An optimal performance issues about linear time-invariant（LTI）systems tracking stochastic signal with measurement noise is proposed in this *** integral square error criterion is used as a measure for the system tracking error between the output of a given plant and reference signals,the spectral factorization is applied to obtain optimal solution of the system *** is shown that nonminimum phase zeros and unstable poles have a negative effect on a feedback system’s ability to reduce the system error with measurement noise;simultaneously,the performance limitation becomes worse for an unstable,nonminimum phase plant because of measurement ***,the measurement noise don’t affect performance limitation for an stable nonminimum phase plant.

It is well-known that for a class of minimum-phase relative degree-one linear-time-invariant（LTI） systems, with a unit feedback control structure, overshoot must happen if the plant transfer function has poles at zero or unstable poles. This work aims to overcome this overshoot performance limitation by using a novel reset controller, which has a generalized first order reset element（GFORE） structure. By tuning parameters of this reset controller carefully, the non-overshoot performance can be ensured. Furthermore, the implementation of reset controller with a high-pass filter is provided. This shows that the performance limitation on overshoot can be removed by using the proposed reset controller. An illustrative example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

This paper gives a HJI inequality appropriate for nonlinear H∞ state feedback control and gives a method to get nonlinear control law, the calculation process is clear and easy to understand. In linear system, unstable system is limited by Bode integral, and the optimal performance value is limited. Some literatures present that we can improve the performance during nonlinear area, and reduce the peak value of the sensitivity function. In this paper, we take maglev for example to design an nonlinear H∞ state feedback system, the result illustrates that the performance can’t be improved by using nonlinear control law. This article also points out that for unstable plants, either with linear nor nonlinear control law, the system’s performance is objective limit.

＜正＞ This paper studies the tracking performance of linear time-invariant multivariable discrete-time systems. The specific problem under consideration is to track a multi-tone sinusoidal reference signal consisting of linear combinations of a step and several sinusoidal signals, whereas the tracking performance is measured by the energy of the error response between the output of the plant and the reference signal. Our purpose is to find the fundamental limit for the best attainable performance, under any control structures and parameters, and we seek to determine this limit analytically in terms of the given plant and reference characteristics. Both the full-information and partial-information tracking schemes are formulated and investigated to address these goals, which are concerned with whether or not the reference information is fully available for tracking. Analytical expressions are developed in full generality under full-information tracking, and for a more specialized case under partial-information scheme;in particular, an optimal cheap control design is constructed to show that the performance limit can be attained asymptotically in the full-information case. The results show that in general plant nonminimum phase zeros and reference modes can interact to fundamentally constrain a system’s tracking ability. They also show that absence of full reference information can degrade the tracking performance, thus demonstrating an intrinsic trade-off between the tracking objective and the availability of the reference information.
