Mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)have attracted intense interest in the field of dental tissue *** tissue is a popular source of MSCs because MSCs can be obtained with minimally invasive *** possess distinct inherent properties of self-renewal,immunomodulation,proangiogenic potential,and multilineage potency,as well as being readily available and easy to ***,major issues,including poor engraftment and low survival rates in vivo,remain to be resolved before large-scale application is feasible in clinical ***,some recent investigations have sought ways to optimize MSC functions in vitro and in ***,priming culture conditions,pretreatment with mechanical and physical stimuli,preconditioning with cytokines and growth factors,and genetic modification of MSCs are considered to be the main strategies;all of which could contribute to improving MSC efficacy in dental regenerative *** in this field has made tremendous progress and continues to gather interest and stimulate *** this review,we summarize the priming approaches for enhancing the intrinsic biological properties of MSCs such as migration,antiapoptotic effect,proangiogenic potential,and regenerative *** in current approaches associated with MSC modification and possible future solutions are also *** aim to outline the present understanding of priming approaches to improve the therapeutic effects of MSCs on dental tissue regeneration.

Riboflavin-induced priming for Pathogen Defense in Arabidopsis thaliana

Riboflavin （vitamin B2） participates in a variety of redox processes that affect plant defense responses. Previously we have shown that riboflavin induces pathogen resistance in the absence of hypersensitive cell death （HCD） in plants. Herein, we report that riboflavin induces priming of defense responses in Arabidopsis thaliana toward infection by virulent Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato DC3000 （Pst）. Induced resistance was mechanistically connected with the expression of defense response genes and cellular defense events, including H202 burst, HCD, and callose deposition in the plant. Riboflavin treatment and inoculation of plants with Pst were neither active but both synergized to induce defense responses. The priming process needed NPRI （essential regulator of systemic acquired resistance） and maintenance of H202 burst but was independent of salicylic acid, jasmonic acid, ethylene, and abscisic acid. Our results suggest that the role of riboflavin in priming defenses is subject to a signaling process distinct from the known pathways of hormone signal transduction.

The Arabidopsis thaliana Calmodulin-binding Transcription Activator(CAMTA)transcription factors CAMTA1,CAMTA2,and CAMTA3(CAMTA123)serve as master regulators of salicylic acid(SA)-mediated immunity,repressing the biosynthesis of SA in healthy ***,we show that CAMTA123 also repress the biosynthesis of pipecolic acid(Pip)in healthy *** of CAMTA123 function resulted in the induction of AGD2-like defense response protein 1(ALD1),which encodes an enzyme involved in Pip *** of ALD1 resulted in the accumulation of high levels of Pip,which brought about increased levels of the SA receptor protein NPR1 without induction of NPR1 expression or requirement for an increase in SA ***-mediated induction of ALD1 and genes regulating the biosynthesis of SA—CBP60g,SARD1,PAD4,and EDS1—was largely dependent on ***,Pip-mediated increase in NPR1 protein levels was associated with priming of Pip and SA biosynthesis genes to induction by low levels of *** together,our findings expand the role for CAMTA123 in regulating key immunity genes and suggest a working model whereby loss of CAMTA123 repression leads to the induction of plant defense genes and initiation of SAR.

Objective The potential of all central nervous system synapses to exhibit long term potentiation （LTP） or long term depression （LTD） is subject to modulation by prior synaptic activity, a higher-order form of plasticity that has been termed metaplasticity. This study is designed to examine the plasticity and metaplasticity in the lateral perforant path of rat. Methods Field potential was measured with different priming and conditioning stimulation protocols. Results Ten-hertz priming, which does not affect basal synaptic transmission, caused a dramatic reduction in subsequent LTP at lateral perforant path synapses in vitro, and the reduced LTP lasted for at least 2 h. The LTD was unaffected. The reduction of LTP in the lateral perforant path was also readily induced by applying priming antidromically at the mossy fibers. Conclusion priming with 10 Hz, which is within a frequency range observed during physiological activity, can cause potent, long-lasting inhibition of LTP, but not LTD. This form of metaplasticity adds a layer of complexity to the activity-dependent modification of synapses within the dentate gyrus.

Seed priming is a pre-germinated technique that can enhance seed germination percentage,faster and synchro-nized germination,better seedling growth,and yield under stress *** ascertain the most effective seed priming method that would ensure the potential yield of wheat in Bangladesh,two experiments were carried out from December 2021 to March 2022 at the Department of Agronomy,Bangladesh Agricultural *** wheat varieties namely BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 were subjected to a range of priming chemicals in both lab and pot *** compounds included the following:control(no priming),hydropriming(distilled water),10000 ppm KNO_(3),15000 ppm KNO_(3),40000 ppm Mannitol,60000 ppm Mannitol,10000 ppm NaCl,20000 ppm NaCl,100 ppm PEG,150 ppm PEG,500 ppm NaOCl,1000 ppm NaOCl,10000 ppm CaCl_(2),20000 ppm CaCl_(2),10000 ppm KCl and 20000 ppm KCl.A complete randomized design(CRD)with three repli-cations was used to set up the *** results showed that BARI Gom-28 and BWMRI Gom-1 responded best to KCl priming in terms of rapid seed germination and strong seedling *** the other hand,the best priming agents for plant growth and productivity turned out to be CaCl_(2) and *** results of this study support the possibility of using seed priming as a technique to improve wheat plant development and output by raising seed emergence and survival rates.
