Fourier-transform infrared（FTIR）,raman and ultraviolet-visible spectra of 4,4＇-bipyridine and its me-tal-organic coordination compounds synthesized from 4,4＇-bipyridine and nitrate of Co（Ⅱ）,Ni（Ⅱ） and Zn（Ⅱ） were measured and analyzed,respectively.The main FTIR and raman bands were assigned in detail.The relationship between these characteristic bands and the structure of ligands and coordination compounds were discussed.

Copper selenide（Cu3Se2/thin films have been synthesized with Se as the precursor in aqueous solution by chemical bath deposition technique at room temperature.We have investigated the influence of the growth time ranging from 30 to 90 min on structural,optical and electrical properties of Cu3Se2 thin films.The as-grown film at 60 min exhibits a tetragonal structure and is（101）oriented.The maximum value of crystal size DD55 nm is attained for Cu3Se2 films grown at 60 min.The raman spectrum reveals a pronounced peak at 259 cm 1,which is assigned to vibrational（stretching）modes from the covalent Se–Se bonds.The optical band gap energy is 1.91 to2.01 eV with growth time increased from 30 to 90 min.The scanning electron microscopy（SEM）study reveals that the grains are uniform and spread over the entire surface of the substrate of the film at 60 min.The Hall effect study reveals that the film exhibits p-type conductivity.The synthesized film showed good absorbance in the visible region which signifies that synthesized Cu3Se2 films can be suitable as a sensitized material in semiconductor sensitized solar cells.

Effects of drying methods on the structure and emulsifying capacity of egg yolk lecithin

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of different drying methods,including ultrasonic vacuum drying,vacuum drying,vacuum freeze-drying,hot-air drying and spray drying,on the structure and emulsifying capacity of egg yolk lecithin based on raman spectra.The results showed that ultrasonic vacuum drying and spray drying can induce the vibration of C-N bonds in the polar O-C-C-N^(+)head skeleton of egg yolk lecithin.The shift of the peak attributed to the C-N bond from 717 cm^(−1)to 774 and 772 cm^(−1)indicated that the vibration of some C-N bonds in the O-C-C-N^(+)skeleton had transformed from gauche to trans.Ultrasonic vacuum drying exerted the most intense effect on the C-C skeleton of egg yolk lecithin,with the greatest vibration peaks at 1062 cm^(−1),1128 cm^(−1),and 1097 cm^(−1)in the raman spectra of egg yolks.Specifically,it relieved gauche vibration and strengthened trans vibration in the C-C skeleton.Hence,the I_(gauche)/I_(trans)ratio of the egg yolk lecithin processed through ultrasonic vacuum drying decreased.Ultrasonic vacuum drying and spray drying decreased the I_(2850)/I_(2878)ratio of the vibration peak of C-H bonds in the lipid chains of egg yolk lecithin.The weakening of the symmetric stretching vibration of the C-H bond and the strengthening of antisymmetric stretching vibration indicated that orderliness among the molecular chains of lipid bilayer membranes had increased,whereas liquidity had decreased.The emulsifying capacities were highly significantly different among various egg yolk lecithin samples,in which the highest emulsifying capacity(49.58 m^(2)/g)was shown for the egg yolk lecithin prepared through vacuum freeze-drying,and ultrasonic vacuum drying produced the lowest emulsifying capacity(14.77 m^(2)/g).This study demonstrated that ultrasonic vacuum drying and spray drying drastically affected the structure of egg yolk lecithin.The appropriate drying method can be selected based on sample volume and production situation.

The temperature dependence of surface en-hanced raman scattering of the C70 molecule is reported. The raman scattering of C70 molecules adsorbed on the sur-face of a silver mirror was measured at different tempera-tures. The experimental results indicate that the relative in-tensities of the raman features vary with the temperature of the sample. When the temperature decreases from room temperature to 0℃, the relative intensities of certain raman bands decrease abruptly. If we take the strongest band 1565 cm-1 as a standard value 100, the greatest decrease ap-proaches to 43%. However, with the further decrease in the temperature these relative intensities increase and resume the value at room temperature. And such a temperature de-pendence is reversible. Our results show that the adsorption state of the C70 molecules on the silver surface around 0℃ changes greatly with the temperature, resulting in a decrease in relative intensities for some main raman features of C70 molecule. When the temperature is lower than 0℃, the ad-sorption state changes continually and more slowly. Syn-chronously, eight new raman features, which have not ever been reported in literature, are observed in our experiment and this enriches the basic information of the vibrational modes for C70 molecule.

raman scattering is a powerful nondestructive technique that gives vibrational information about organic and inorganic materials. raman scattering features, such as intensity, frequency and width, are strongly dependent on compositions, defects, short-range orders, crystal structures, and internal stresses of materials. Therefore, it has been widely used to obtain detailed information about the structural properties of semiconductors, high-Tc superconductors, ceramics, catalysts, carbon based materials, and Ⅲ-Ⅴ valent metallic nitride materials, including lattice perfection, strain, crystalline, interface, and compositional uniformity[1].

Diamond-like carbon (DLC) films have been deposited using pure CH4 generated in a surface wave plasma equipment, where a hot filament is used to make the discharge easily and provides a certain amount of heat feeding to the samples. The deposited films are charac- terized by raman spectrum, scanning electronic microscopy and infrared absorption spectrum techniques. The electron density increases with the filament current and the raman signal is stronger and sharper with a current adding to the filament, indicating that the hot filament can improve film quality by increasing the electron density. Meanwhile, films with stronger and sharper raman peaks around 1332 cm-1 and 1600 cm-1, denser and size-unchanging clusters, and obvious stretching mode of CH3 or CH2 under a direct current (dc) bias of -60 V are shown respectively by raman spectrum, scanning electronic microscopy photos and infrared absorption spectrum. The content calculated by decomposition of raman spectrum of the film is 44% under the dc bias of -60 V.

The polarized raman spectrum of NaBF4single crystal measured by use of different geometric arrangements are reported. The obvious anisotropy of the crystal results in the degradation of degenerated modes of BF4. Experiments show that the vibration frequencies decrease with the increasing of temperature. But when it above the phase transition point the v1symmetric stretching vibration is restored. From this, the phase transition temperature can be estimated to be 250℃ (523K).

A laboratory method combining the high-energy mechanical ball milling and high static pressure has been suggested for modelling synthesis of coesite in the Earth's crust. A window of milling time, a mechanical collision-induced intermediate phase ofα-quartz and its condition of easily crystallizing into coesite under the condition of 3.0 GPa, 923 K, raman spectra for the coesite synthesized by the present method have covered all the information of those natural and synthesized coesites reported before. It is demonstrated that this method has a great potential in geo-science research and implied the other possible mechanism of coesite formation in the Earth's crust.

　　金刚石对顶砧(diamond anvil cell,DAC)装置(如图1所示)是目前产生压力最高的静态高压实验装置,它以金刚石单晶作对顶砧单轴挤压样品产生高压,由于金刚石在很宽的能量范围对光子(可见光、高能X射线等)透明,在高压实验中可以通过显微镜观察样品,并可对样品进行高压原位X射线衍射和光谱(红外光谱、raman光谱等)测试,这一特点使其在高压科学领域得到广泛的应用.在高压原位raman光谱测试中,激发光源透过金刚石对顶砧照射到样品上产生raman信号,样品的raman信号穿过金刚石对顶砧经显微镜物镜收集并最终被探测器接收.与常规的raman光谱测试相比,基于DAC装置的高压原位raman光谱测试光路中多出了金刚石对顶砧,需要采用长焦物镜收集信号,并且随着实验压力的升高,样品的raman信号强度降低,因此提高信噪比是获得较高质量高压原位raman光谱的关键,而金刚石对顶砧的荧光本底是影响信噪比的关键因素.本文通过对20多颗金刚石对顶砧进行raman光谱测试,对金刚石的raman光谱信号(一级和二级)和非随机噪声进行了系统的评估,并结合高压原位raman光谱测试的具体特点,探讨金刚石对顶砧荧光本底对测试结果的影响.……
