Decentralized robust stabilization problem of discrete-time fuzzy large-scale systems with parametric uncertainties is considered. This uncertain fuzzy large-scale system consists of N interconnected T-S fuzzy subsystems, and the parametric uncertainties are unknown but norm-bounded. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and decentralized control theory of large-scale system, the design schema of decentralized parallel distributed compensation （DPDC） fuzzy controllers to ensure the asymptotic stability of the whole fuzzy large-scale system is proposed. The existence conditions for these controllers take the forms of LMIs. Finally a numerical simulation example is given to show the utility of the method proposed.

＜正＞A novel robust fuzzy controller design method is proposed to stabilize a class of chaotic（hyperchaotic） systems with uncertain parameters based on their equivalent T-S fuzzy *** this method,the interval system theory is applied to deal with the parametric uncertainty firstly,and then a fuzzy state feedback controller is designed to stabilize the equilibrium of the uncertain chaotic（hyperchaotic） systems robustly based on Exact Linearization（EL） theory and Parallel Distributed Compensation（PDC） ***,the sufficient criterion for the robust stability of the equilibrium of the controlled uncertain chaotic（hyperchaotic） systems is derived by Lyapunov stability theory and LMI *** designed controller with simple structure and rapid response can stabilize many kinds of uncertain chaotic or hyperchaotic *** results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, we developed a stability analysis for discrete-time uncertain time-delay systems governed by an infinite-state Markov chain(DUTSs-IMC). Some sufficient conditions for the considered systems to be exponential stability in mean square with conditioning(ESMS-C) are derived via linear matrix inequalities(LMIs), which can be examined conveniently. Under novel sufficient conditions, the equivalence among asymptotical stability in mean square(ASMS), stochastic stability(SS), exponential stability in mean square(ESMS), and ESMS-C has been established. Besides, numerical simulations are employed in result validation.

This paper deals with the robust passivity synthesis problem for a class of uncertain linear systems with timevarying delay in state and control input. The parameter uncertainties are norm-bounded and allowed to appear in all matrices of the model. The problem aims at designing an observer-based dynamic output-feedback controller that robustly stabilizes the uncertain systems and achieves the strict passivity of closed-loop systems for all admissible uncertainties. By converting the problem at hand into a class of strictly passive control problem for a parameterized system, the explicit solution is established and expressed in terms of a linear matrix inequality. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the validity of the proposed approach.

Performance index based analysis is made to examine and highlight the effective application of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to optimize the Proportional Integral gains for Load Frequency Control (LFC) in a restructured power system that operates under Bilateral based policy scheme. Various Integral Performance Criteria measures are taken as fitness function in PSO and are compared using overshoot, settling time and frequency and tie-line power deviation following a step load perturbation (SLP). The motivation for using different fitness technique in PSO is to show the behavior of the controller for a wide range of system parameters and load changes. Error based analysis with parametric uncertainties and load changes are tested on a two-area restructured power system. The results of the proposed PSO based controller show the better performance compared to the classical Ziegler-Nichols (Z-N) tuned PI and Fuzzy Rule based PI controller.

The admissible consensus problems of uncertain continuous singular multi-agent systems(UCSMASs) are concerned by sliding mode techniques. With a leader-follower communication network, a linear matrix inequality(LMI)-based sufficient condition for the existence of integral sliding manifolds is presented to guarantee exponentially quadratical stability of the sliding mode dynamics. The admissible consensus is achieved with certain convergence rates by a neighbor-control-law-based admissible consensus control law, and by a centralized control law based on the error states of neighbor agents and the Laplacian matrix,respecitvly. A numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed theories.

In this paper, a haptic force estimation scheme without force sensors is proposed for a class of robotic manipulators with multiple disturbances. Different from previous methods, besides haptic force, other disturbances and uncertainties of robotic manipulators are taken into account simultaneously. Motivated by the composite hierarchical anti-disturbance control strategy,a robust haptic force observer（RHOB） is designed by a solution of a linear matrix inequality（LMI）, which can extract precise haptic force from multiple disturbances by taking a strategy of compensation and suppression in due course. Moreover, some integral auxiliary signals are regarded as the robust performance indices introduced in the design and analysis. Also, a composite control strategy based on the mentioned design of RHOB guarantees the boundedness of all signals in the augmented closedloop system and the proposed robust performance indices, and furthermore, the asymptotic convergences of tracking error and force estimation error, in the case of slow-varying haptic force, are successfully achieved. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
