Two new recognition methods for the spatial planar POlygon using perspective invariants are presented. The corss-ratio (R c) of a vetex and the co-base area rotio (RA) of a edge in a spatial planar polygon are proposed and used as the invariant primitive of the recognition eigenvector. The second distance error decision rule (SD EDR) estimating the relative error of RA is introduced also too. The mthods could recognize a spatial planar polygon with an arbitrary orientation through only a single perspective view. Experimental examples are gievn.

In this paper, the Steiner area formula and the polar moment of inertia were expressed during one-parameter closed planar homothetic inverse motions in complex plane. The Steiner point was defined when the rotation number was different zero and it was called the Steiner normal when the rotation number was equal to zero. The fixed pole point was given with its components and its relation between Steiner point or Steiner normal was explained. The sagittal motion of a telescopic crane was considered as an example. This motion was described by a double hinge consisting of the fixed control panel of the telescopic crane and the moving arm of the telescopic crane. The theoretical concepts and results were applied for this motion.

The nanoparticle transportation and Brownian diffusion in planar jet flow is simulated via large eddy simulation in this work. To thorough compare the Brownian diffusion with different particle size, we computed three particle diameter dp = 1 nm, 10 nm and 50 nm in one simulation process simultaneously. The numerical results showed that at the flow de- veloping stage, the particle mass concentration pattern develops as the flow vorticity develops. The distribution is nearly uniform at the lower reaches of the nozzle exit. When the jet flow is developing on, vortexes always carry the particle from upstream to downstream, from the central axis region to the outer mixing layer of jet. At the front of the jet flow, particles distribute more homogeneous for they have more residence time to diffuse from higher concentration region to the lower concentration region. The time averaged particle concentration distribution patterns are similar to Gaussian distribution form. The maximum concentration contributed by diffusion is present at the mixing layer near the nozzle exit. The farther away from the nozzle exit in the cross-stream direction, the smaller the concentration is. The maximum concentration contributed by diffusion is several orders smaller than that contributed by flow convection.

The mobile communication (radio, mobile, satellite telephony…) insert band filters which are required to comply with stringent pass-band characteristics concerning the selectivity, the group delay, the insertion losses and the mass and volume. The mass and volume of payload electronic equipment is a significant contributor to the overall cost of space systems. Within this framework, many improvements were made in the design of filters and multiplexers which represent a considerable portion of the overall satellite payload. The High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) planar technology permits to realize compact size filtering devices. Moreover, it could also provide a superior performance not attainable by any other technology. However, not controllable parameters in the manufacturing processes (indistinctness of the engraving, the not uniformity of substratum thickness) do not allow to obtain a precision on the echo’s frequency and to keep a high quality factor. So, it is necessary to use method to tune the center frequency of filters after the fabrication or to study new resonator topologies which present lower sensitivity to LAIO3 substrate thickness. This last point is the object of this article.

Metamaterials have got a unique identification in the field of electromagnetic. Left handed metamaterials have been recognized through its working at high frequencies with larger bandwidth in antenna design. The author has proposed a multi substrates LH metamaterials with an array of split triangular antennas for wideband as well as for larger bandwidth. FR4 is being used at frequency 42 - 26 GHz with thickness of 3 mm for substrate and matching circuit is inserted to get high gain with minimum reflections. The number of rods in PBG is 100, which is found to get high return losses and ideal behavior of VSWR. Obtained results have been in good agreement such as S11 is approximately ﹣30 dB, VSWR 1.8 dB and the bandwidth enhancement is 2 GHz at frequency 5 GHz. All results are plotted using commercial software CST microwave studio (Version 2012) and MATLAB.

We present first results from a hybrid coplanar waveguide microfluidic tank circuit for monitoring lipid bilayer formation and fluctuations of integrated proteins. The coplanar waveguide is a radio frequency resonator operating at ~250 MHz. Changes within the integrated microfluidic chamber, such as vesicle bursting and subsequent nanopore formation alter the reflected signal, and can be detected with nanosecond resolution. We show experimental evidence of such alterations when the microfluidic channel is filled with giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs). Subsequent settling and bursting of the GUVs form planar lipid bilayers, yielding a detectable change in the resonant frequency of the device. Results from finite element simulations of our device correlate well with our experimental evidence. These simulations also indicate that nanopore formation within the bilayer is easily detectable. The simulated structure allows for incorporation of microfluidics as well as simultaneous RF and DC recordings. The technique holds promise for high throughput drug screening applications and could also be used as an in-plane probe for various other applications. It opens up possibilities of exploring ion channels and other nano scale pores in a whole new frequency band allowing for operating at bandwidths well above the traditional DC methods.

Then the relation between the kinetic energy formula and the Steiner formula was given. As an example the sagittal motion of a telescopic crane was considered. This motion was described by a double hinge consisting of the fixed control panel of telescopic crane and the moving arm of telescopic crane. The results were applied to experimentally measured motion.

As such, developing efficient methods to rapidly functionalize planar chiral scaffolds has received substantial attention, and several elegant synthetic strategies have been developed to this end.
