For the influence caused by multipath fading and non-line-of-sight(NLOS)transmission,it is challenging to accurately localize a moving signal source in complex environment by using the wireless sensor network(WSN)on the *** this paper,we establish a special WSN in the sky to address this challenge,where each sensor is loaded on an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)and the operation center of all the UAVs is fixed on the *** on the analyzing of the optimal distribution and the position error calibration of all the sensors,we formulate the localization scheme to estimate the position of the target source,which combines the time difference of arrival(TDOA)method and the frequency difference of arrival(FDOA)*** by employing the semidefinite programming approach,we accurately obtain the position and velocity of the signal *** the simulation,the validity of the proposed method is verified through the performance comparison.

A novel multi-observer passive localization algorithm based on the weighted restricted total least square （WRTLS） is proposed to solve the bearings-only localization problem in the presence of observer position errors. Firstly, the unknown matrix perturbation information is utilized to form the WRTLS problem. Then, the corresponding constrained optimization problem is transformed into an unconstrained one, which is a generalized Rayleigh quotient minimization problem. Thus, the solution can be got through the generalized eigenvalue decomposition and requires no initial state guess process. Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can approach the Cramer-Rao lower bound （CRLB）, and the localization solution is asymptotically unbiased.

The problem concerning the methods of passive localization based on multi-sensor has attracted widespread attentions in recent *** target localization estimate techniques assume that the number of targets in the localized areas is consistent and known at any *** paper considers a more realistic situation that the number of targets is unknown and time-varying under cluttered *** the first stage,we use the method of time difference of arrival to describe the observation *** the second stage,we apply the random finite set theory to deal with such a more complicated localization problem from the perspective of set,by using the generalized labeled multi-Bernoulli filter with the assumption of independence of all ***,we estimate the position and the number of the time-varying targets simultaneously by using a sequential Monte Carlo *** verify the proposed algorithm,the final experiment provides three pairs sensors to track two targets,which moving in a 2-dimension plane with constant velocity.

Increasing pulses Coherent processing interval(CPI) can effectively improve the location parameters estimation performance in passive ***, for a moving emitter transmitting pulses with Frequency agile and Pulse repetition frequency jittering(FA-PRFJ) in a CPI, there will exist random phase, uneven sampling and Range migration(RM),which deteriorates the estimation performance of location parameters. Aiming at long-time coherent localization parameters estimation for the above emitter, this paper proposes a joint Range difference(RD) and Range rate difference(RRD) estimation algorithm. Firstly, the signal model of a moving emitter transmitting FA-PRFJ signal is constructed, and the influence of the FA and PRFJ on coherent integration is analyzed. Secondly, the random phase induced by FA is eliminated by frequency symmetric autocorrelation function operation. Then, RD and RRD can be coherently estimated after RM correction via the modified scaled non-uniform fast Fourier transform. This method can be efficiently implemented by Fast Fourier transform(FFT), inverse FFT and FFT-based chirp-z transform without any searching operation. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method has a better antinoise capability with a much lower computational complexity compared with several representative methods.

Aiming at the problem of low positioning accuracy caused by the uncertainty of the initial distance of the target in single-station passive localization. This paper proposes a passive localization method based on range-parameterised Cubature Kalman filter. Firstly, the detection range is divided into several intervals, and each interval will be set with an initial weight. Secondly, in each interval, the CKF filter is introduced and the filter weight is adjusted. The simulation results show that the method in this paper can effectively improve the accuracy of target tracking.

Recently, researchers have proposed an emitter localization method based on passive synthetic aperture. However, the unknown residual frequency offset(RFO) between the transmitter and the receiver causes the received Doppler signal to shift, which affects the localization accuracy. To solve this issue, this paper proposes a RFO estimation method based on range migration fitting. Due to the high frequency modulation slope of the linear frequency modulation(LFM)-modulation radar signal, it is not affected by RFO in range compression. Therefore, the azimuth time can be estimated by fitting the peak value position of the pulse compression in range ***, the matched filters are designed under different RFOs. When the zero-Doppler time obtained by the matched filters is consistent with the estimated azimuth time, the given RFO is the real RFO between the transceivers. The simulation results show that the estimation error of azimuth distance does not exceed 20 m when the received signal duration is not less than 3 s, the pulse repetition frequency(PRF) of the transmitter radar signal is not less than 1 k Hz, the range detection is not larger than 1 000 km, and the signal noise ratio(SNR) is not less than –5 d B.
