Food quality safety management is one of the hottest issues around the world in recent years. Global food industry, customers and governments in many countries are putting increasing emphasis on food quality safety management. Food traceability system has become an effective way in food quality safety management. The food traceability system has achieved origin, processing, detecting, quality and safety management and other functions. The system will not only meet the day-to-day management and internal tracing needs for enterprises, but also provide services for consumers and supervisors by means of SMS, telephone, network and mobile portable-terminal. The traceability code, which is also known as quality safety code, is the unique identification of cereal and oil products. In the traceability system, all of the quality and safety information of the products can be obtained through this code from the database of quality safety elements. In order to carry out quality safety tracing for the cereal and oil products through the traceability code along with the traceability system, this article design the encode principles for the cereal and oil products based on the in-depth study of the *** system and the characteristics of cereal and oil products’ production and processing,. The traceability code consists of five parts, including enterprise identification number, commodity identification number, batch number and two kinds of verifying number. Compared to the animal products, fruits products, vegetables products and other agricultural products, cereal and oil products have long production chain and involved many factors, which can’t identification individual as animal products, can’t identification producer of raw materials as fruits and vegetables products.
