Treatment of Popliteal Cyst through radiofrequency thermocoagulation under Ultrasound Guidance

Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the clinical efficacy and security of the treatment of popliteal cyst through radiofrequency thermocoagulation (RFT) under ultrasound guidance. Methods: The clinical data of 35 patients with popliteal cyst, who were treated by RFT under ultrasound guidance from June 2019 to June 2020, were retrospectively analyzed. The Visual Analogue Scores (VAS) and the size of cyst before and after treatment were recorded at the first month, the third month, the sixth month. After six months, the recovery rate of Rauschning and Lindgren classification (R-L classification) level 0, 0 - I were counted. All the complications of the patients were observed. Results: 32 patients were followed up for six months. The scores and cyst sizes of each patient before and after the treatment were on a normal distribution curve. There was no significant difference in VAS scores before and after the treatment (P > 0.05). However, there was a significant difference in cyst sizes before and after the treatment (P 0.05). According to the R-L classification in 6 months after treatment: the recovery rate of class 0 was 62.5% and class 0 - I level was 87.5%. There were no serious complications in the process. Conclusion: Treatment of popliteal cyst through RFT under ultrasound guidance is a simple, easy, reliable method that is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective:Prime trigeminal neuralgia(PTN) is characterized by intermittent,paroxysmal,and lancinating pain along the distribution of the trigeminal *** study is to evaluate the efficacy of different conservative or minimally invasive measures on treating trigeminal neuralgia by dealing with peripheral nerve ***:From Jan 2011 to Jan 2014,1490 patients suffered from primary trigeminal neuralgia were included in this *** patients were randomly divided into five *** number of patients in the five groups was 240,220,290,330,320 *** adjustment and neural destruction modalities are utilized in this *** neural adjustment method,there were two groups:Group Ⅰ,and Ⅱ.In group Ⅰ,vitB12 are applied,and in group Ⅱ,Mouse nerve growth factor is *** injection modality,bone foramen was utilized,such as infra-orbital foramen,nasal-palatine foramen,greater palatine foramen,mental *** branches of trigeminal nerve were associated with certain *** neural destruction,there are 3 groups:group Ⅲ,group Ⅳ,group Ⅴ.In group Ⅲ,Adriamycin injection is *** radiofrequency ablation therapy is applied in group Ⅳ,and multiple radiofrequency ablation combined with adriamycin injection in group *** therapeutic effects were evaluated by VAS score at regular time intervals,as well as sleep time before and after ***:The classification was made according to age,healthy conditions,individual requirements,and treatment *** neural adjustment modality,the 1st group showed the effective rate was 58% by the end of the 1st month,18% by the end of 36th *** the 2nd group showed 76% of an effective rate at the 1st month after treatment,20% by the end the 36 th *** was NO significant difference between both groups according to *** time going,both groups showed the effective rate decreased remarkably and the recurrence rate increased *** the neural destructio
