Optimal linear estimator for discrete-time systems with random delays

In this paper, optimal estimation for discrete-time linear time-varying systems with randomly state and measurement delays is considered. By introducing a set of binary random variables, the system is converted into the one with both multiplicative noises and constant delays. Then, an estimator which includes the cases of smoothing and filter- ing, is derived via the projection formula, and the solution is given in terms of a partial difference Riccati equation with boundary conditions. A predictor for such systems is also presented based on the proposed filter and smoother. The ob- tained estimators have the same dimension as the original state. Conditions for existence, uniqueness, and stability of the steady-state optimal estimators are studied for time-invariant cases. In this case, the obtained estimators are very easy to implement and all calculations can be performed off line, leading to a linear time-invariant estimator.

This paper is concerned with the multi-sensor optimal information fusion issues for discrete-time systems with random delayed which is *** random delayed system is reconstructed as an equivalent delay-free one by means of the measurement reorganization technique when the random delay is *** on the altered system model,firstly an optimal linear filter is presented for each sensor by the projection *** then the state fusion estimation is developed by applying the scalar-weighted fusion *** that the fusion estimation has high accuracy and has the same dimension as the original systems,which reduces the computational burden ***,a numerical example is presented to illustrate the efficiency of proposed estimators.

Aiming at the linear time invariant or the parameters preliminary given for the multisensor target tracking system,this paper develops a random delayed Kalman filter fusion estimator based on equivalent conversion for multisensor *** algorithm effectively uses the characteristics of Kalman filter statistical parameters which can be calculated out of line,and the calculated form of measurements weighted summation under Linear Minimum Mean Square Error （LMMSE） ***,it transformed the multisensor system into the single sensor order form based on the idea of ***,it utilizes the method of one step prediction estimate and measurements prediction residual compensation to get the optimal weighting coefficient though calculating out of line and adjusting ***,it can realize the optimal update of the random delay *** last,Algorithm analysis and computer simulation indicates that this algorithm is validity and advantage.

This paper is concerned with the estimation problem for discrete-time stochastic linear systems with possible single unit delay and multiple packet dropouts. Based on a proposed uncertain model in data transmission, an optimal full-order filter for the state of the system is presented, which is shown to be of the form of employing the received outputs at the current and last time instants. The solution to the optimal filter is given in terms of a Riccati difference equation governed by two binary random variables. The optimal filter is reduced to the standard Kalman filter when there are no random delays and packet dropouts. The steady-state filter is also investigated. A sufficient condition for the existence of the steady-state filter is given. The asymptotic stability of the optimal filter is analyzed.

This paper is concerned with the distributed fusion filtering problem for networked multi-sensor systems with multiple random transmission delays（RTDs） and packet dropouts（PDs）.Based on the new model and local filters（LFs）proposed in a recent literature,the distributed fusion filter weighted by scalars（DFFWS） is given in the linear minimum variance（LMV） *** cross-covariance matrices（CCMs） between any two local filtering errors are derived to compute the fusion weights（FWs）.The measured data of each sensor are transmitted to the local processor（LP） over different communication channels with different RTD and PD *** each moment,the LP may receive one or multiple data packets or *** at individual LPs are transmitted to the fusion center to obtain a fusion filter.A simulation example shows the effectiveness.

In industrial Internet of Things systems,state estimation plays an important role in multisensor cooperative ***,the state information received by remote control center experiences random delay,which inevitably affects the state estimation ***,the computation and storage burden of remote control center is very huge,due to the large amount of state information from all *** address this issue,we propose a layered network architecture and design the mobile edge computing(MEC)enabled cooperative sensing *** particular,we first characterize the impact of random delay on the error of state *** on this,the cooperative sensing and resource allocation are optimized to minimize the state estimation *** formulated constrained minimization problem is a mixed integer programming problem,which is effectively solved with problem decomposition based on the information content of delivered data *** improved marine predators algorithm(MPA)is designed to choose the best edge estimator for each sensor to pretreat the sensory ***,the simulation results show the advantage and effectiveness of proposed scheme in terms of estimation accuracy.

For linear discrete-time stochastic systems with multiple random measurement delays and packet dropouts, we give a new augmented method by introducing measurement outputs into the augmented state vector. Based on this augmented state vector, the optimal linear estimators including filter, predictor and smoother are developed in the linear minimum variance sense. They can reduce the computational burden compared with the augmented method in the existing literature. A simulation example verifies their effectiveness.

This study considers the distributed fusion filtering problem for uncertain systems with delays and censoring measurements. Multiplicative noises are used for describing the uncertainties of system. The local filter is presented according to Tobit regression model. Then, the fusion filter is designed taking account of the correlated truncated measurement noises. A simulation example is finally provided to show the performance.
