Currently,many countries and regions worldwide face the challenge of declining population growth due to persistently low rates of female *** 2017,China's birth rate has hit historic lows and continued to decline,with the death rate now equaling the birth *** have emerged regarding the potential impact of environmental contaminants on reproductive health,including pregnancy ***-disrupting chemicals(EDCs)like phthalate esters(PAEs),bisphenol A(BPA),triclosan(TCS),and perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs)have raised attention due to their adverse effects on biological *** China's 14th Five-Year Plan(2021–2025)for national economic and social development included the treatment of emerging pollutants,including EDCs,there are currently no national appraisal standards or regulatory frameworks for EDCs and their *** the risk of EDC mixtures is an urgent matter that needs consideration from China's perspective in the near *** this Perspective,we delve into the link between EDC mixture exposure and pregnancy loss in *** focus areas include establishing a comprehensive national plan targeting reproductive-aged women across diverse urban and rural areas,understanding common EDC combinations in women and their surrounding environment,exploring the relationship between EDCs and pregnancy loss via epidemiology,and reconsidering the safety of EDCs,particularly in mixtures and low-dose *** envision that this study could aid in creating preventive strategies and interventions to alleviate potential risks induced by EDC exposure during pregnancy in China.

A comparison of implantation, miscarriage and pregnancy rates of single and double day 3 embryo transfer between fresh and frozen thawed transfer cycles： a retrospective study

Background Reduced endometrial receptivity in hyperstimulated cycles may lead to a lower implantation rate and a lower clinical pregnancy rate,but it is unclear if it is also associated with an increase in pregnancy loss *** aim of this study was to compare the implantation,miscarriage,and pregnancy rates between fresh and frozen thawed transfer of one or two day-3 embryos,with a view to understanding whether or not reduced endometrial receptivity encountered in hyperstimulated cycles is associated with an increase in miscarriage *** This study involved a consecutive series of 1 551 single day-3 embryo transfer cycles and consecutive 5 919 double day-3 embryo transfer cycles in the Assisted Reproductive Unit of the Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital,Hangzhou,China,between January 2010 and December *** The implantation and clinical pregnancy rates （single embryo 30.7％ and double embryos 33.4％ and 51.4％）using fresh cycle were both significantly lower than that of frozen-thawed cycles （single embryo 35.8％ and double embryos 38.1％ and 57.8％）.There was no difference in biochemical loss or clinical miscarriage rates between the two *** Impairment of endometrial receptivity associated with ovarian hyperstimulation leads to implantation failure at a very early stage,resulting in an increased number of *** does not lead to increase in biochemical or clinical *** significantly reduced ongoing pregnancy rates in both fresh single and double embryo transfer are therefore due to failure to achieve a pregnancy,rather than pregnancy loss after conception.

Objective: It has been shown that bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) can induce M2 macrophage, which mediates MSCs protection in experimental inflammation-related organ injury. Lipopolysaccharide(LPS) acts via TLR4 to promote pro-inflammatory response and spontaneous abortions. Little is known, however, about the effect ofMSCs in LPS-induced immune cell activation during pregnancy and pregnant outcomes. Our work was designed to investigate the protective effects of MSCs therapy in LPS-induced ***: In the present study, LPS was administrated to the pregnant C57BL/6 females on day 7 of gestation. The MSCs subsequently were adoptive transferred in the LPS-induced abortion-prone C57BL/6 mice on days 8, 10. We evaluated fetus injury followed by detecting T cells and macrophage phenotype in peripheral blood and uterus of pregnant mice by flow cytometry. In vitro, we compared the decidual macrophage phenotype of normal pregnancy and spontaneous abortions by flow cytometry. Phenotype of spontaneous abortion decidual macrophage cocultured with MSCs was also detected by flow ***: We demonstrated that adoptive transfer of MSCs can alleviate LPS-induced fetal loss, which is accompanied by increased decidual M2 macrophage, and T helper(Th2) bias in peripheral blood and uterus. In addition, the phenotype of decidual macrophage from miscarriage was inclined to M1 compared with decidual macrophage from normal pregnancy as M2 in human and mouse models as well. Macrophages from unexplained human miscarriage cocultured with MSCs acquired an anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype, which was characterized by an increased expression of CD206 and the secretory cytokine interleukin(IL)-***: Our data suggested that allogenic bone marrow-derived MSCs induce a population of M2 macrophage in uterus of LPS-induced abortion mice, which further promote Th2 bias and maternal-fetal immune tolerance.
