本论文以济南历下文化广场为研究对象，探讨铺装设计在城市公共空间功能划分中的支撑作用。通过实地勘察，系统梳理了历下文化广场的铺装设计现状及其空间功能区的划分。铺装设计通过选材、配色、布局等方法，有效划分和定义广场空间，引导人流量的分布和聚集，从而提高广场的整体功能性和有效性。历下文化广场的使用已有几十年的时间，通过对其进行研究分析不仅可以学习之前设计师的铺装规划思路，还可以探讨可以用什么样的铺装设计来规划空间，从而提升空间的利用率和周边居民的幸福感。

The bituminous pavements of the city of Ouagadougou(Burkina Faso)are made using old design methods which take into account the climate from the notion of equivalent *** an equivalent temperature of 30°C is often used for the design of bituminous *** observation that has been made is that this temperature does not currently make it possible to reduce the problems of early degradation of the pavements linked to meteorological *** objective of this article is to propose a numerical approach for determining the equivalent temperature from temperature measurements taken at the surface of the *** approach consists in jointly using the Alizé-Lcpc sizing software and the Comsol Multiphysics software using the finite element *** a four-layer bituminous pavement,located at 12.38°North and 1.48°West,in Ouagadougou,consisting of a surface course of bituminous concrete of 8 cm and a base course of gravel bitumen of 16 cm,an equivalent temperature of 35°C was obtained.

As an important part of steel bridge deck,the engineering quality and service condition of steel bridge deck pavement(SBDP)directly affects the capacity and operational efficiency of the *** paper reviews the history of the development of SBDP in China over the past 20 years from the exploration stage,rapid development stage and prosperity *** development and application of SBDP at different stages are discussed in terms of materials,structure,design,performance evaluation,maintenance and rehabilitation,*** advantages and disadvantages of different pavement materials and structures,and the application of different research methods are *** review shows that the improvement of pavement materials and structures and the development of new materials should be further studied on the multi-scale to enhance the durability of pavement materials,so as to extend the service life of *** design method of SBDP related to the synergistic effect of vehicle,pavement and bridge should be established,and the design concept and method standard of rigid base pavement structure should be improved and formulate a complete design *** addition,multi-disease intelligent identification system and equipment should be studied to track the entire course of disease development in real *** it is necessary to develop appropriate algorithms to select and classify the complex data of disease and maintenance history.

Autonomous vehicles(AVs), including trucks, are already available and their adoption is coming at a rapid pace. Despite the fact that this new transportation technology will travel on existing pavement infrastructure assets, the study and investigation of the AVs structural impact on pavements has not reached the same level of attention and maturity as other related research areas. Considering the extensive investment on pavement construction and maintenance, the necessity to fully understand these impacts in the long term, is becoming evident. The present paper presents and discusses currently published relevant research and findings on the quantification of the wheel wander potential impact,both negative and positive, offering potential insightful future areas of enquiry to help mold and shape future research for this emerging field. The paper focuses on the impact of the AVs zero lateral wheel wander on both new flexible pavement design and the damage accumulation within existing flexible pavement structures. Other wheel wander distributions(normal, uniform, etc.) are investigated as well. The outcome and findings are that the AVs zero lateral wheel wander has a definable negative structural impact on flexible pavement structures in comparison to current human-driven(non-autonomous) vehicles that tend to follow a normal lateral wheel wander distribution. However, under certain defined conditions(optimal wheel wander distribution), the pavement service life can be potentially extended.

Given the great advancements in soft computing and data science,artificial neural network(ANN)has been explored and applied to handle complicated problems in the field of pavement *** study conducted a state-of-the-art review for surveying the recent progress of ANN application at different stages of pavement engineering,including pavement design,construction,inspection and monitoring,and *** study focused on the papers published over the last three decades,especially the studies conducted since *** literature retrieval,a total of 683 papers in this field were identified,among which 143 papers were selected for an in-depth *** ANN architectures used in these studies mainly included multi-layer perceptron neural network(MLPNN),convolutional neural network(CNN)and recurrent neural network(RNN)for processing one-dimensional data,two-dimensional data and time-series ***-based pavement health inspection and monitoring attracted the largest research interest due to its potential to replace human *** ANN has been proved to be an effective tool for pavement material design,cost analysis,defect detection and maintenance planning,it is facing huge challenges in terms of data collection,parameter optimization,model transferability and low-cost data *** attention should be paid to bring multidisciplinary techniques into pavement engineering to tackle existing challenges and widen future opportunities.

This paper reports a practical constitutive relation for highway subgrade soils. The proposed model is derived based on the laboratory repeated load testing of four subgrade soils. Statistical parameters generally used in the power model of subgrade permanent strain are expanded into material constants with engineering significance. The constitutional relation reported in this paper can be used in the mechanistic based pavement design of highway flexible pavements and railroad tracks.

This paper presents a comprehensive review of historical theory development and current construction practice of pavement engineering in China. Mechanical models, design guides, construction techniques, evaluation methods and maintenance standards are elaborated for Portland cement concrete （PCC） pavements methodology among pavements of rural highways, urban roads and asphalt concrete （AC） pavements. Differences in design and airport fields are discussed based on service requirements. Lessons and experiences based on the past 20 years＇ construction practice and pavement performance are summarized. Current research areas in pavement engineering associated with unconventional geological and/or landscaping in China＇s highway construction and national strategic plan for pavement engineering are also covered.
