Recent advances and perspectives of zinc metal-free anodes for zinc ion batteries

Zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) are recognized as potential energy storage devices due to their advantages of low cost, high energy density, and environmental friendliness. However, zinc anodes are subject to unavoidable zinc dendrites, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution reactions during the charging and discharging of batteries, becoming obstacles to the practical application of ZIBs. Appropriate zinc metal-free anodes provide a higher working potential than metallic zinc anodes, effectively solving the problems of zinc dendrites, hydrogen evolution, and side reactions during the operation of metallic zinc anodes. The improvement in the safety and cycle life of batteries creates conditions for further commercialization of ZIBs. Therefore, this work systematically introduces the research progress of zinc metal-free anodes in “rocking chair” ZIBs. Zinc metal-free anodes are mainly discussed in four categories: transition metal oxides,transition metal sulfides, MXene(two dimensional transition metal carbide) composites, and organic compounds, with discussions on their properties and zinc storage mechanisms. Finally, the outlook for the development of zinc metal-free anodes is proposed. This paper is expected to provide a reference for the further promotion of commercial rechargeable ZIBs.

This paper reviews the status of satellite navigation(as per 11 May 2020)-without claim for completeness-and discusses the various global navigation satellite systems,regional satellite navigation systems and satellite-based augmentation systems.Problems and challenges for delivering nowadays a safe and reliable navigation are discussed.New opportunities,perspectives and megatrends of satellite navigation are outlined.Some remarks are closing this paper emphasizing the great value of satellite navigation at present and in future.

Around 20%-30% of patients diagnosed with prostate cancer （PCa） still have high-risk PCa disease （HRPC） that requires aggressive treatment. Treatment of HRPC is controversial, and multimodality therapy combining surgery, radiation therapy, and androgen deprivation therapy have been suggested. There has been a trend toward performing radical prostatectomy （RP） in HRPC and currently, robot-assisted laparoscopic RP （RARP） has become the most common approach. Number of publications related to robotic surgery in HRPC is limited in the literature.

In vitro and in vivo correlation for lipid-based formulations: Current status and future perspectives

Lipid-based formulations(LBFs)have demonstrated a great potential in enhancing the oral absorption of poorly water-soluble drugs.However,construction of in vitro and in vivo correlations(IVIVCs)for LBFs is quite challenging,owing to a complex in vivo processing of these formulations.In this paper,we start with a brief introduction on the gastrointestinal digestion of lipid/LBFs and its relation to enhanced oral drug absorption;based on the concept of IVIVCs,the current status of in vitro models to establish IVIVCs for LBFs is reviewed,while future perspectives in this field are discussed.In vitro tests,which facilitate the understanding and prediction of the in vivo performance of solid dosage forms,frequently fail to mimic the in vivo processing of LBFs,leading to inconsistent results.In vitro digestion models,which more closely simulate gastrointestinal physiology,are a more promising option.Despite some successes in IVIVC modeling,the accuracy and consistency of these models are yet to be validated,particularly for human data.A reliable IVIVC model can not only reduce the risk,time,and cost of formulation development but can also contribute to the formulation design and optimization,thus promoting the clinical translation of LBFs.

perspectives是翻译学领域经典国际期刊,对其进行翻译有利于推动中国翻译研究的发展。机器翻译的高速发展极大地提高了翻译的效率、促进了知识的传播,但随之出现的翻译错误频出等问题需要译者对机器翻译结果进行译后编辑。本报告以perspectives期刊论文摘要为例,运用实例分析等方法,以赖斯的文本类型理论为参照,结合体裁分析、翻译自动化用户协会提出的译后编辑要求以及ISO18587:2017标准,探讨更具针对性的译后编辑方法。报告研究结果如下。第一,总结了perspectives译后编辑准确性、一致性、逻辑性的三个标准。第二,在体裁分析IMRC模型下,摘要的机器翻译错误类型分布存在以下特点:词汇错误主要分布在背景介绍和方法论两个语步,被动语态的错误主要分布在背景介绍和结果两个语步。第三,提出perspectives论文摘要的译后编辑方法,具体包括采用仿造法、夹注以及找译法以实现术语编辑的准确性;运用调整语序、转变语态的方法保持内容和风格的一致性;应用省略人称照应和重复关键词的技巧确保语篇的逻辑性。通过对perspectives摘要进行译后编辑,提出的译后编辑方法可为未来翻译领域摘要汉译译后编辑提供借鉴。所得译本能助力中国翻译学了解、借鉴国际发展范式,推动中国翻译学进一步走向世界。

西藏自治区自然、地理与气候环境复杂且特殊,道路交通环境相对恶劣,这导致当地交通警察道路执法工作面临诸多风险,包括警员人身安全和执法效能等风险。对此,文章对西藏交通警察道路执法工作风险进行了调查分析,从地区环境、警员安全意识与技能、执法装备、社会宣传和教育等角度探讨了相关风险的成因,针对性相关风险成因,提出从优化警力配置与道路信息推送、加强警员培训、完善警务装备、加强法治化宣传教育等工作来消除相关风险,以期保障警员安全并改善西藏交通环境。

Past, Present and Future perspectives of Rice Production in Tanzania

Cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L. and Oryza. glaberrima) is one of the most important food crops in the world. World rice production has increased three times since the green revolution. However, climate change and global warming effects as well as ever increasing world population will require the world to produce more rice without increasing area under rice production in order to meet those demands. The best option to overcome these challenges includes adoption of climate-smart technologies and sustainable solutions to rice production. Rice was probably introduced in Tanzania over 1000 years ago by Asian traders during trade contacts between Asia and East Africa Coast through Indian Ocean. Rice cultivation had been restricted to coastal area until 19th century when it started spreading to interior areas of Tanzania. During colonial period (1880s-1960s), the emphasis was to produce cash crops as raw materials for industrialized world. After independence production of rice increased significantly. Currently, rice is the second most important food crop in Tanzania after maize and Tanzania is the leading producer of rice in East African countries. It ranks 4th and 22nd in Africa and World respectively in terms of rice production. In this paper, the rice history, ecosystems, challenges and future perspective for sustaining rice production in Tanzania is reviewed.

Leptospirosis is a bacterial disease disseminated through the centuries in the whole world which causes symptoms that go from self-limited diseases to hemorrhagic manifestations and organ failure, including acute kidney injury(AKI), composing the severe disease known as the Weil's syndrome. Mortality rates varies according to the clinical presentation and usually increases when kidney injury is present, and is even higher in the setting of pulmonary hemorrhage. There are recent advances in the search for novel biomarkers of renal involvement and early detection of AKI in leptospirosis, as well as in its pathophysiology. We review in this article the clinical aspects of leptospirosis-associated AKI and the perspectives for future research.
