Temperature Rise Calculation and Velocity Planning of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor under Trapezoidal Speed

For permanent magnet linear synchronous motor(PMLSM) working at trapezoidal speed for long time, high thrust brings high temperature rise, while low thrust limits dynamic performance. Thus, it is crucial to find a balance between temperature rise and dynamic performance. In this paper, a velocity planning model of the PMLSM at trapezoidal speed based on electromagnetic-fluid-thermal(EFT) field is proposed to obtain the optimal dynamic performance under temperature limitation. In this model, the winding loss is calculated considering the acceleration and deceleration time. The loss model is indirectly verified by the temperature rise experiment of an annular winding sample. The actual working conditions of the PMLSM are simulated by dynamic grid technology to research the influence of acceleration and deceleration on fluid flow in the air gap, and the variation rule of the thermal boundary condition is analyzed. Combined with the above conditions, the temperature rise of a coreless PMLSM(CPMLSM) under the rated working condition is calculated and analyzed in detail. Through this method and several iterations, the optimal dynamic performance under the temperature limitation is achieved. The result is verified by a comparison between simulation and prototype tests, which can help improve the dynamic performance.

＜正＞The vertical transportation system driven by permanent magnet linear synchronous motor（PMLSM） has the characters of simple structure,high speed and rope less lifting.Especially suit to super high buildings and deep mine lift. Based on the mathematical model of PMLSM,the paper designs the fuzzy PID controller and the program for electromagnet parameters and established the model of PMLSM lifting system.The reasonability and validity have been testified by the simulation results.It is important to the designing and debugging for the real control system.

This paper presents direct torque control principle for a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Mathematical model of the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor is further described on the basis of this principle. The thrust control and flux linkage control are studied in this paper. In order to implement direct trust control, voltage vectors are suitably selected in the system according to the error between the true values and their reference of the trust and primary flux linkage. Moreover this paper introduces the realization of some key parts for the control system and analyzes the feasibility of direct thrust control of the linear motor. Some simulations with SIMULINK of MATLAB have been given to demonstrate validity of the control system.

＜正＞A synthesis compensation approach of iterative learning control（ILC） is applied to minimization of periodic force ripples in a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor （PMLSM）.Based on position,speed and time axes,the synthesis approach enables powerfully to compensate periodic force ripples along three axes with feedforward approach in PMLSMs, meanwhile stochastic disturbances are restrained by feedback approach.The ILC scheme with variable step-size is adopted to improve convergent rate along position.Three ILC approaches converge into compensation tables along position,speed and time axes respectively.In three ILC compensation schemes,an additional compensator combined with a conventional proportional-integral（PI） control is employed to generate a compensated reference current signal,which is added to the reference current from PI controller.As a consequence,the force pulsation is reduced significantly.The proposed approach is evaluated by experiments,which validate its effectiveness.

This paper presents a position servo control approach for permanent magnet linear synchronous motors.A backstepping sliding-mode controller is proposed for the system.To overcome the impacts of system uncertainties,an adaptive radial basis function network is exploited to estimate the uncertainty and provide necessary compensation in the control effort.Based on the Lyapunov functional analysis,the adaptive laws for online tuning the parameters of the radial basis function networks are derived so that the precision of the position servo controller can be improved.The effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by the simulation results.

The contour accuracy of direct drive XY table driven by the permanent magnet linear synchronous motor （PMLSM） is influenced for time-varying free-form contour following task, end effect and friction of the XY table. To enhance the contouring performance, contour error algorithm applicable for multi-axis nonlinear motion system was adopted. Position error compensator （PEC） was combined to make the contour error approach to zero. A compound control scheme base on combining repetitive controller （RC） and a pseudo derivative feedback with feed-forward （PDFF） speed controller were employed in this paper. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the designed control system make XY table possess high performance of contour accuracy and reduce the influence of the periodic disturbances of XY table system.

＜正＞The traditional speed/current double closed-loop PID control system can not self-adjust its parameters with external conditions and has low control accuracy.In this paper,the fuzzy algorithm is applied into the PMLSM control system,adopting the latest control chip DSP F2812 of TI-company as processor,which achieves entire digitization of fuzzy control system.Hardware of system（such as inverter,driving circuit,detecting circuit） is designed,and the software is designed with C language programming.The results of experiment demonstrate that the performance is satisfied and the fuzzy control system has high precision and good robustness.
