%when compared to conventional ***,there was no cross-reaction between CHIKV,DENV,Japanese encephalitis virus,hepatitis C,hepatitis A or hepatitis E ***:This rapid and reliable assay provides a means for simultaneous early diagnosis of CHIKV and DENV in a single-step reaction.
