The adsorption characteristics of the powdered activated carbon on four kinds of pesticides （ dichlorvos, chlorothalonil, lindane and chlorphyrifos） were studied, and the influential factors of adsorption effect were discussed. Results showed that the powdered activated carbon could effectively remove the above four kinds of pesticides. It was rapid adsorption period before 30 min, and removal rate has reached 90%. Adsorption kinetics of the powdered activated carbon on pesticides corresponded with quasi-two-level kinetic equation, and both Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherms could simulate the adsorption process of the activated carbon on pesticide well. Competitive adsorption between small-molecule organics in the water diverting from Yellow River and Desticides on microDore of the activated carbon would occur.

This paper briefly introduced the issues of food safety and environmental pollution caused by pesticide residues in protected vegetables, discussed the status and problems of pesticide use in the protected vegetables in Shandong Province, and analyzed the main factors leading to the pesticide residues, including the low education of most farmers, lack of correct identification of diseases and insect pests, use of pesticides based on personal experience, pesticide preparation by bare hands, large dose of pesticide, frequent application, pesticide spraying without protection, uneven spraying, leakage of pesticide from the sprayers, etc.. Finally, based on the vegetable planting features and advantages in Shandong Province, some suggestions were proposed for references, such as, to enhance the monitoring of pesticide residue, to improve the educational level of farmers and to scentifically use the pesticide.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to establish a qualitative method for rapid detection of pesticide residues in feed.[Methods]A rapid screening method for 82 pesticide residues in feed was established using ultra liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole-time of flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS)combined with optimized pretreatment methods.[Results]Feed samples were extracted with 0.2%formic acid-acetonitrile solution,shaken,centrifuged,and re-centrifuged,and the supernatant was filtered with a 0.22μm filter membrane for *** samples were separated on a Waters ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 chromatographic column(2.1 mm×50 mm,1.8μm),and subjected to gradient elution with methanol-water solution as the mobile phase,and scanning was performed in ESI+mode.82 compounds could be accurately qualitatively detected in 13 min.[Conclusions]This method is simple to operate,time-saving,and can be applied to rapid screening of large-scale *** study provides a theoretical basis for the development of new methods in the future.

Ninety-six farmers interviewed in Kabare,east of the DR Congo during *** majority were males(79.17%),ranging 30 to 60 years,used different pesticides in vegetable farms and the main solanaceous crops cultivated is *** use of insecticide and fungicide were high,with many different formulations of the different class types recorded in use,(20%)endocrine disruptors,(40%)cholinesterase inhibitors,(35%)carcinogen and potential carcinogens suspected to be.A lot of out of those pesticides are unregistered for general *** applied pesticide once a week and they didn’t have specific *** skin effects,headaches and dizziness are *** do not have a good system of pesticide packaging *** reducing pesticide application,we propose options of agro *** suggest that the Congolese government must create a quarantine,control and surveillance service for phytosanitary products,fruits and vegetables within the DRC country and at these ***,it needs urgent action from the federal and regional governments to formulate policy,design legislation,and enforcing for its implementation concerning the supply,transportation,storage,appropriateness,and application of harmful pesticides.

OBJECTIVE Identification of pesticide residues in TCM herbs is important for drug safety and public ***,it is very challenging for the development of an instrument-based multi-residue pesticide analysis method for theherbalproducts due to their complex *** study aims to develop a rapid method for the high-throughput detection of pesticide residues in TCM herbal products using liquid chromatography coupled to quadrupoletime of flight(LC-QTOF)mass *** In this study,we attempt to investigate possible pesticide residues in TCM herbal products which are commonly available in Singapore and to consolidate a comprehensive pesticide database for more than 250 regulated pesticides in FDA *** also attempt to perform non-targeted and targeted screenings of pesticide residues in herbal products by searching our *** The developed LC-QTOF method demonstrates have high mass accuracy,resolution and selectivity,which makes it a very suitable tool for monitoring both target and non-target pesticides with a limit of detection at the low ppb ***,the LC-QTOF technology permits to retain all spectral data in a single *** may avoid many difficulties related to matrix effects and will save much *** means that a variety of TCM herbs can be easily detected by this method for the presence or absence of pesticide residues that must conform to government regulations.

[Objectives]The paper was to investigate the development of Panonychus citri resistance to commonly used pesticides in major citrus producing areas in China,and to screen out new green and efficient agents for its control and prevention.[Methods]The resistance changes of field populations of *** to abamectin,pyridaben,and bifenazate in 12 locations across five provinces in China were compared using the leaf disc impregnation method.[Results]*** in the tested areas exhibited the most severe resistance to abamectin,with approximately 91.7%of the field populations showing high levels of resistance to abamectin(112.1-560.5 times);50%of *** populations exhibited high levels of resistance to pyridaben(123.0-202.7 times),while the remaining populations showed intermediate levels of resistance(25.6-80.3 times);except for the Zhejiang Xiangshan 2019 and Jiangxi Yudu 2019 populations,which exhibited a medium level of resistance to bifenazate,the remaining 10 monitored populations demonstrated a high level of resistance to bifenazate(140.4-686.1 times).[Conclusions]It is advisable to discontinue the use of abamectin and bifenazate due to significant resistance observed in populations of *** monitored in 12 locations across 5 *** is recommended to reduce the frequency of pyridaben use and alternate with other acaricides that have different mechanisms of action due to the varying degrees of resistance developed.

The application of anti-drift nozzles, such as air-induction nozzles, is the most common recommendation for reducing spray drift; To reduce the risk of coarse droplets bouncing and rolling produced by anti-drift nozzles, various types of adjuvants were screened by comparing their atomization performance, surface tension and contact angle, in order to identify favourable adjuvants that are compatible with anti-drift nozzles. It was found from the study results that the addition of 50% neem crude oil emulsifiable concentrate (neem oil), isomeric alcohol ethoxylates and BYK-405 all significantly decreased distribution span (S) and the percentage of droplet size less than 150 mu m (Phi Vol(<150 mu m)) values, but significantly promoted the median volume (D-50) value. And the surface tension measurement results showed that all tested adjuvants significantly reduced the surface tension, while neem oil, FC4430 and silwetl-77 were observed with a most significant effects; Furthermore, all tested adjuvants except BYK-051N could also significantly decrease the contact angle, and the difference between neem oil, FC4430 and silwetl-77 was significant. Wind tunnel test results clearly demonstrated that the application of IDKA (a combination of air-induction nozzle IDK120-01 and neem oil) substantially decreased the drift deposition amount; In addition, the field experiments revealed that IDKA possessed a significantly improved deposition amount per unit area on canopy or bottom, leading to a more effective deposition. These results suggest that the use of IDK120-01 nozzle and neem oil can effectively reduce spray drift, lessen surface tension and enhance spreading.
