Modulating the alloying mode in the doping-induced synthesis of Au-Pd nanowires

Due to the disruption by other non-analyte factor,single-emission probe has been limited in the complex systems detection ***,MOFs-based luminescence sensors have became more and more popular because of the excellent structural abundance and *** this work,Eu@Mn-MOFs,with stable structure and miraculous fluoresce properties,was synthesized by a simple post-synthetic modification ***,not only can the Eu@Mn-MOFs emits a broad emission at 490 nm attributed to the ligand-based fluorescence emission,but also exhibits the characteristic emission to the Eu ion responding to antenna ***,the dual-emitting Eu@Mn-MOFs displays an interesting luminescence switching between acidic and basic solutions by the distinct color *** by this phenomenon,histidine,a kind of basic amino acid,causing a unique fluorescence signal by the Eu@***,Eu@Mn-MOFs can be as a practical chemsensor for sensing histidine with low detection limit,high sensitivity and wide detection *** sum up,Eu@Mn-MOFs has outstanding applications in the fields of chemical detection and human health.

Heterogeneous doping is one effective strategy for synthesizing metal alloy ***,the heterogeneous doping processes of Pd on the ultrathin Au nanowires were systematically modulated and ***-Pd alloy nanowires with various morphologies and lattice structures can be obtained by adjusting the morphology of the precursor Au nanowires and the kinetics of the heterogeneous doping *** effects of the rate of Pd reduction and the concentration of the ligand oleylamine(OAm)on the Pd deposition and alloying mode were ***,as the Pd deposition rate decreases,the Pd deposition and alloying mode switches from the island-forming Stransky–Krastanov(SK)mode to the epitaxial Frank-van der Merwe(FM)mode,and eventually to an unconventional twisting alloying mode,where the interdiffusion of Pd and Au causes drastic rearrangement of the lattice structure and formation of helical *** kinetics-related variation of alloying mode could also be observed in the Au-Ag nanowires,demonstrating a general design principle for the synthesis of alloy *** addition,the electrocatalytic performance of various Au-Pd nanowires was evaluated,and the alloy nanowire formed via the SK mode was found to be an excellent electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and ethanol oxidation.

By anchoring Tb^(3+)ions on its free carboxyl groups of the nanocaged NiMOF,a dual-emission self-calibrating sensor of Tb^(3+)@NiMOF was fabricated through coordination post-synthetic modification(PSM)*** Tb^(3+)ions as the secondary fluorescent signal and sensing active sites,Tb^(3+)@NiMOF presents great potentials in visually and efficiently monitoring EPI in serum,with high sensitivity and selectivity,fast response,excellent recyclable,and the low detection limit(LOD,3.06 ng/mL).Furthermore,a tandem combinational logic gate based intelligent detection system was constructed to improve the practicability and convenience of epinephrine(EPI)detection in serum by comparing the light emitted colour with the series standard colour cards preset in the *** work provides a promising approach of developing metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)based self-calibrating sensors for intelligent detection of bioactive molecules.

The development of preparation methods for XOFs,as a new class of organic frameworks,plays a crucial role in shaping their structures,functions,and potential *** this study,we presented the construction of chiral supramolecular 2D halogen-bonded organic frameworks(XOFs)through a post-synthetic modification strategy.A linear halogen-bonded organic polymer(XOP),XOP-DPBA,decorated with aldehyde groups,was initially prepared to validate the feasibility of post-synthetic modification for XOF construction and ***-DPBA exhibited excellent reactivity with amines,forming imine *** utilizing this reactivity,a series of cross-linked 2D XOFs were efficiently prepared through post-synthetic modified cross-linking ***,we successfully introduced chiralα/β-cyclodextrins(α/β-CD)into the XOF skeletons via host-guest interactions,resulting in the fabrication of chiral supramolecular 2D *** chiral XOFs displayed the induced circular dichroism(ICD)signals and assembled them into helical *** post-synthetic modification strategy demonstrated its versatility and simplicity for the construction and functionalization of XOFs.

A dual-switching spin crossover metal-organic framework(SCO-MOF)[Fe(TPB){Pt^(Ⅱ)(CN)_(4)}]·3iPrOH·4H_(2)O(TPB=1,2,4,5-tetra(pyridin-4-yl)benzene)is developed via the combination of redox-active framework and tunable *** reversible structural transformation between[Pt^(Ⅱ)(CN)_(4)]^(2-) and[Pt^(Ⅳ)Br_(2)(CN)_(4)]^(2-)moieties can be manipulated by redox post-synthetic modification(PSM),which results in the change of SCO behaviors from step-wise to *** influences of the oxidative addition of bromides on the ligand field splitting of Fe side are further explored by density functional theory ***,the modulation of hysteretic four-/three-step,one-step and four-step SCO behaviors can be achieved by tuning the composition of guest ***,the combination of electronic bistability,redox reaction and guest recognition in a homogeneous lattice provides a utility platform for designing multi-responsive molecule-based materials.

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) have recently emerged as a new class of ***,integrated design is crucial to maximizing the performance of COF-incorporating photocatalytic ***,we compare two strategies of installing earth-abundant metal-based catalytic centers into the matrice of a 2 D COF named *** to NUS-55(Co)prepared from the post-synthetic metalation of coordination sites within the COF,the molecular co-catalyst impregnated NUS-55/[Co(bpy)3]Cl2 achieves a seven-fold improvement in visible light-driven H2 evolution rate to 2,480 μmol g^-1h^-1,with an apparent quantum efficiency(AQE) of 1.55% at 450 *** results show that the rational design of molecular anchoring sites in COFs for the introduction of catalytic metal sites can be a viable strategy for the development of highly efficient photocatalysts with enhanced stability and photocatalytic activities.

The designed synthesis of chiral covalent organic frameworks(COFs) featuring intriguing properties is fairly scant and remains a daunting synthetic *** we develop a de novo synthesis of an enantiomeric pair of 2 D hydroxyl-functionalized hydrazone-linked chiral COFs,(S)-and(R)-HthBta-OH COFs,using enantiopure 2,5-bis(2-hydroxypropoxy)terephthalohydrazide(Hth) as *** fo rmation process of hydroxyl-functionalized chiral COFs was monitored using rigorous time-dependent PXRD,vibrational circular dichroism(VCD),and electronic circular dichroism(ECD) ***,VCD spectra indicated a unique chiral signal inversion from the positive Cotton effect of(S)-Hth monomer to the negative Cotton effect of(S)-HthBta-OH COF,which has never been reported in chiral ***,two unprecedented carboxyl-functionalized chiral COFs,(S)-and(R)-HthBta-COOH,were constructed by a post-synthetic modification of the corresponding hydroxyl chiral COFs with succinic ***,carboxyl-functionalized COFs retained homochirality and crystallinity without linker racemization and structural collapse after the chemical modification due to the chemically robust nature of pristine hydrazone-linked chiral COFs.
