qingchengzi ore concentration area in Liao-Ji rift is an important lead-zinc ore area of China,and the deep prospecting in this area has great *** on the spatial occurrence of ore bodies the Pb-Zn deposit can be divided into three types:layered,vein-shaped and *** deep geological conditions in this area are deduced by analyzing the tectonic evolution process and rock mass gravity *** tectonic evolution of Liao-Ji rift can be divided into three stages:Paleoproterozoic extension period,Mesoproterozoic compression period and Mesozoic reactivation *** magmatic activities in the Indosinian epoch led to the distribution pattern of the present *** to the gravity inversion,Shuangdinggou-and Xinling rock masses on the north and south sides of the mining area are connected in the *** connected rock body might be distributed in the entire mining *** rock mass may be a branch extending from Shuangdinggou rock mass along the northeast trending fault,the connected rocks provide magmatic hydrothermal fluid for the final,folds and faults result in different types of ore body shapes.

Ore-forming age and tectonic setting of the Linjiasandaogou gold deposit in the Liaodong Peninsula,northeast China:constraints from geochronology and geochemistry

The Linjiasandaogou gold deposit is located in the qingchengzi Orefield,North China Craton,China,and has not attracted many *** present geochronological,whole-rock geochemical,and Sr–Nd–Hf isotopic data to constrain the age and tectonic setting of the mineralization.U–Pb dating of zircon from pre-and post-ore dikes indicates the Linjiasandaogou Au deposit formed at ca.227–226 *** granite porphyry(ca.227 Ma)and quartz diorite porphyry(ca.228 Ma),which are slightly older than the mineralization,have(;Sr/;Sr)i-=0.7127–0.7162,εNd(t)=–13.7 to–17.0,andεHf(t)=–14.6 to–16.9,and display enrichment in light rare earth elements and large ion lithophile elements and depletion in high field strength *** lamprophyres(226 and225 Ma),which are slightly younger than the mineralization,have higher(;Sr/;Sr)i(0.7165–0.7216),negativeεNd(t)(–11.2 to–14.3)andεHf(t)(–15.6 to–18.6)values,and are enriched in light rare earth elements but depleted in high field strength elements(Nb and Ta).The geochemical characteristics of the granitoid and lamprophyres indicate a lower crustal and enriched mantle source,*** infer that the Linjiasandaogou Au deposit formed in a postcollisional tectonic setting,following the collision between the North China,Yangtze craton,and Central Asian Orogeny in Triassic.

Numerical Modeling of Deformation at the Baiyun Gold Deposit,Northeastern China:Insights into the Structural Controls on Mineralization

The qingchengzi ore field is an important gold-polymetallic center of the North China *** has been recognized that the gold deposits in qingchengzi were controlled by structures like litho-logical interfaces and fractures along mechanically weak bedding and foliation planes,but it still remains poorly understood how the structures affected the localization of the gold *** element based numerical modeling was used to reproduce the deformation process of the Baiyun gold deposit during the mineralization *** schist and marble are widely exposed in qingchengzi,and a large part of the Baiyun gold ores occurs along the interfaces between the schist and the *** modeling results suggest that the mechanical contrast between the schist and the marble may be a major reason why the stress was localized along their lithological interfaces under a compressional stress *** parts of their lithological interfaces were identified to be easily stress-localized and first fractured:the interface between the schist and its underlying marble at shallower levels and the one between the schist and its overlying marble at deeper *** concentration in these two parts is independent on the dipping angle and direction of the ***,mineralizing fluids may have been concentrated into these two *** first one is consistent with the present ore bodies of the Baiyun gold deposit,and the second one could be considered for deep *** findings also provide implications for the structural controls of lithological interfaces on the mineralization in other gold deposits of this region.
