Carrier-based aircraft carrier landing is a special kind of tracking control problem and not suitable for classical control methods,which may miss the desired performance or result in ***,we present an optimal preview control for automatic carrier landing system(ACLS)by using state information of system,as well as future reference information,which can avoid the shortcomings of classical control *** the flight performance of carrier-based aircraft is disturbed by air wake when the aircraft flies near the area of carrier stern,we design a disturbance rejection strategy to ensure that aircraft track the glide path with high precision and ***,carrier-based aircraft is a complex nonlinear ***,the nonlinear model of carrier-based aircraft can be linearized at equilibrium landing state and decoupled into the longitudinal model and the lateral ***,an optimal preview control system is *** simulation results of a carrier-based aircraft show that the optimal preview control system can effectively suppress air *** accuracy of optimal preview controller is higher than that of the proportional integral differential(PID)control system.

This paper focuses on the application of H_∞preview control in automatic carrier landing system(ACLS)for carrier-based *** to the mutual movement between aircraft and carrier,the landing process becomes considerably more challenging compared to a conventional runway *** systems mitigate this by predicting deck motion and generating ideal glide slope path for ***,this predicted glide slope information is available in advance,conventional control structures are still unable to use this future information.H_∞preview control has the ability to utilize this future information for improving tracking response and disturbance *** process of incorporating preview information into ACLS framework and synthesizing the H_∞preview controller is *** methodology is verified using the example of F/A-18 automatic carrier landing problem and results are presented.

A valid preview control technique is presented for processing servo systemswith input delay based on extended error systems with input delay. The technique usesthe concept of error systems, establishes extended error systems with input delay and de-rives preview control laws based on minimization of evaluation function. Finally, simula-tion is done on linear direct current motor without brush. The results reveal that the tech-nique proposed herein is valid for improving performance of servo systems.

Rapid positioning and swing angle suppression are very important to the working efficiency and safety of the cranes,a novel anti-swing control strategy is proposed based on the preview ***,a control-oriented mathematical model is established for the controller ***,an error system is constructed to transform the tracking problem into a regulation *** order to integrate the future known information of the system,an extended error system is constructed and the preview controller is designed using linear quadratic regulator（LQR） *** obtained control law includes the feedforward compensation term of the future information,which improves the dynamic performance of the ***,the computer simulation results show that the preview control system has obvious advantages over LQR control in overshoot,swing angle and control quantity,and the system also has certain robustness.

The problem of optimal preview controller design for descriptor discrete-time systems with multirate setting is discussed in this paper. According to discrete-time lifting technique, the multirate preview control problem is transformed into the single-rate one for a certain augmented system. Then, an error system is constructed by using difference operator. Through employing some identities and including the difference of the known future information of desired tracking into the state vector of the error system, the problem is changed into optimal control problem of common descriptor system. Based on the result, a design method for an optimal preview controller is presented by the optimal control method of descriptor discrete-time systems. Moreover, the R-stabilizability and R-detectability of the error system have also been discussed.

This paper studies the automatic carrier landing control problem of carrier-based aircraft, by applying a preview control method. A new automatic carrier landing system（ACLS） for carrier-based aircraft is developed using the advanced knowledge of glide path and longitudinal deck motion. The deck motion preview information is generated by the deck motion predictor which is designed based on the particle filter algorithm. Moreover, the air wake under medium sea condition is considered as the exogenous disturbance to verify the robustness of the proposed ACLS scheme. Simulation results demonstrate that the preview control ACLS can realize a better glide path tracking performance, more effective deck motion compensation, and stronger robustness under air wake disturbance, when comparing with the PID control scheme.

A dual-rate preview control strategy for a type of discrete-time system is proposed based on the theory of multirate control. First, by using the discrete lifting technique, the general dual-rate discrete-time system is converted into a single-rate augmented system. On this basis, the augmented error system is constructed by introducing a first-order difference operator and the previewable reference signal. Then the tracking problem is transformed into a regulator problem of the augmented error system. The optimal preview control law of the augmented error system is obtained by using standard linear quadratic optimal preview control theory, and then the optimal preview controller of the original system is derived. In addition, the necessary and sufficient conditions for the controller are ***, simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A design method of optimal preview controller for multirate systems based on Q-learning algorithm and adaptive dynamic programming theory is proposed in this paper. Combining with the core knowledge of preview control theory and adaptive dynamic programming, a model-free optimal preview controller acquire algorithm of multirate systems was designed by using discrete lifting technology and the construction method of augmented error system. The data required by this algorithm can be measured online and the a priori knowledge of system matrices is not needed.
