The reform stems from honesty and determination. Since 2005, organ donation and transplantation in China has undergone thorough reform, which complies with legislation requirements and ethical principles established by the World Health Organization(WHO). reform in China has demonstrated the unwavering confidence and utmost determination of the Chinese government and the Chinese transplantation community. The year 2015 marked a historic turning point when voluntary donations from Chinese citizens became the sole legitimate source for organ transplantation. Since 2015, China has gradually established and refined the “Chinese Mode” and “China System” for organ donation and transplantation, fulfilling its political pledge of reform, and has garnered international recognition, and fostered a social culture which promotes organ donation. This article reviewed the history of reform on organ donation and transplantation in China, presented a new pattern of establishment of organ donation system in the new era of the country, and the direction of advances in the future.

How did the price and income elasticities of natural gas demand in China evolve from 1999 to 2015? The role of natural gas price reform

As a cleaner,high-efficiency,and low-carbon fuel,natural gas has been an important fuel resource for *** achieve a substantial increase in natural gas demand,China has sought to reform its natural gas pricing *** a set of unbalanced panel data for China’s 30 provinces covering 1999-2015,this study aims to estimate the evolving price and income elasticities of natural gas demand and explore the effect of natural gas price reform in *** this purpose,a series of econometric techniques allowing for cross-sectional dependence and slope homogeneity is *** results suggest that although natural gas demand in China still lacks negative price elasticity,the phenomenon is ***,the estimates suggest that natural gas demand in China is indeed becoming increasingly sensitive to income *** estimates also provide strong evidence in favor of the effect of natural gas price reform on the change in price elasticity as the price elasticity decreases in five of the seven *** addition,the results indicate large variations in the change in price and income elasticities of natural gas demand across China’s *** gas demand is becoming more price inelastic in Southwest China and Northwest China,while such demand in North China and East China responds less sensitively to income *** findings offer several policy suggestions for the reform of China’s natural gas market at the national and regional levels.

Exploration of the Target Mode for China's reform

The exploration of the target mode for China’s reform has gone through a winding path:from the initial stage without clear target by blindly learning from Yugoslavia and Hungary,to the 1980s when someone proposed to set Japan and Germany as a model,then to the 1990s when the American mode was *** is after the occurrence of three great events,i.e.,the collapse and fall of the Soviet Union,the serious economic crisis in the USA and the growth miracle of China,that Chinese people come to realize that the target mode——the new system to be established for China’s reform——should be the combination of the socialist market economy and the socialist democracy ruled by law.

There are a number of factors involved in teaching quality. Among them teaching materials or textbooks are of primary importance, the presentation of which relies first of all on the viewpoint to structure the contents geographically. Whatever branch of geography you are teaching or in pursuit, geographical viewpoint is vitally important. This paper in discussing innovation of geographical education about these institutions with the course of regional physical geography as an example. The higher education of our discipline is in pressing need of innovation and thereby upgrading quality.

reform and Innovation of Urban Master Planning: Taking Dongguan as an Example

This paper analyzes the function of a master plan and the growing emphasis on its public policy attribute, and argues that in terms of the current plan formulation, major disadvantages of current master planning lie in the physical spatial epistemology, the blueprint-oriented work method, and over-technical expression of the planning deliveries. Based on the reform and innovation in formulating the City Master Plan of Dongguan(2016 – 2030), the paper explores experiences of Dongguan on spatial structure, planning management and control approaches, and delivery format.

Leaving year 2017 China＇s macroeconomy is continuously characterized by unbalanced and inadequate development. Whereas some aggregate indicators have shown improvement over the year, the cumulative growth rates in consumption and fixed asset investment have continued theirdownward trajectories. Worsening income inequality and resource misallocations, both between secondary and tertiary industries, and within the latter, pose serious challenges, let alone the systemic risk associated with the flourishing shadow banking system, rapid credit growth and debt overhang that weigh on the Chinese economy like the Sword of Damocles. This summary report highlights both the status quo and the consequences of the unbalanced and inadequate development embodied in China＇s persistently distorted economic structure, and the role of deepening reforms of the institutions and governance in resolving the problems. Our analyses based on IAR-CMM model provide a unified framework for addressing China＇s short-, medium-, and long-term issues ir~ an internally coherent manner. Looking into year 2018, our benchmark projection of real GDP growth rate is 6.7% （6.41% using more reliable rather than the official data）. Alternative scenario analyses and policy simulations are conducted to reflect various aspects of the economic challenges in the short to long runs. Through the lens of these analyses we conclude that rule-of-law based and market-oriented structural reforms should continue to hold a center stage in China＇s transition from a phase of high-speed but unbalanced growth, to a stage of balanced and adequate high-quality development.

Twenty nineteen(2019)marked another year of lethargic growth in the Chinese economy amidst escalated internal and external ***,the country's macroeconomic landscape was overcast continuously by fallen consumption growth,plunged growth in manufacturing investment,rapid accumulation of household debt,risen income inequality,and the overhang of local government *** nation's external conditions did not fare any better,with drastically declined growth in imports and exports,continued trade tensions with the US,and weakened external *** on the IAR-CMM model,which takes account of both cyclical and secular factors,the baseline real GDP growth rate is projected to be 6.0%in 2020(5.9%using more reliable rather than the official data),with a downside *** scenario analyses and policy simulations are conducted,in addition to the benchmark forecast,to reflect the influences of various internal and external *** findings emanated from these analyses lead us to stress the importance and urgency of deepening reform to achieve competitive neutrality for China’s transformation into a phase with sustainable and high-quality development.

The Stagnant Export Upgrading in Northeast China:Evidence from Value-added Tax reform

China's 2004 value-added tax(VAT)pilot reform in the Northeast region,which changed the VAT from production type to consumption type,introduced a sizable tax credit for fixed investment in manufacturing industries,leading to more investment and higher productivity at firm *** paper,however,uses difference-in-difference estimation and finds a negative structural effect;that is,the VAT pilot reform leads to a reduction in the export sophistication of Northeast cities relative to other cities in China,and the results hold for a battery of robustness *** is found that resources are reallocated towards less-sophisticated *** the products with higher export sophistication are more skill and research and development(R&D)intensive,the shortfalls of skilled labor and R&D spending hinder the upgrading *** a new round of revitalization plans in the Northeast,policymakers should be cautious with similar structural effects and focus on increasing skilled labor supply and R&D investment.
