Knowledge graphs(KGs)have been widely accepted as powerful tools for modeling the complex relationships between concepts and developing knowledge-based services.In recent years,researchers in the field of power systems have explored KGs to develop intelligent dispatching systems for increasingly large power grids.With multiple power grid dispatching knowledge graphs(PDKGs)constructed by different agencies,the knowledge fusion of different PDKGs is useful for providing more accurate decision supports.To achieve this,entity alignment that aims at connecting different KGs by identifying equivalent entities is a critical step.Existing entity alignment methods cannot integrate useful structural,attribute,and relational information while calculating entities’similarities and are prone to making many-to-one alignments,thus can hardly achieve the best performance.To address these issues,this paper proposes a collective entity alignment model that integrates three kinds of available information and makes collective counterpart assignments.This model proposes a novel knowledge graph attention network(KGAT)to learn the embeddings of entities and relations explicitly and calculates entities’similarities by adaptively incorporating the structural,attribute,and relational similarities.Then,we formulate the counterpart assignment task as an integer programming(IP)problem to obtain one-to-one alignments.We not only conduct experiments on a pair of PDKGs but also evaluate o ur model on three commonly used cross-lingual KGs.Experimental comparisons indicate that our model outperforms other methods and provides an effective tool for the knowledge fusion of PDKGs.

power dispatch is a core problem for smart grid operations.It aims to provide optimal operating points within a transmission network while power demands are changing over space and time.This function needs to be run every few minutes throughout the day;thus,a fast,accurate solution is of vital importance.However,due to the complexity of the problem,reliable and computationally efficient solutions are still under development.This issue will become more urgent and complicated as the integration of intermittent renewable energies increases and the severity of uncertain disasters gets worse.With the recent success of artificial intelligence in various industries,deep learning becomes a promising direction for power engineering as well,and the research community begins to rethink the problem of power dispatch.This paper reviews the recent progress in smart grid dispatch from a deep learning perspective.Through this paper,we hope to advance not only the development of smart grids but also the ecosystem of artificial intelligence.

This paper investigates a consensus algorithm-based power dispatch problem when the power outage happens in the intelligent household. Energy storage devices are added in power grids to support the electricity supply while taking power outages into consideration. According to the need of using electrical appliances caused by the different power outage periods lengths, the establishment of smart home load model and the load shedding judgment are proposed. When the different energy storage devices are used to provide electricity, a consensus algorithm is proposed for the power dispatch. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of proposed algorithm.

Distributed Resource Allocation via Accelerated Saddle Point Dynamics

In this paper,accelerated saddle point dynamics is proposed for distributed resource allocation over a multi-agent network,which enables a hyper-exponential convergence rate.Specifically,an inertial fast-slow dynamical system with vanishing damping is introduced,based on which the distributed saddle point algorithm is designed.The dual variables are updated in two time scales,i.e.,the fast manifold and the slow manifold.In the fast manifold,the consensus of the Lagrangian multipliers and the tracking of the constraints are pursued by the consensus protocol.In the slow manifold,the updating of the Lagrangian multipliers is accelerated by inertial terms.Hyper-exponential stability is defined to characterize a faster convergence of our proposed algorithm in comparison with conventional primal-dual algorithms for distributed resource allocation.The simulation of the application in the energy dispatch problem verifies the result,which demonstrates the fast convergence of the proposed saddle point dynamics.

Grid structures are rapidly evolving in view of contemporary energy policies which ensure the addition of more renewable sources to reduce the carbon footprint.Compared to a centralized approach,low voltage grids(decentralized and distributed)are promising approaches to integrating nondispatchable renewable energy sources(RESs).Installing local micro level power generation sources such as fuel cells,microturbines,and energy storage systems are a recent trend which helps in the intermittent effects of RESs and makes microgrids less dependable on the main grid.Due to the increasing variety of distributed generation sources having diverse characteristics,power dispatch scheduling of distributed microgrids is becoming challenging.A dispatch scheduling solution from an operator’s point of view is presented by the authors.The core objective of this study is to minimize the carbon emissions and the cost of each microgrid.Further,it is observed that sales and purchases from the main grid are reduced.Consequently,transmission losses are also decreased.
